Prime location. This delightful apartment is ideally situated in the best area of Mojacar. It is 150 meters to the glorious promenade and 2 minutes walk from the beginning of the blue flag sandy beach of Las Ventanicas with its loungers, umbrellas, exclusive bars and good selection of fine restaurants. The well cared for property consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning, fans and built in wardrobes. The spacious lounge/diner has 2 fans, TV and free internet. The separate fully fitted kitchen allows you to cook and wash your clothes if you must. The lounge leads onto a south facing terrace which is adjacent to the pretty communal swimming pool. The property is reached by an outside set of 17 steps. It is one of eight in an exclusive sheltered complex at the end of a leafy cul-de-sac. A bus which takes you to all the amenities of Mojacar stops at the end of the road. This apartment is perfect if you wish relaxing accommodation close to all you need in beautiful Mojacar Playa, the best of both worlds.

Appartment is fantastic great location , close to bars , resteraunts and the beach

It has everything you could possibly whant and more , beds are so comfy,air on is a bonus, right at side of the pool (that felt like our own most of the time )

Excellent

The apartment was in an ideal position for the pool, beach and great resturants.

Mediterranean restuarant super value 14euros for a superb three course meal. The new Argentine restuarant is excellent if you like steak and Occo Cento for pasta and pizza.

The apartment was clean but rather noisy air cons in bedrooms!

I will definitely recommend it to friends.

No need for a car as everything is nearby. Great place to relax.

Great Apartment

We have used this apt several times, it is a lovely apt and close to beach, shops, bars, and restaurants . There is a lovely promenade which has been extended to give you a long seaside stroll .We will use the apt in the future without hesitation.

Very nice flat close to amenities would return

The apartment very nice with good quality furniure and fitments ideally situated for getting the sun most of the day

It was nice and quiet as there were very few residents there for our stay which was great as we have had awful experiences in previous years with noisy neighbours above

One or two suggestions for improvements

I would suggest that table cloths and place mats be provided as we were reluctant to put hot plates on the table in case the heat would damage the table

The shelf in the wall cupboard needs a wider shelf or larger wall plugs as it kept collapsing so would not use top shelf

As were there for a month it would have been helpful if more bedding and towels were available but we could have been given additional bedding as Anna offered but we just washed them whilst we were ther

Apart from these minor suggestions everything else was perfect and would hope that we can return again this or next year

Terrific

The property was immaculate and nicely furnished. It is well laid out with plenty of space for 4 people to be comfortable in. It was within easy reach of the beach,restaurants and local supermarket. Highly recommended

Excelente opcion para vacaciones en familia

El pasado mes de julio mi familia y yo pasamos una excelente semana en el apartamento de Helen y Graham.

El apartamento cuenta con todas las comodidades y equipamiento necesario para pasar una semana en familia, incluido aire acondicionado, Wifi gratis y fácil aparcamiento. El apartamento esta situado junto a la piscina y cuenta con una pequeña terraza con mesa y sillas que es excelente para comer o tomar algo relajadamente.

La ubicación es excelente ya que se encuentra en una calle tranquila a apenas 2 minutos caminando de la playa y alejada de los principales locales de fiesta de Mojacar Playa, lo cual lo convierte en ideal para familias. Durante las 7 noches que pasamos allí no tuvimos ni un solo problema de ruidos ya que el resto de los apartamentos estaban ocupados por familias o parejas de mediana edad.

Para nosotros ha sido un acierto elegir este apartamento en Mojacar para pasar nuestras vacaciones y esperamos repetir.

Queremos dar también las gracias a Helen y Graham por confiarnos su bonita casa para pasar nuestras vacaciones. Si volvemos a Mojacar de vacaciones, sin duda nos gustaría repetir en este apartamento.

Location

From the Owner

We travelled extensively along the Southern and Eastern coasts of Spain looking for our ideal location. As we drove beside the long sandy beach of Mojacar we knew this was somewhere we wanted to return to. Having looked at lots of properties during two more visits, we saw Cueva del Lobo on the internet at home. We looked on Google Earth and wondered if it would be as good in reality. It exceeded our expectations. We put in an offer on the next morning. We have enjoyed refurnishing our home. For us the reality has matched the dream. We have found our place to make memories and hope you will make some too. As they say in Spain, "our home is your home" - "nuestra casa es su casa". * Registration Number is currently on process as it is on pending.

Coast/Beach:

This coast is the driest and warmest in Spain and mainland Europe enjoying warm sunny weather through most of the year.

The start of the beach is 150 metres away. It is sandy and has good amenities. One of the delights of this part of the beach is the promenade alongside, which is separated form the road and used by visitors and residents alike for a stroll particularly in the late afternoon. There is a small play area for the children at the start of the promenade.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Almeria which is approximately 90 kms. Allicante airport is 225km, 2 hours 10 mins. Murcia, St. Javier, airport is 160 km, 1 hour 40 mins. There is a toll motorway from Murcia which is not used by the locals so it can feel like your own private motorway.

Car hire is the most convenient, however there is regular bus service from Almaria airport that meets all UK planes. A quote for a taxi pick up can be arranged.

Distances:

The resort of Mojacar Playa stretches along the seafront. It has a good selection of supermarkets, banks, chemists, curio and hardware shops.

Mojacar Pueblo the hilltop town of white washed houses with its restaurants, cafes and craft shops - 2 km.

The Spanish town of Vera is about 15 km away. It has a typically Spanish town square a large market on a Saturday and excellent tapas.

Garrucha is a fishing village with celebrated fish restaurants -5kms

Further Details:

There is plenty to occupy all the family when you stay at Cueva del Lobo. There is a small play park a couple of minutes walk away for the little ones. There is mini golf in season. Near Vera there is a water park. For older children there is a go kart track about 7 km away. In high season there are water sports to be enjoyed.

For the older family members there are top night clubs about 2 km along the coast in Mojacar Playa.

There are a selection of golf courses for the sport enthusiasts and a market in a different village each day of the week for the addicted to shopping. Our favourite is Villaricos, but let us know yours.

A highlight for all the family could be Friday night at the well known Steak House, when they have an authentic flamenco night. Make sure you book as it is always busy. This family friendly holiday will be a place to make memories.

We enjoy the apartment with its good sized rooms and 2 bathrooms. We have found being right next to the pool a big bonus. We like the complex which is small, friendly and well cared for. The climate is, of course, unbelievable for us Scots. The location is perfect - beautiful, clean, sandy beach, a wide variety of very good quality restaurants and, of course, the lovely promenade, ideal for strolling by day or in the cool of the evening. What more could you ask.

  • Notes on accommodation: This is a no smoking property. No pets allowed. The rental agent is situated in Price Brown estate agents just round the corner. Outside: The South facing patio is reached from the front door off the lounge area. It has a circular table and 5 chairs. It is right next to the pool, handy if you forget something. The pool is not over looked and is shared by the eight apartments. The pool is 10 metres long with broad, child friendly steps. It has a shower. The paved garden around the pool is perfect for sunbathing and also has shady areas for the heat of the day. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be cleaned to a high standard before and after your stay. The linen/towels will be fresh on arrival only. There will be 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person. Guests should bring extra including beach/pool towels if needed.
