"Our 3rd visit to driftwood in 4 years! Like so many returning guests, we enjoy this cottage so much. Can recommend a visit to Scottish Fisheries museum in Anstruther. A special lunch was enjoyed at Seafood restaurant in St Monans (delicious food in a beautiful location).

An immaculate, stylish, well equipped cottage with gorgeous sea views.

Overall a delightful relaxing place to stay and a good base to explore the Fife coast.

Amazing Place

  • 5 of 5

We booked this cottage as we wanted to get away for the New Year and it didn't disappoint. We spent the early part of NYE in front of the lovely log burner and midnight by the beach watching the Aurora! The cottage is stunning and has amazing sea views. The owners were really helpful and we loved the small touches such as the flowers, candles and shortbread. We don't usually revisit a place but we are planning on coming back here!

Enjoyed a lovely Easter break at Driftwood. Everything you could have wished for was provided in this beautiful upside down cottage with stunning views from the upstairs lounge. Janis and Ian exceptionally helpful. Weather was good so we did not need to take advantage of the wood burning stove, but it must be great on a cold winter day, although the central heating very efficient. Will certainly return soon. We had a car but it was an easy 10 minute walk into Anstruther, but also good to hibernate in the cottage and listen to the waves!
