Beautifully furnished air-conditioned penthouse with marble floors, leather sofas and contemporary furniture. The lower terrace is perfect for dining. You can also dine on the large roof terrace where you'll find sun-beds and a gas Webber BBQ, as well as a Jacuzzi for 4 people. The terraces overlook the Mediterranean ocean, with views of Marrocco an the Atlas mountain range in Africa on clear days. The 'real' Spain is literally on your door step with some great beach bars (chirringuitos) and both traditional and modern Spanish eateries (vents). Alternatively, try Sabinillas beach front, or harbour-side at Puerto Duquesa for a more international feel; all are relaxed and family-friendly. Within walking distance are the bars/restaurants of Casares Golf Club, 5* Finca Cortesin Golf and Spa (with ice room) and Casares/Manilva beach.

We bought our apartments and villa here in Casares simply because the area is so beautiful and diverse. The location is peaceful and spacious, and there’s plenty to do nearby if you want to be active - beach/golf/walking/cycling/bird watching etc. If you do just want to chill – it’s fab! If you're into great food, there's so much choice from casual beach-side, international in Duquesa, Marbella and Puerto Banus, and rural ventas -traditional Spanish, including some fantastic conversions.

The property is just ten minutes walk from the the choice of two beaches. We provide beach towels so you can travel light and make the most of the great coastline. For those who enjoy a more active holiday, you can take advantage of discounted rates at the nearby Casares golf, Dona Julia golf, or Estepona golf. We are situated next to the entrance of Casares golf and the famous Finca Cortesin golf course.
A £200 returnable security deposit is required at the time of booking and will be refunded within approx 14 days, once the apartment has been checked and keys/electronic gate fobs returned.

Myself, my husband & 12 year old Son, stayed in this apartment for a week in February 2017. It exceeded expectations and was perfect for what we needed.
Firstly, Joe the owner was very responsive and the booking procedure was easy and hassle free. He sent the property information over email, which included the address and how to find it etc.
We organised flights ourselves and picked up a car at Malaga airport. I had already looked at the address that Joe sent over and found a large Carefour supermarket in Estepone, so we headed there first to stock up and then drove the final 10mins to the apartment. We found it easily, pretty much straight off the highway into a well managed, beautiful complex. We followed Joes instructions which led us to the underground parking area with direct access and lift up to the apartment. Being Feb we had a couple of days of rain, so the underground parking was very handy.
The apartment was quite large, modern, cleanly furnished and felt very homely. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, the best we have ever had, there were condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, a couple of beers in the fridge, washing and dishwasher tabs. We did forget some bits so this was useful and we left a couple of things to add to the collection. All the furnishings were good quality and very comfortable. The roof terrace was large, plenty of room for dining, lounging and of course enjoying the hot tub with great views out to the sea. There was no extra charge for the hottub which was a bonus.
As we were there in Feb and was a bit unlucky with the weather, we didn't do much sunbathing or use any of the pools within the grounds, however it was clear to see how amazing this place would be in Summer and we do plan to go back. Our main reason for this holiday was a comfortable base to see some of the larger citys/towns of Andalusia and it was perfect. The roads were well sign posted and it was easy scenic drives to Estepona, Ronda, Seville, and Cadiz which were all amazing. There was Estepona and another small commercial area within a 5/10 minute drive, or walk if the weather was good, with plenty of restaurants and shops. There was a very good restaurant within walking distance called La Choza. Lastly we had no problems on leaving and our deposit was refunded quickly. My wife, twelve year old son and I spent eight enjoyable days staying in this 2 bedroom penthouse apartment. The views from the roof-top terrace towards Gibraltar, deep into the Atlas Mountains of Morocco and of the surrounding Andalusian mountains, which cloak the building, were nothing short of magnificent.
Situated in the west of the Costa Del Sol, an hours drive from Malaga airport, the apartment is well presented, clean and fully functional. The added bonus of a jacuzzi, top end gas barbecue, and good quality interior and exterior furnishings ensure that you feel well catered to throughout your stay.
We felt completely safe in the apartment and instantly relaxed. The pool, one of five you could access, was never overly crowded, even in July. Internet access is a must for any self-respecting twelve year old and we never had any issues on this count. It worked perfectly.
The owner, Joe, was always prompt in his replies, professional and courteous throughout all of our transactions.
In my opinion, a car is necessary to fully appreciate all that is on offer in the surrounding area. And there is plenty.
The further west you travel on this coast the better it gets. Casares and the surrounding areas have been developed in a manner which is sympathetic towards the environment in which they are set. A lovely place, a lovely atmosphere and all well managed by Joe. I'd recommend it.
June 2016 had a lovely peacefull holiday,( x2 adults )lots of places to see, beach just down the road,apartment was clean comfortable and well equipped ,beautiful views weather was great,owner gave good directions from airport,only had problem with the internet contacted owner who managed to sort it just before the end of holiday ,ticked all of our boxes would definitely stay again.
An absolute perfect holiday! Fantastic,clean,tidy and well equipped apartment, close to some beautiful locations. Within easy reach of beaches,supermarkets,restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend to anyone but a car is essential.
My family with a 14 year old girl and eleven year old boy stayed here for two wonderful weeks. Beautiful grounds and pools areas although the roof terrace with jacuzzi was where we spent our time when "home" the views were spectacular. Had breakfast there and a few barbecues which were so easy with the gas unit. Duquesa was a beautiful harbour and beach only minutes away and for the high life puerto banous was 25 mins north. Could have easily stayed longer as it is a real home from home.
This was my 3rd apartment booking in this area and by far it was the best.
I spent a week in the Penthouse apartment and can't wait to go back. The property is in great condition throughout, furnished to an excellent standard with great appliances. Beds are very nice and comfy.
The balcony is ideal for a nice breakfast watching the sea or a quick lunch in the shade. The roof terrace is a great place to enjoy the sun on one of the loungers (X4), use the jacuzzi (I have not yet used it) or have dinner al fresco while using the large Weber Gas BBQ.
Location is perfect, not far from the beach and lots of grocery shopping options with 2 mercadona, 1 lidl and 1 carrefour within 15 minutes drive. Also plenty of restaurants down the road by the nearby beach or at the Puerto La Duquesa Marina.
Wifi included is reliable and fast, large TV + DVD player and xbox. Sadly without UK channels as satellites recently narrowed their beam excluding southern Spain from the reception area, but who needs TV. Lying down on the loungers on the roof terrace looking at the stars was great fun.
You do need a car to get around and with underground car parking to keep your car safe and cool it's a great option.
