Golly offers stunning views over the breathtaking scenery that is the Pembrokeshire coast. 5-10 minutes walk down a national trust path directly from the property leads to a secluded beach which caters for all tastes having sand, pebbles and rock pools. Or use this path to join up with the National Park paths, which follow the entire Pembrokeshire coast. Within 3 min drive are further beaches, including the famous Newgale Sands, shops, pubs and restaurants. Bus stop plus phone box are opposite Golly. We are just a few minutes drive from the beautiful city of St David's, the smallest and most picturesque city in the UK, which offers you every convenience that you will need. Solva the beautiful fishing port is accessible by coast path or 3 miles drive away.

From the living room you can look out through the patio doors to the beautiful sea and also access a fantastic patio with picnic table for 8 which looks again straight to sea. There is a high chair and travel cot available for those with small children. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all the appliances one would need. There is an additional utility room with washing machine, dryer and indoor rack for clothes, wetsuits etc. Outside: Outside is seating for 8 with sea views over the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. This patio is south facing. There is a BBQ in situ as standard and a small garden at the back of Golly as well as a very large gated parking area. Utility Room: There is an additional utility room with washing machine, dryer and indoor rack for clothes, etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen is not provided as standard but can be arranged if you would like – just let us know. Other: There is a high chair and travel cot available for those with small children.

Spacious and airy with a great view. There was plenty of room for 6 adults.

The house was great for our adult family surfing holiday. Lovely terrace to sit out and enjoy the view. Even on the rainiest day it was nice to sit in the lounge after being out and enjoy the weather from inside. Clean and well equipped. The new annexe was pretty and comfortable (but quite snug for two of us with our luggage not really having anywhere to go). We know the area well and the house was well placed for fabulous cliff walks from the door. The beach across the road is lovely and Newgale is 2 mins by car.

A Little Gem

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this wonderful property. The bungalow is perfect in every way, furnished and equipped to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. It is very welcoming and has a real homely feel. Perfectly situated with lovely views of the sea, beautiful beach within a 10 minute walk. All amenities within easy reach by car though the bus stops just across the road. This is a real gem and we will definitely be back.

Location

Coast/Beach:

We are in the heart of the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline - the nearest beach, Penycwm (very isolated and private but does entail a 5-10 minute walk down a gravel path) is a few minutes walk away. Within 3 minutes drive is one of Wale's most popular beaches, Newgale Sands - over two glorious miles of glistening sand, very popular with families as it is very safe - surfing lessons also available here.

Travel:

We recommend that you bring a car - even though there is a very good puffin bus service which takes you all round the coast, it is far easier to explore with a car. The nearest train station is Haverfordwest which is a 15min drive away and the nearest major airport is Cardiff. There is a small airport in Haverfordwest for small light aircraft.

Distances:

Solva - 3 miles

St Davids - 7 miles

Newgale Sands - 1/2 mile

Further Details:

Golly has the advantage of being next door to Chapel House so if you have a large family, group of families, friends etc and need to accommodate 16 then you have the opportunity to book both!

Places like Pembrokeshire make you wonder why you go abroad for holidays! The people are incredibly friendly plus there are enough activities available that you could easily occupy yourself for a month if you so wanted. Just to list a few of our favourites, whale and dolphin watching, boat trips, surfing, lazing on the beach, horse riding (on trails or on the beach), hiking the stunningly scenic coastal path, shopping, quad-bike racing, theme parks, water skiing, scuba-diving, jet-skiing, 4x4 trails, kayaking, coasteering (has to be tried!), visiting local farms, local vineyards, cinemas, spas, swimming, fishing, golf, eating and drinking the best local cuisine plus of course just lazing in the garden with a good book has to get a mention as well. Virtually anything you can think of that you would like to occupy your holidays can be organised here in Pembrokeshire.
