About the property

E5509

The old farm buildings have been thoughtfully converted into ten attractive holiday cottages, maintaining many of the original features, ranged around a flower-decked yard and with spectacular views across the Bride Valley towards the Coast. Around the Farm we have plenty of leisure facilities, a woodland walk and sporting activities, including an all weather tennis court. The games room and barn provide indoor activities including pool, table tennis, skittle alley and table football. The farm is also ideal for younger children with safe play areas including a sandpit, swings and slides, trampoline and activity pirate ship.

Further Details:

Bridport & Westbay

Bridport is a vibrant and colourful town, set amongst the West Dorset hills. It is a most welcoming town and a wonderful place for browsing in shops selling local produce. There is a twice-weekly street market and monthly farmers market. The curiously named ‘Bucky Doo Square’ is the focal point of the town and provides a pleasant spot to sit and watch the world go by.

One mile south of Bridport is West Bay, a busy harbour village with characteristic kiosks, fishing boats, pubs and restaurants all nestled between the spectacular East and West Cliffs. It is host to an annual Trawler Theme Parade where trawlers and their crew are decorated before setting out for a short trip along the coast. Also in West Bay is the highly recommended seafood restaurant, the Riverside Restaurant.

Weymouth & Dorchester

Weymouth is a larger town with plenty of shops, lots going on and a large sandy beach. There are plenty of family attractions including Sea Life, Brewers Quay and the beach fairground.

The county town of Dorchester is not far away and has plenty of shops and lots of history. There are a number of small museums and the 4000 year old hill fort of Maiden Castle.

Lyme Regis & Charmouth

A few miles away are the towns of Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Charmouth is the best place on the south coast to go fossil hunting where you are almost guaranteed to find your own fossil - especially if you join one of the many tours.

Lyme Regis is a very pretty town with a great sandy beach and lovely places to eat including Mark Hix's new fish restaurant.
