Guestbook comments from the owner

"Our 3rd visit to driftwood in 4 years! Like so many returning guests, we enjoy this cottage so much. Can recommend a visit to Scottish Fisheries museum in Anstruther. A special lunch was enjoyed at Seafood restaurant in St Monans (delicious food in a beautiful location).

Fantastic Place

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 9 night stay at this lovely cottage. The photos and description of this place do not do it justice it is a beautiful place. We loved the idea of the sitooterie unfortunately we could not use it the weather did not cooperate the view over the Firth of Forth would have been great. Janis and Ian are very helpful and very easy to deal with they are just really nice people Bill and Katrina from Burlington Ontario Canada

Great winter break

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic property in great location with everything you could want. Views alone are worth a visit. Weather was kind for January and had some great walks. What a treat to return to a warm cosy cottage and sit in front of the wood burner. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Total bliss

  • 5 of 5

One word for your cottage.... Wowwww... From the minute we arrived Janis and Ian were so lovely. On arrival there were shortbread, flowers, sweets and a lovely bottle of champagne for our silver wedding anniversary. Everything you needed for a weeks stay was there. Views were amazing and log burner has convinced us to buy one ourselves lol. We purposely kept the TV off all week and totally chilled out. Visited all the wee villages around Cellardyke, ate in lovely places and everyone so friendly. We've visited East Neuk many times and is definitely God's country. Many, many thanks for a fantastic chilled out week. Highly recommend. Katrina and Alan xx
