Chalet Sabrina in Central Verbier, 4 Valleys, Valais, Switzerland - Right next to the Medran Ski Lift

Chalet Sabrina is a beautifully appointed three bedroom duplex apartment (110 sq.m.) in central Verbier, ideally situated next to the Medran Ski Lift. Its location, on the top two floors of Verbier's Astoria building, is perfect for avid skiers and for those who want to be within walking distance to all the action, restaurants and shops; while still being able to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views from the apartment. The chalet decor is elegant, yet cosy, including traditional woods, granite, leather and rich upholsteries, with warm lighting, inviting furniture and an open fire, making you feel right at home in the Swiss Alps. Chalet Sabrina is suited to couples as well as families. Facilities include wifi, Sky TV and DVD player, an underground parking space, communal heated boot and ski rooms, lift, as well as a shared laundry facility. The chalet is also located right next to the town's main bus stop which runs a regular (complimentary) service.

About The Owner

We live in the Cotswolds with two young children and love going several times a year to Verbier.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1999

Why The Owner chose 4 Valleys

My husband had been coming here for over 20 years, finding it his favourite ski resort across the board. He then decided to buy. When he introduced me to the place before we had children, I too fell in love with Verbier, and its community. We fully renovated the property in 2007 and have been renting it out through a company on an exclusively catered basis for several years, enjoying much success and popularity. We are now renting it out on a self catered basis, allowing for more flexibility for budgets as well as greater versatility for our own schedule.

What makes this apartment unique

Chalet Sabrina has been a fantastic place to hang our hats both before and after children. The layout is excellent for both friends and family and the location is simply unparalleled for those who want to enjoy all that Verbier has to offer, with or without a car. We love the views, the comforts afforded in the flat, the proximity to everything, and find summers here just as wonderful as winter.

Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and sofa which can act as a single bed. Bedroom 3 has a hand-painted bunk bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: For those with small children, you will be able to relax and travel light with the availability of a high chair, travel cot, optional stair gates, toys and many other helpful items stored in residence. Outside: 2 south-facing balconies, one off of the living room on the lower floor, one off of the master bedroom on the top floor, both with chairs and a table to soak up the sun, views and activity on the rue de Medran. Utility Room: Communal laundry facility in building. Iron, ironing board and drying rack available in the flat. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Prices include the chalet being cleaned both before and after your stay, as well as the beds and bathrooms being made up with a clean set of linens and towels. Should you wish for a mid-week clean and/or change of linen this can be arranged at extra cost.

Charming apartment in a great (central) location

The apartment is right in the heart of town and next door to the main (Médran) ski lifts so extremely convenient. It has been stylishly and comfortably furnished, is equipped with pretty much everything that you need (including a great selection of DVDs) and arrival and departure were very straightforward. The two balconies are real sun-traps. The only (very slight) negative comment is that there is no washing machine in the apartment and the communal washing and drying facilities were rather temperamental. We plan to return next year.

Fantastic location

A very last minute trip to Verbier, our favourite resort and wow, what a fantastic find this apartment was. Thank you to Mountain Beds for your introduction to Chalet Sabrina. The best location, so close to Medran and within a short walk of the vibrant nightlife. The chalet is so well equipped with all that you would need. Incredibly comfy beds. I wish we could have stayed longer. We would love to come and stay again.

Great chalet, centrally located

First to mention is the location which is so convenient. Walking distance either to shops or Medran makes for a very relaxing holiday.

The Chalet itself has a great layout with accommodation upstairs and living area downstairs. Two balconies (one leading off the master bedroom upstairs and the second one leading off the living area downstairs) face towards the beautiful mountain views across the valley.

The kitchen and equipment deserve a mention - it was an absolute pleasure to be in a kitchen which was so well equipped.

And lastly, the interiors were lovely and, together with a log fire, created a perfect cosy chalet ambiance

Perfect place!

The appartment is absolutely wonderfull. The decor is fabulous , the kitchen is well equipped and the location could not be better. Nicole's recommendations were spot on. It was as if a good friend had let us stay in her place. We felt very much at home.

Amazing chalet, fantastic location, right next door to Medran lift - could not be any closer! Lovely south facing balconies, in centre for all bars and restaurants. Couldn't choose anything better!
