Beautifully furnished air-conditioned apartment with marble floors and contemporary furniture. The terrace is perfect for dining overlooking the Mediterranean ocean, with views of Marrocco an the Atlas mountain range in Africa on clear days.

The balcony is great for sun bathing, as well as grilling on the Webber gas fuelled BBQ.

The 'real' Spain is literally on your door step with some great beach bars (chirringuitos) and both traditional and modern Spanish eateries (vents). The rural setting of many vents is really beautiful, and most have outdoor terraces. Alternatively, try Sabinillas beach front, or harbour-side at Puerto Duquesa for a more international feel; all are relaxed and family-friendly. Within walking distance are the bars/restaurants of Casares Golf Club, 5* Finca Cortesin Golf and Spa (with ice room) and Casares/Manilva beach.

We bought our apartments and villa here in Casares simply because the area is so beautiful and diverse. The location is peaceful and spacious, and there’s plenty to do nearby if you want to be active - beach/golf/walking/cycling/bird watching etc. If you do just want to chill – it’s fab! If you're into great food, there's so much choice from casual beach-side, international in Duquesa, Marbella and Puerto Banus, and rural ventas -traditional Spanish, including some fantastic conversions.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just ten minutes walk from the the choice of two beaches. We provide beach towels so you can travel light and make the most of the great coastline. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of discounted rates at the nearby Casares golf, Dona Julia golf, or Estepona golf. We are situated next to the entrance of Casares golf and the famous Finca Cortesin golf course.

Location

Coast/Beach:

800 meters to a choice of two wide-stretched beaches.

Travel:

Excellent access from Gilbraltar and Malaga Airports along the Costa del Sol by motorway A7/N340 or new toll road AP7. Gibraltar Airport 25 minutes drive. Malaga airport 50 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended.

Bus service available from Malaga to Estepona, from here a short trip by taxi.

If required airport transfers can be arranged.

Distances:

The local town of Sabinillas is 2 minutes drive with supermarkets, banks, shops and bars. The marina of Duquesa is 5 mins drive offering international cuisine, shops, bars and internet cafes. About 10 minute drive up the hill is the white-washed (typical picture postcard) village of Casares. A 10 minute drive west is Estepona with beautiful shallow sandy beach and 20 minutes drive to Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Morocco is within easy access and can be visited on a day trip via the ferry crossing

Further Details:

Sunday market in Sabinillas. Small craft market on Sunday in Sotogrande. Large general market in Estepona on Wednesdays. Famous "bull ring" market in Puerto Banus (20 mins drive) on Saturday.

Waterpark in Algeciras is worth a trip as well as Tivoli world in Arroyo de Miel Benalmadena.

Notes on accommodation: Please note that the clean-out fee is £45 when using one bedroom/one bathroom, £75 when using two bedrooms/two bathrooms, £95 when using all three bedrooms in the 3-bedder. Strictly non-smoking indoors; you are welcome to smoke outside on the terraces. Outside: Spacious gated and fenced pool on site with lifeguard and a children's pool attached. Sun loungers and sunshades are provided. Guests are required to take their own beach towels to the pool side. The toddler pool area also has sunbeds, so parents can relax while watching their children playing in the pool.

A very peaceful, beautiful stay with stunning views

We stayed in the 2 bed penthouse with private roof terrace in mid July. We had the most lovely time!

The views from the roof top are just stunning, it was such a treat everyday to have breakfast up there just taking in the views. We thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi up there too. The terrace is completely private, not overlooked at all.

If you're after a restful time then this is perfect, the apartment is 15 minutes easy walk to the beach (and local filling station/small store) where there are miles of promenade to walk along, walk with the sea on your left and you'll come to Puerto de la Duquesa which is just delightful. The little sea front restaurant at the bottom of the hill at the beach is wonderful, don't be put off by the plastic chairs!

The apartment itself is very clean and well equipped. The bedrooms are quite small but completely adequate with plenty of storage, the double bed was very large and super comfy (the other room has twin beds which we didn't use). The second shower room is quite small too but useful to have.

The apartment has a balcony too, again the view is breath taking, we'd spend evenings enjoying a drink whilst taking in the peace and the view. Just wonderful!

Caseres is an unspoilt and beautiful part of southern Spain. We hired a car, the 60 min drive from Malaga is very straightforward. We visited Gibralter (40 mins drive well worth doing), Marbella (25 min drive, exciting to visit) and Estepona (15 min drive. lovely seafront and big supermarket).

The underground parking is great with a lift right up to the front door of the apartment.

The nearest pool is right outside the block, never too busy, a welcome swim everyday to cool down. We'd go back at the drop of a hat if we could!! Thank you very much Joe, it's safe to say we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
