This superb townhouse, with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wc, and views overlooking Spain and Portugal, is ideal for Families, Groups, and Golfers. The townhouse has a large ground floor patio outdoors which is great for al-fresco dining. There is a terrace leading from the master bedroom and a fabulous roof terrace, perfect for sunbathing or watching the sun set over the Guadiana River and fabulous International Bridge. It is furnished to a high standard, complete with everything you will need during your stay. There is a shared pool area inc. children's pool and play area. It overlooks the east golf course and the club house and driving range are a 5 minute drive. Located near Ayamonte and Isla Canela, with its award winning sandy beaches, marina, shops, bars, and restaurants, you can be assured you won't run out of things to do. There are various interesting old buildings and monuments dotted throughout Ayamonte town. The local fiestas have to be experienced to be believed!

We are a married couple living in the North West of England with our son and our Wheaten Terrier. We both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country. We even hope to live there one day!

Costa Esuri is located in Andalucia, Spain which is known as the "Spanish Algarve” with more than 300 days of sunshine per year. We fell in love with the neighbouring town of Ayamonte as it is an unspoilt, real old Spanish town, about as far from the built up Costa's as you can get. There are lots of traditional restaurants and tapas bars around the town squares and the beautiful marina which leads out onto the Guadiana River, separating Spain and Portugal. There are many long, beautiful beaches nearby backed by sand dunes and pine trees and also plenty of great golf courses in the area. Faro airport is an easy 45 minute drive to the house. All the low cost airlines fly here so cheap flights are easy to find.

Our favourite Praia Verde beach is just over the International bridge in Portugal (20 mins drive), on the far side of the Moorish town of Castro Marim. Miles and miles of golden sand stretch as far as the eye can see with barely a building in sight in either direction. Fabulous fresh fish restaurant, Pezinhos N’areia, is a lovely spot to enjoy a lunch or dinner. Along the coast are similarly stunning Cabeco & Monte Gordo (15). In Spain Isla Canela (20) & Nuevo Portil (45) are also worth a visit!


Faro airport in Portugal is a 45 minute drive along a quiet motorway to the house. It is recommended that you hire a car from the large number of rental agents available at the airport, however if you would prefer we can arrange a taxi. Taxi's booked at the airport will be more expensive.

You can also fly to Seville airport which is about a two hour drive away. You are able to catch a bus to Huelva, then one to Ayamonte if you prefer not to drive.


The charming, traditional town of Ayamonte is a 10 min drive. Here locals & tourists mix to enjoy a variety of tapas bars, cafes & restaurants where you can enjoy the famous Jamon Iberico from the black pigs reared in this area.

Just over 1.5 hrs away is Seville, an absolute must if you stay at Costa Esuri! It is a modern bustling city known for its flamenco dancing. For children there is go-karting at Cartaya (25 mins) & water parks at El Rompido and Villamoura in Portugal (50min drive).

Further Details:

There is a mini-market for necessities 10 minutes walk from the house on Costa Esuri. There is a large hypermarket at the beginning of the hill approaching Ayamonte which is a 5 minute drive - here you can get anything you need. There are also a number of smaller, local supermarkets & a fish & meat market in Ayamonte town.

The golf club on Costa Esuri serves good quality lunches & tapas and are open for food until 9pm and drinks until 11 or 12pm. There is also Jag's Bistro on the resort which is a 15 minute walk. The bistro serves a mix of Mediterranean & Indian cuisine. They also have a bar in which you can watch English football.

In Ayamonte there are lots of tapas bars, cafes and restaurants. Our favourites include Limonero for fabulous Mediterranean cuisine. They also do a fabulous English Sunday lunch - although we can only manage this in winter! We also love La Puerta Ancha for great tapas with a little bit of a twist.

On Cabeco beach there is a fabulous, rustic fish restaurant serving the catch of the day alongside Portuguese specialities. The slightly more upmarket Pezinhos N’areia on Praira Verde, is a lovely spot to enjoy a spot of lunch or watch the sun set over a candlelit dinner.

Booking Notes:
A booking is confirmed on receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost.
Full payment is due six weeks before departure date. If you book the accommodation within six weeks of departure, then full payment is due at the time of booking.
A fully refundable security deposit of £200 is required when you pay the final balance. Once we have received confirmation from the management company that the property has been left in good order, this will be returned to you promptly.
Payment can be made by bank transfer.

House linen provided but please bring towels for the beach and pool.

• long term lets of more than 6 months at a substantial discount to the above rates.
If a cancellation is necessary after paying your deposit or after full payment has been made the following are the terms of cancellation:
55-29 days Loss of 50% of deposit
28-22 days Loss of full deposit
21-7 days Loss of 50% of holiday cost plus full deposit
7 days or less Loss of 100% of holiday cost plus full deposit.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible. Arrival is 4pm and departure time 10am, however these are flexible with prior agreement.

Our house is based on Costa Esuri Golf Resort overlooking the east course. Its privileged location offers fantastic views across the river over to Portugal and the surrounding protected natural habitat. The townhouse has 3 beds, 2 baths & WC & is ideal for Families, Groups, & Golfers. It has a large patio outdoors which is great for al-fresco dining (BBQ provided). It is furnished to a high standard, complete with everything you will need during your stay. There is a large swimming pool, children's pool & play area within the immaculate communal gardens which are shared with our neighbours on the manzana (around 30 houses) - however we usually have the pool to ourselves! Our management team will meet you at the house to show you around & can even offer a welcome pack for late arrive.

  • Outside: There are private landscaped gardens to the front and rear of the house. The rear garden has a shaded patio area with a bbq and comfortable outdoor dining furniture which is perfect for al-fresco dining. The first floor terrace overlooks the manicured communal gardens, children’s play area and swimming pool and the large roof terrace has panoramic views of the River Guadiana and the stunning International bridge separating Spain and Portugal. The manicured communal gardens contain two swimming pools - one large & one for children, and a children's play area. These are usually very quiet! We provide portable sun loungers and an umbrella for use around the pool. Utility Room: There is a utility room with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board and a downstairs toilet for your convenience. We also provide loungers & umbrella for use in the pool area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Our management company provide clean bedding & towels for internal use upon arrival. A washing machine is available for guests use and there is a line on the back terrace. Other: From the 1st floor terrace stairs lead up to the fabulous rooftop terrace- a lovely private sunbathing area overlooking the River Guadiana and International bridge- a stunning sight at sunset. Portable sunbeds are available for use on the terraces & pool.
