La Perla de la Bahia, Casares Costa, Estepona, Costa del Sol, Spain - This Is A Beautiful South Facing Ground Floor Apartment Right On The Beach

The apartment overlooks lush tropical gardens with lantern lit walkways to take you through the manicured gardens with pools, fountains and water falls as you walk to the beach. The property is located in the renowned La Perla development which is the most exclusive in the area and is built in traditional Moorish style with direct access to the blue flagged sandy beaches through private gates. La Perla was featured on Celebrity Fantasy Homes (broadcast Monday Feb. 11th 2013) and was described as a "Luxurious Beachfront Development with absolutely stunning views". There are 4 pools one of which is heated off season. This is a gated community with security guard 24/7 and underground parking which is accessed by lift or stairs. There is a famous chiringuito (beachbar) and a beach restaurant both within 3 minutes walk.

PLEASE NOTE: Since May 31st 2016 Owners Direct have imposed, without my consent, a surcharge of approximately 6% on the cost of renting my property. This is paid directly to Owners Direct and is in addition to the substantial fee which I pay to advertise on their site. I have asked them to remove this surcharge but they have refused. About Des Byrne

I am a retired businessman and live with my wife in Ireland near Dublin. We bought La Perla from plans in 2000 and took possession in August 2002. Since then we, our three adult children and our friends, have enjoyed every day we have spent here. We have not regretted our purchase for one moment.

Our reasons for purchasing this property were the gardens, the proximity to the beach and the peace and tranquillity of the district as well as the urbanisation.

We jokingly claim to suffer from "La Perlaitis" when we are here. That is when the gates close behind you on arrival the cares of the world are also left behind. We hope our future guests enjoy it as much as we do even after fourteen years.

What makes this apartment unique

We employ a "meet and greet" lady who will meet you on your arrival with the keys. She will show you where to park, where the apartment is located and answer any questions you may have. As she has lived in the area for quite some time she is familiar with all local amenities.

We had a wonderful holiday in La Perla. The gardens are magical both in daytime and even more so at night with the lantern lit paths, tinkling fountains and the sea lapping on the beach. It is a very peaceful and secure complex due to the gates and security guards. There are some wonderful restaurants in the area which we found easily thanks to your recommendations and directions. On nights in we kept up to date with UK soaps thanks to the availability of UK TV channels.We will certainly be back again. John, UK.

The beach is 2 km long, blue flagged with life guards in summer and is just outside the boundary of the development.

Travel:

Malaga airport 85km - 50 minutes drive.

Gibralter airport 40km - 25 minutes drive.

Distances:

Seville, Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Tarifa, Ronda and Grenada are all within easy reach by car.

Further Details:

The local Spanish fishing village of Sabinillas has a number of supermarkets, a pharmacy, shops, banks and other services including an English speaking doctor and dentist and is a 20 minute walk along the beach or 2km by car. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, many within walking distance while the rest are just a short drive away. There is a taxi rank 2 minutes walking distance. One of the best restaurants is 10km inland.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is privately owned and is furnished to a very high standard and is strictly non smoking. This is our second home and not just a rental property therefore is equipped and furnished to a very high standard for our comfort and needs. Folding bed, high chair, travel cot, baby cutlery & crockery, bed guard & baby bath available. Please ask when booking, . Outside: There is a private garden with sun loungers and shade from nearby palm and pine trees if required. There are two south facing terraces, one covered and one open air, with beautiful views through the gardens and pool to the Mediterranean and North Africa. At night the walkways are lit with terracotta lanterns and the pools are floodlit. There is a gas BBQ on the open air terrace. The covered terrace has a couch, two arm chairs, coffee table and a dining table and chairs. Utility Room: Washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, clothes airer, mop, brush etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen: All hand towels, bath towels, beach towels and linen supplied. Linen and towels changed weekly on request small extra cost.

Picture Perfect Property In A Stunning Location

La Perla is a stunning, safe & peaceful place to stay. The grounds are immaculate, there are a number of pools to choose from (lifeguard included), that ensure that it never seems overcrowded, & the beach & a couple of lovely beach-bars are just a few steps through the gate.

Travelling with 2 young boys this ground floor property was ideal for us & the outdoor area of this property was perfect - an outdoor seating & eating area & a grassed area with 2 sun-loungers meant that we spent a couple of nights using the BBQ & relaxing at the property.

The property itself was spacious, immaculately clean & very well-equipped, there were lots of towels & beach towels which saves a lot of space in the suitcase!

Des, the owner, offered excellent customer service from the start & provided us with all the information that we needed about the area & the property.

I would highly recommend this property to couples & families alike & hope to visit again in the future.

Home from home in beautiful complex

First impressions count for a lot. As soon as we arrived we knew we were going to love the apartment. And we were right. This spacious, Beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment was just what we needed for a complete week of chill out. Private garden to sunbathe and just a few yards from the pool for regular cool-downs. Beach bar a stones throw from the La Perla complex and only a 15 minute walk to nearby Sabinillas. Can you tell - we loved it!!

Fabulous apartment

This is an apartment that we would fully recommend. It is so obviously a second home as it is well stocked with everything needed for an extremely comfortable stay. It is very clean and well- maintained and is in an ideal location for both the beach and the local town of Sabinillas. The tropical gardens are beautiful and are generally quiet and peaceful even at the height of the summer season. The owner Des is particularly helpful and very friendly. We love the apartment so much we are going there again next summer! Thanks Des.

A little piece of heaven!

This was our 5th time to La Perla but this was the first time staying at this great apartment where we spent two wonderful weeks. It provided us with everything and more, it was clean and extremely comfortable with plenty of clean towels and bedding, good appliances and there was plenty of kitchen utensil and crockery. The TV was a bonus so my boys were able to watch the Olympics and there was a good wifi connection. The best bit about this holiday apartment was its location, positioned on the ground floor with views out to the pool and sea with its own private garden and covered terrace where we spent most if our evenings/early mornings. La Perla is right next to the beach, near good restaurants and a selection of supermarkets. What more would you what? This is truly a little piece of heaven and one of our most favourite places. We will certainly be back.Thank you Des!

Highly recommend this delightful apartment. It is spacious, very clean and well equipped (like home from home) with easy access to the pool and beach. A special Holiday apartment which feels like home

This apartment has a superb location in the complex, being ground floor, the furnishings were very good and the comfort level was high.Just being able to walk straight out to the pool and the views were stunning. La Perla really is a little gem whch we never tire of. We have stayed now in four of the apartments on the complex and this one is very special. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

It really felt like a home rather than a holiday apartment. Thankyou and we do hope to return. Christine from London.

To confirm a booking a deposit of 20% of the rental is required. The balance of the outstanding amount is payable not less than four weeks before arrival. There are no additional charges - everything is included in rental price.

Changeover Day:
