Stunning Venue

  • 5 of 5

We hired Scaldbeck House for a family gathering to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. With 14 of us ranging from 17 months to 87 years the house was a fantastic place for us all. We extended our group with a further 12 adults on Sunday 19th and the annexe and courtyard really came into its own.

The owners have thought of everything and the house plus all 9 bathrooms were spotlessly clean.

We cannot praise this property enough loved the house, the outdoor space and the owner was always prompt to reply to any request.

We all look forward to the next time we visit

Richard and Sue

Beautiful country retreat!

  • 5 of 5

13 grown ups just had a brilliant weekend in this wonderfully decorated and fantastically equipped house! I cannot fault it at all. Every year a selection of us spend a few nights away in Norfolk and I am always looking for a special place to stay to make the event memorable. Norfolk VIII will go down as the nicest place we have stayed yet and one where we all had space to chill out and do our own thing, but all be together when we wanted. Fantastic location, house is brilliantly laid out, kitchens are a delight (a real treat when cooking for a large party) and everything about our weekend was great - even the weather. Nearby pub is lovely and within staggering distance, we made it along the coast on a couple of days and spent a lot of time just loving being in the house. Thanks for a brilliant weekend!
