Garage parking for a car. No lift. Master double bedroom & a twin bedroom (with own TV/DVD). Bathroom & WC. Wet room & WC. Groovy fireplace. Open plan dining/kitchen/living area. Brand new LG HD TV (Dozens of channels including BBC1-4, ITV 1-4 etc), CD/DVD, wifi, Bose sound Ipod dock, Chromecast dongle. Large picture window & door to sunny south facing balcony with a great view. Triple glazed rear windows. No smoking indoors and no pets - sorry.

We live in the country in Northamptonshire. We love skiing, walking, sports and lazing. We have been going to Verbier for 30 years and just love being there - as often as possible. We have many friends in the town and there is always time for a coffee or a beer to watch the world go by..

As a late comer to Verbier my visit stay at Skieurs, quite simply could not have been better, The uber smart interior design - all totally new and functional,was fantastic,gorgeous deep bath to soak away piste aches and pains and do enjoy a coffee on the balcony too - what a view! I loved the fact the feel was fresh - its 1 min to the ski lift- and a fantastic bar adjacent, ideal to soak up the Verbier vibe ! Andy from Assynt, Lochinvar



Perfect location for the main ski liftTraditional building but fantasic modern interior, expensively fitted out, clean lines with dark wood, sparkling white bathrooms, funky cowhide sofa. Terrific balcony on which to watch the sun set over the mountains whilst enjoying a G&T. Underheated floors make the bathrooms a delight to use. Helen R, Addington,Bucks



We had a wonderful stay at your place. It is a lovely apartment.My 7 year old boy loved the bed with the tv just in front. I especially loved the view and the Nespresso maker! SM, Switzerland

Amazing location !

This appartment has been very well thought out and beautifully renovated . There is a space for everything including a handy ski store and boot store. It was very clean and was cleaned again once during the week and when we left at the end of our stay. We did not need to do anything. It is in the best location literally 3 minutes from the main lift and very close to all the restaurants and shops. It could not have been more perfect for my husband and I and our teenage son. All very easy and professional. We hope to book in again for next year.

Location

We finally bit the bullet and bought our apartment in Verbier in 2002. It is a fabulous place to ski and we enjoy the summers as there is so much to do - golf, tennis, walking, mountain biking, parapenting, horse riding, not to mention the Music Festival, Equestrian Festival, Bike Fest and other events. Our boys just love it too and not just for the nightlife!

Nearest Airport : Geneva at 161 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Pub Montfort at 20 Metres Nearest Golf : Verbier at 2 Kilometres Nearest Train : Le Chable at 9 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : Martigny at 28 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Offshore at 20 Metres Nearest Ski : Medran at 50 Metres Car: not necessary

Travel:

Fly to Geneva (or Sion from London City airport). Then hire a car (about 2 1/2 hours drive from Geneva, 1 hour from Sion) or take the train to Martigny from Geneva Airport and change to the St Bernard Express train to Le Chable. Options then are to take the Telecabine or the Postbus or a taxi up the mountain to Verbier. There are also regular bus transfers from Geneva airport to Verbier (Alpina, Alpybus etc)

Distances:

Martigny is about 30 minutes drive away. It is a pleasant town with a very good art gallery/museum- Fondation Gianadda.

Lavey - another 20 minutes on - has a great spa resort/baths complex.

Italy through the St Bernard Tunnel is 60 minutes away - nearest big town is Aosta.

Further Details:

The apartment is 5 minutes walk from Place Centrale but a bakery and a butcher is nearby as well as the famous cheese shop - la Chaumiere (under the Milk Bar) and the Vinabagnes deli. Close restaurants include the Brasserie Le Bec, Vieux Verbier, Offshore, Relais de Neige, Fer a Cheval and the Millenium. The Pub Montfort has great bar food. Medran Lift Station also has a café. The new Place Blanche has Mountain Air (sports, ski & fashion), Brasserie le Bec and the W Hotel.Verbier has a sports centre with swimming pool, tennis courts, ice rink and ice go-karting.

50% deposit taken if booking greater than 8 weeks before arrival date, otherwise 100% if less than 8 weeks to arrival date. Balance due 8 weeks before arrival. Tourist tax included in the rental price.
Changeover Day:
Saturday or Sunday is our change over day. We need a gap of 5 hours between departures and arrivals so ask guests to leave by 10am and arrive no earlier than 3pm. If you need to leave bags somewhere, there is a Consigne in Medran lift station.

We hate walking in ski boots so being a minute from Medran is a real boon. No faffing about with buses etc. You can also take the lift down to Le Chable and catch the new lift up to Bruson to ski if you fancy a ski in a quiet area with great off piste and few people. The bus stop is also a minute away if we want to go up Savoleyres or Carrefour. We have a covered parking space underneath the building which is convenient as parking is not easy in Verbier.
