Beautifully furnished air-conditioned penthouse with marble floors, leather sofas and contemporary furniture. The lower terrace is perfect for dining. You can also dine on the large roof terrace where you'll find sun-beds and a gas Webber BBQ. The terraces overlook the Mediterranean ocean, with views of Marrocco and the Atlas mountain range in Africa on clear days. The 'real' Spain is literally on your door step with some great beach bars (chirringuitos) and both traditional and modern Spanish eateries (vents). Alternatively, try Sabinillas beach front, or harbour-side at Puerto Duquesa for a more international feel; all are relaxed and family-friendly. Within walking distance are the bars/restaurants of Casares Golf Club, 5* Finca Cortesin Golf and Spa (with ice room) and Casares/Manilva beach.

About Joe Hoff

We bought our apartments and villa here in Casares simply because the area is so beautiful and diverse. The location is peaceful and spacious, and there’s plenty to do nearby if you want to be active - beach/golf/walking/cycling/bird watching etc. If you do just want to chill – it’s fab! If you're into great food, there's so much choice from casual beach-side, international in Duquesa, Marbella and Puerto Banus, and rural ventas -traditional Spanish, including some fantastic conversions.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just ten minutes walk from the the choice of two beaches. We provide beach towels so you can travel light and make the most of the great coastline. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of discounted rates at the nearby Casares golf, Dona Julia golf, or Estepona golf. We are situated next to the entrance of Casares golf and the famous Finca Cortesin golf course.

Notes on accommodation: Please note that the clean-out fee is £45 when using one bedroom/one bathroom, £75 when using two bedrooms/two bathrooms, £95 when using all three bedrooms in the 3-bedder. Strictly non-smoking indoors; you are welcome to smoke outside on the terraces. Outside: Spacious gated and fenced pool on site with lifeguard and a children's pool attached. Sun loungers and sunshades are provided. Guests are required to take their own beach towels to the pool side. The toddler pool area also has sunbeds, so parents can relax while watching their children playing in the pool.

Fantastic penthouse apartment

We stayed here with three adult teenagers..we all loved it. Joe was helpful and we had no problems with anything. On arrival we found the apartment spotlessly clean, spacious, , airy and well maintained with quality furnishings, bedding and towels. The kitchen was well equipped for eating in. The hot tub was relaxing on the spacious upper balcony and great for sunbathing . Pool area clean, good size and mostly quiet, friendly people and life guards. The complex itself was mostly quiet so very relaxing. Ten minute walk down to the beach ,easier going down than up! You pass a taxi rank which is handy if the designated driver wants a night off! The golf club across the road from the complex entrance is worth a visit for an evening meal or drinks, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Estopona is a ten minute drive, markets , shops and plenty of reasonably priced restaurants.The larger supermarket Carrefour was here. Duquesa port smaller but nice to visit. Casares village up the hill is amazing , we were lucky their fiesta was on. We found Costa Casares a great base for exploring this area of Spain. We really enjoyed our stay.

Large Penthouse Apartment @ Casares

Stayed here July2016 for 12nights. The apartment was ideal for our needs. Family holiday with adult children (party of 5) . Place was very clean and the complex was great with secure parking .Towels supplied & gas BBQ. the roof terrace and lower terrace gave us loads of space. Pool was great with life guards and no problems with sunbed availiability. Joe was very helpful with booking etc. all queries were sorted quickly.Directions to property very good - had no problem finding it. The complex was quiet and near enough to the beach/restaurants to walk easily . We hired a car and visited Gibraltar / Casares village / Duquesa /Marbella all not to far away. Eating out - went to Venta la Choza twice - very friendly staff/ great food. Also La Axarquia on the beach - very good /friendly staff/ great food but gets busy so recommend booking. Duquesa has lots of restaurants of all types - only went for lunch but is a lovely place with harbour and a large beach. All in all great family holiday property.

800 meters to a choice of two wide-stretched beaches.


Excellent access from Gilbraltar and Malaga Airports along the Costa del Sol by motorway A7/N340 or new toll road AP7. Gibraltar Airport 25 minutes drive. Malaga airport 50 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended.

Bus service available from Malaga to Estepona, from here a short trip by taxi.

If required airport transfers can be arranged.


The local town of Sabinillas is 2 minutes drive with supermarkets, banks, shops and bars. The marina of Duquesa is 5 mins drive offering international cuisine, shops, bars and internet cafes. About 10 minute drive up the hill is the white-washed (typical picture postcard) village of Casares. A 10 minute drive west is Estepona with beautiful shallow sandy beach and 20 minutes drive to Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Morocco is within easy access and can be visited on a day trip via the ferry crossing

Further Details:

Sunday market in Sabinillas. Small craft market on Sunday in Sotogrande. Large general market in Estepona on Wednesdays. Famous "bull ring" market in Puerto Banus (20 mins drive) on Saturday.

Waterpark in Algeciras is worth a trip as well as Tivoli world in Arroyo de Miel Benalmadena.
