The busy night-life of Marbella and the many fine restaurants & tapas bars are all within very short walking distance, yet the location is conveniently and quietly removed from the hustle and bustle of Marbella.

Relaxing Week in Marbella

This town house is in well positioned in the old part of Marbella where you get a first hand experience of local life. Its so close to the shops, bars and restaurants - in fact there is a local bar across the road that also serves food (closed on a Sunday).The house is well maintained and is equipped with everything you need apart from food provisions- obviously eating out is preferable but the kitchen is well appointed and there is a barbecue on the roof terrace. The terrace is private and extremely spacious. Taxi fare from the bus station to the house was less than 10 euros and took approx 10 mins.We are definitely returning for another relaxing holiday.

Live like a local

We really liked the location and the feeling of 'living as a local'. The old town is only 5 minutes away and not much more to the beach. There's a great bar 25m away from the house which we really loved. Good shops nearby for groceries etc. You are near enough to enjoy the buzz of the beachfront but we liked being slightly removed from the touristy hub.

The house is as described and was nice and clean when we arrived. There was only two of us staying but the layout would work well with a larger group as the house sleeps more people. It feels spacious and there's a lovely big roof terrace. Plenty storage and thoughtfully provided items such as beach towels and kitchen sundries.

The only drawbacks we found are :

The oven was very slow to heat

The TV did not work as a TV, though there was a DVD player and a selection DVD's and CD's to enjoy

No air con - a possible issue if you were staying in high summer

We didn't hire a car but parking nearby would be a real issue

Loved the neighborhood!!!

Exactly as represented: great location, near the beach and old town. Both the owner James and Georgiana, the property manager, were fantastic - responsive, helpful and really interested in making sure we had a great time. The apartment was well-appointed with everything we needed. We were 5 mins from the beach and 3 minutes from old town. We would definitely - I say DEFINITELY - rent this location again!!!

Great Family Holiday Home

Fantastic property in an ideal location and perfect for a family holiday.

The house has a great layout which gives everyone enough space if required. 5 minutes from the beach which was excellent. Beach area has some super family friendly restaurants but if you prefer to eat in then the house is a couple of minutes from a local supermarket. The house is not far from the main coastal motorway which we used frequently as we had rented cars. Would recommend having a car as it does allow you take the water parks in Torremolinos and Fuengirola, which are a must for kids of all ages. When we return to Marbella I will be taking my golf clubs as there were some great looking courses not far from the property.

All in all could not fault the townhouse and its location and have no hesitation in recommending it to those looking for a great family holiday.

The heart of real Spanish life

My family stayed here the week before Easter, and had a wonderful time benefitting from this fantastic property which is equidistant from Marbella's beautiful Old Town and the beach. A traditional Spanish property, it has been considerately renovated and provides plenty of space for a large family, with generous communal areas and a large roof terrace.

If you want to discover a bit more about the real Spain and the old Marbella - and want to avoid the uniform apartments at the other end of the town - this is a fantastic option, ideally suited to families who want to split their time between sight-seeing and spending time playing on the beach.

It is also conveniently located near the coast road and within a few minutes of the motorway, although there is no traffic noise from either in the property.

Location

I have lived in this property regularly over the last 5 to 6 years and bought it primarily for its location in the heart of a Spanish Neighbourhood while still being close to the beach, old town and bars/restaurants of Marbella. I have always tried to holiday in places where I get a taste of real culture, and staying here has allowed me to do just that. Being from a northern European climate myself, the luminous aspect of the house with large windows and lots of sunlight have been a pleasant change from the dark artificial light of where I grew up. And obviously, the roof terrace has seen many a late night and empty bottle of Spanish Vino. I just hope that others can enjoy the property as much as I have over the years!
