Mill Court was converted to apartments in the mid 80s. There is private parking and no 14 is accessible through it own front door. All rooms overlook the river and there is a patio area overlooking the river. There are two bedrooms and a living/dining room. There is a separate kitchen. Mill Court has an indoor heated swimming pool. There is free wireless internet access.

About the Owner

Joan and Anthony bought this property in 2012 and hope to retire to it in the future. In the mean time we are renting it out and we hope that you enjoy your stay. Dunblane is a lovely place. We have chosen it because we have family in the area and very quickly have made some good friends. We have left you a small welcome package along with information about the local area. Again, we hope you enjoy this. We would love to know how to improve any further holidays you may choose to spend with us.

Great apartment in a great location

We stayed in this lovely flat for four weeks, most of April 2016. It was perfect for a long-term stay, with a well equipped kitchen, washing machine, and in easy walking distance to both High Street shops and the large Tesco for all your needs. Bedrooms and storage were ample, beds comfortable, and bathroom and shower larger than average with plenty of hot water. The patio out back was a little chilly during our stay but we were able to enjoy it in the sunshine a couple of times. The sound of the Allan Water running by your windows day and night is wonderfully soothing. The heat worked well and was certainly needed during our stay. Parking is very convenient and the train station is within easy walking distance if needed. Perhaps the very best aspect of the flat is its location in Dunblane, an extremely friendly and interesting town in itself, and very centrally located for excursions all over Scotland. We went away on several overnights to the north and southwest, very easy to do with Dunblane’s proximity to the motorway. Day trips are also very easy, either by car or train to places like Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling.

The only drawback to the flat is directly related to the charm of it being in an old mill building next to a stream-- due in part to the thick stone walls, mobile phone reception is very spotty indoors, and even sometimes outside the door. We also had difficulty with our internet reception while there, but our host Anthony worked overtime trying to get the service provider to fix the problem. They actually never did, but Anthony responded by getting a mobile hot spot that he kept topped up for our use. We are fairly heavy internet users while traveling and we appreciated his efforts to resolve the situation (and shared his frustration with the provider … glad we don’t have to live with that outfit at home!). Anthony and Joan were both very prompt in responding to other text or email questions we had, and provided a voluminous binder in the flat that included appliance manuals and local maps and sightseeing information.

In sum we highly recommend this flat and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay in Dunblane

Lovely appartment clean and well furnished ideal for walking or sight seeing in Stirling or Dunblane . Ideal location for travelling to larger cities such as Glasgow or Edinburgh . The pool is well kept and ideal for a daily swim especially in the hot weather and the children loved it

The owner was very helpful and arranged cleaning to fit in with our arrangements .

A week in Dunblane

My husband and I had a most enjoyable week recently in Dunblane, Scotland. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment away from the hustle and bustle of larger cities yet close enough to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh by train and central enough to drive around the surrounding area visiting the sights of Stirling, Falkirk and other places through beautiful countryside.

The apartment was very clean and well kept with all that we needed to make our stay very comfortable.
