The apartment is very quiet and calm. It is on the third (and top) floor which has the benefit of having wonderful panoramic ocean and mountains views and you don't have anyone making any noise above you! However it is not suitable for anyone who has problems with stairs. Inside, the apartment is on two floors, the kitchen, living area and balcony are on one floor with the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. Within the complex there is a beautifully heated pool and a children’s pool with slide for the sole use of Parque Santiago II clients and residents. There is also a poolside bar & restaurant for drinks, breakfasts and snacks. The apartment is set in tropical gardens, with palm tree lined walkways to the beach and promenade. Restaurants, boutiques, reduced designer outlet stores, car hire agencies are all nearby. Parque Santiago II is well maintained.

Booked this apt on a recommendation and it was perfect. Very central, near beach, pool, and shops, food ect. A quiet complex well maintained. The apt itself was ideal for family with 2 bedrooms, small kitchen area and lovely view of sea. Value was good and I would recommend the apt to all.

Great holiday

Perfect location. I have stayed in Parque Sangiago II before but this apartment was the best. Great view of the sea from the apartment just as I like it. Have recommended the apartment to a friend already and will have no problem booking the apartment any time I am in Teneriffe. There is a new supermarket in Parque Santiago II which has everything you would need.

Beware

This apartment was fine, location and size of apartment. We didn't use the kitchen facilities apart from making tea. The advert on Owners Direct stated that there was beach towels supplied. For this reason we didn't pack any. There wasn't any so we had to buy some.

On the whole though, this apartment is perfect for its location to the beach and the many bars and restaurants.

However, on returning to the uk, I waited for 4 weeks to receive our deposit back and had to contact the owner. I was then told that his cleaner had informed him that the iron had been left on and burt out and there had been substantial mess and he was deducting an amout to cover the cost.

I emailed to state we used the iron once then put it back in the drawer and that we left just a few newspapers.

I was then informed that the cleaner had told him that the iron had been left on, there was 2 buckets with various rubbish and that 2 bedsheets and pillows were stained with coffee!!! Unbelievable.

So I think this is just a ploy to keep some of your deposit. So if anyone does book this aprtment I suggest you take pictures before you leave so that lies cannot be told weeks later.

Owner's Response: I'm not going to dismiss the cleaner on the basis of this complaint. I have no reason not to believe her. She did its job conscientiously. Until now it was no claims from other clients. I wanted to transfer the deposit back and asked the client several times to tell me his IBAN and BIC/SWIFT. So far I have not received from him the data needed to transfer money through bank.

The apartment is in one of the best complex in Tenerife. It enjoys one of the best climates in the world in Tenerife.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Parque Santiago II is directly adjacent to the beach and promenade, which stretches from Playa las Americas to Los Cristianos and to Playa de Fanabe and leads to a choice of either volcanic or golden sandy beaches. The beach in front of the apartment is popular with surfers and there is a surf-school on the beach here.

Travel:

15 minutes from Tenerife south airport by taxi.

Distances:

The location of the apartment is so convenient there is no need for a car. There is a good local bus service and many attractions can be reached by coach.

Further Details:

A great selection of bars and restaurants are right on your doorstep. There is a well stocked supermarket on site which stays open until 9.30pm and a large supermarket just outside. A wide range of activities, cycling, sea activities, fishing, boat and bus trips, the Opera House with casino and a lovely crazy golf course are all nearby. A game of bowls or is only minutes away in a taxi at Golf Del Sur as are a selection of golf courses. The Water park, go-carting, safari can be reached within 20 minutes. There are coach excursions round the Island Tour, Mount Teide, Puerto de la Cruz & others.

Ferry services to the other Canary Islands: La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro are available from Los Cristianos.

Restaurants are varied from paella to the most delicious steaks, pizza and pasta or tapas and local dishes. Shopping is duty free and there is a good selection of shops to wander around of an evening.

This apartment is perfectly placed and provides a perfect location for a lovely holiday.
