Property owners very helpful

  • 4 of 5

The owners of this property are close by and helpful. We ran into a situation where my luggage was lost and they accepted the luggage from the airline courier while we were out for the day. It was nice that they did that and helped us move on from a stressful luggage situation. Thanks again.

Spacious and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

Malcom and Tracey were very friendly, and were available if needed. The apartment was spacious, modern, and set in a quiet country side area just outside of Arklow, and close to the highway. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We were happy with our choice.

Our 1st time in Ireland, we will definitely be back. Excellent location, peaceful setting, but close to so many things to do and see. The apart was perfect, very clean and tidy, had everything one needed for cooking and entertainment.

Average at best

  • 3 of 5

Lovely people and area to stay in. Quite unorganised facilities and communication though, for example no code to enter the property, sky box not working which means half working DVD cabanet was our only option. Also communication as we mentioned was poor, we had a set time for departure and then was changed half way through our stay when we had already arranged plans. To sum up we can't fault hospitality and the area, but every thing else was average at best.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with your stay but I did suggest in an earlier email that a young couple spending three days in the area might not be suitable without a car. I'll try to address some of the issues you mentioned in your review. I'm sorry I did'nt provide the access code for the main electric gates but seen as you didn't have a car I saw no need as a pedestrian access is obtained by a side gate. The sky box works perfectly and if I'd known there was an issue I would have been happy to help as we only live next door, the DVD's probably do need to be rearranged or perhaps some thrown away. Checkout is midday, we tried to facilitate you by letting you stay till 1pm but time is needed to clean the premises for guests coming later that day, again I'm sorry if this was misunderstood. I hope these answers resolve any disappointment you previously had with your holiday with us in Arklow and perhaps you will decide to come and visit us again at a later date. Regards, Malcolm
