Villa in Alcaucin, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Idyllic Countryside Location

Originally built as a 216 sqm five-bedroom villa, four bedrooms are offered for rental. The villa has been furnished to a very high standard as it was intended to remain a family home. The property is entered through a private gated entrance and driveway to a 270sqm parking area. The accommodation on the ground floor includes the master bedroom in one of the circular towers with a large en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, a second double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a third, with fitted wardrobes (mainly configured for children, which can sleep up to 4, with a single bed that can convert to a double, and bunk beds). The staircase leads to the fourth single bedroom in one of the circular upper towers and has access to the 45sq.m roof terrace. The original fifth bedroom in the other upper tower is locked for owner's private storage. There is a family bathroom and a separate guest cloakroom. The hall leads through to the large open-plan 46sqm lounge with two double French doors opening onto a 35sqm covered veranda. The feature circular dining room leads to the beautifully equipped fitted kitchen. The kitchen door opens to the pool area and Summerhouse with dining area and BBQ.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely house, set in wonderful surroundings. The house has everything you could possibly need.

we had such a good time and fell in love with this beautiful part of Spain. The owners cater for all your needs and everything is of the best quality. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Dos Torres, also the manager Ian was really nice and helpful. Hopefully we can return one day !

From the Owner

Our villa is in just outside of the small traditional Spanish village of Alcaucin, with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains of the Sierra Tejeda National Park. Ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding. It is situated in the valley that slopes down to the Embalsa de La Vinuela, where there is fishing, boating, etc. A very peaceful location where you can relax by the pool, although only a short distance to coastal beaches. The property is detached and private. All on one level, so ideal for children. The horseshoe-shaped pool is set in 187sqm of sun terrace and is also very safe for children of all ages.

Nearest Airport : MALAGA at 42 Miles Car: recommended


The area offers a peaceful relaxing holiday but the sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol are only a 20 minute drive away with the very popular resorts of Nerja and Torrox just a little further away.


Malaga airport is only an hour away.


A short walk to Alcaucin village with its quaint narrow streets, local bars, shops, restaurants, banks, a play area and basketball court.

The villa is approximately 15 minutes drive from Torre Del Mar where you will find “El Ingenio” a large shopping mall and adjacent to it is “Aqua Velis”, a water park.

If there is time, Marbella, Gibraltar, Cordoba, Sierra Nevada skiing resort and the Alhambra Palace in Granada are all within an easy drive.

Further Details:

Lake Vinuela is a renowned area for wildlife, and offers non-motorized water sports, fishing, sailing and wind surfing. La Vinuela Hotel, has an excellent restaurant and overlooks the lake.

On the edge of the Sierra Tejeda National Parque, both walking and birdwatching are available, also spectacular views abound for the artist.

The village of Alcucin has a bank, post office and a variety of small shops & restaurants. Just five kilometres away is the village of Puente Don Manuel, where you will find a good selection of bars, restaurants, an internet café, a beauty parlour and an excellent shop that stocks a huge variety of English foods and provisions if required.

There are two of the best restaurants nearby, one typically Spanish and a superb Indian, both with magnificent views of the lake and mountains.

A visit to the caves at Nerja are a must.
