The master bedroom is large with beams and a 5ft bed with a gorgeous pocket sprung mattress. We are a married couple who have lived in the cottage for 18 years. My husband Henry was one when he came to Trevigue and his family have lived and farmed here since then. We have three children and love the farm for walking access to the beach, peace and quiet and tranquillity. I love to cook and entertain. Henry loves to be outdoors, running and cycling on the cliffs and training for triathlons! I am Cornish as are our children and I have a passion to reintroduce Cornish food and customs to keep Cornwall alive.

Why they chose this property

The Crocker family came to Trevigue in 1976 and have farmed and lived here ever since. When my mother in law first came here she said to her husband can you hear that, and he replayed what do you mean, and she exclaimed listen to the silence. So peaceful and quiet here and an amazing location for a real get away from it all holiday. Literally 5 minutes walk and you are on the top of the cliffs with staggering views, you feel you are on top of the world. The perfect holiday in the perfect cottage in the perfect location. Oh also a great surfing beach just down the road! There is an amazing walk by the cottage down through the woods which ends up in Crackington Haven. Just like something out of a book by Enid Blyton!

What makes this property unique

A lovely warm cottage with bags of character and very stylish. Lovely and old with loads of mod cons. The position is amazing right on the cliffs for long leisurely walks. There would be little need to use your car and experience a real get away relaxing holiday. A private retreat. Old meets new very much in Trevigue cottage. The owners live near by so are there if you need them. We are a working farm of over 200 acres panning the North Cornish cliffs. You can wander out to the cliffs and see wild ponies and cheviot goats. If you are careful you could feed the ponies with carrots! Great position for exploring Cornwall. Although secluded we are only a 5 minute drive onto the A39. Lovely local shops.
