Casa Luisa is an exceptional 2 bedroom villa, with a large Sun Room/Dining Room. It is located on the exclusive residential development of La Carabela. Beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a holiday to remember. For added comfort all of the bed linen and towels are Egyptian cotton. Both bedrooms have meshed covered shutters so that doors and windows can be left open at night. High vaulted ceilings in the lounge and master bedroom with stunning marble tiled floors throughout. A fully fitted modern kitchen has everything you would expect in your own home. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the large south facing terrace where you will find the electrically heated swimming pool. The garden is enclosed by high privacy walls. Free WiFi is installed. All BBC & ITV channels plus sky movies and sports delivered via the Internet not satellite.

This is a beautiful villa and we have had a fabulous week. We have enjoyed the garden and the lovely HEATED pool, it's been very sunny but quite windy this week but thanks to your clever wind break and the high walls all around it's always sheltered and very private. This was definitely the best of our 3 villas.

We will be back.

Everything you need for an wonderful holiday

We visited Casa Luisa for a week at the end of November 2016 to celebrate my 50th birthday. As it was a special occasion we were looking for something with a good specification and we weren't disappointed. The Villa looked very impressive in the photographs and so it proved to be. All areas of the villa were spotlessly clean on arrival and the property radiates a warmth that makes you feel at home straight away.

Internally the villa is very well equipped for a self catering holiday. As mentioned in many reviews, the Sky service and wifi are fast and reliable. While TV and internet arent the most important issues for us, its nice to be able to keep in touch if you need to. We could not fault the furnishings or decor in any way.

Outside the gardens are really attractive and well maintained. The heated pool was very pleasant and as mentioned elsewhere, the high walls mean the garden is very private.

We holiday in Playa Blanca at least once a year, usually in Autumn or Winter. We always choose properties with a fully enclosed dining area as the evenings can be cool. I think the dining / sun room at Casa Luisa was our favourite area in the villa. Its a lovely place to eat or relax on a evening.

La Carabela is only a short walk from the shops and restaurants on Faro Park. A gate gives easy access so there's no need to drive on a evening.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday immensely and I wouldn't be afraid to recommend the villa to anyone. We would certainly like to return in future.

Great villa, super location

We had a superb fortnight staying at the villa. It is ideally located within a five minute walk to a number of local restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We are locally a few times but mostly drove into Playa Blanca to eat but did head back for a drink or two at a local bar.

Directions to the villa were concise and easy to follow. The villa itself was really comfortable, nicely furnished. We used the wi fi a lot, which I add was fast and very reliable. The boys enjoyed watching tv early evening too. The heated pool was great, we would spend the mornings at the beautiful beach of Playa Dorada, parking is located near to the Hotel Playa Dorada; and enjoy lazy afternoons in the pool.

We visited the local water park, Aqua Lava, which was ideal for our boys aged 12 and 8. A trip around the Island was interesting, we visited a surfers bay and a number of fishing coves. Also a visit to the national park is very worthwhile, a tip here, go around 2pm when the morning coach trips have gone. We had no wait and the views here are spectacular.

We ate at a number of restaurants, both in Playa Blanca and locally and all were very good.

The island is lovely and has a "laid back" feel, we loved it and will most definitely return, booking this villa again. The owners, Russell and Sue, are so helpful and have a really lovely villa.

We would, and already have done so, recommend the villa to friends and family.

Quiet, secure, well found 2 bed villa - Thumbs up

We picked this villa due to several factors. high walls (its often windy here), price, and location.

From guest comments, clearly the owners follow up post any villa rental and change things if needed (rare in itself)

We always rent a 3 to 4 bed villa just in order to ensure that the rooms, equipment and pool are of the standard and size that we like, most 2 bed villas are very sparse with equipment and room sizes are small.

I can honestly say that the standard of size and fit out was impressive for a 2 bed, probably the best we've found in 15 years of villa rental.

We very seldom return to a property as not only there are things to improve, but we also like to move around. However it's very likely we will be in touch over the next year to see if we can book a return.

Say no more!!!!

Only minor point is that we never took pool towels and had to buy some, but on return home and making contact with the owner, they had plans to supply in future.

As owners we do try very hard to make sure we keep everything up to date and in good condition. Although we did not do to well with the supply of pool/beach towels in this case, so we have now made sure that pool/beach towels are supplied.

TRANQUIL HAVEN

We have just returned from a great 3 weeks at Casa Luisa. The Villa is nicely nestled in the middle of a development and is very peaceful and relaxing. The villa is surrounded by high walls that not only provide complete privacy but also protection from the wind. There is also a windbreak by the outside table and chairs and even in November meals could be comfortable eaten outside. The owners Russell & Sue were splendid to deal with and have created a place that felt like a loved home rather than a holiday let.

We liked it so much we have already booked again!

OUTSTANDING !!!

We have recently returned from Casa Luisa,after staying in many villas during the past 10 years of visiting Lanzarote. This IS the best. So much so that we immediately rebooked for the following year.

Casa Luisa is in a gated community,and with the large wall surrounding the villa you feel safe and not overlooked. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, upon our arrival we felt right at home straight away, paving the way for a very relaxing holiday. The nearby shops and restaurants catered for our requirements, and a ten minute drive into Playa Blanca and the nearby beaches added to our enjoyment.

We would thoroughly recommend this villa, but please leave a couple of weeks for us !

'A Jewel in Playa Blanca - Lanzarote'

We have recently returned from staying at Casa Luisa in Playa Blanca. Our holiday was just idyllic! We are regular visitors to Playa Blanca and have stayed at various villas in the area. Casa Luisa looked lovely on the Owners Direct website and once arriving, it certainly did not disappoint. The villa is to an exceptionally high standard and is a real 'home from home'. The villa is equipped with everything you require for your perfect, relaxing holiday. The décor and furnishings, together with the little finishing touches added to its charm. Local amenities are excellent, with superb restaurants and lovely beaches. We would recommend this villa without hesitation.

Coast/Beach:

The rugged coastline is only 10 minutes walk from our villa, this is an ideal spot to see the Atlantic waves crash in when it's windy and view spectacular sunsets. The nearest beach, Playa Flamingo, is about 3.5 kms away and can be reached either on foot or by car. Playa Blanca has three beaches, a small one right on the centre sea front with the other two (Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorado) a short distance away. A little way out of Playa Blanca there are the six beautiful Papagayo beaches which are 15 minutes drive from the villa. There is plenty of opportunity for safe swimming and snorkelling. Diving and water sports are also possible.

Travel:

Arrecife airport is 35 minutes drive away from our villa and we will send you detailed instructions telling you how to arrive at our villa from the airport. The use of a hire car is recommended as there is so much to see in Lanzarote and the roads are excellent to drive on. We would recommend hiring a car from the airport and can suggest a car hire company if you wish. If you want to you can use the local bus that runs between Playa Blanca and the local shops, just a 5 minute walk away.

Distances:

A few minutes walk away you will find a selection of shops, restaurants and a bakery where you can get freshly baked bread and pastry's. The 'Lighthouse Bar Cafe' serves home cooked British fayre, such as a full English breakfast, there are 3 other restaurants, an Italian, Spanish and International. There are two mini markets with all your essentials and UK papers.

  • Notes on accommodation: La Carabela has automatic security entrance gates which has enhanced the general entrance area to this villa complex, this is a quiet and peaceful location and is suitable for individuals, couples or families. The villa is managed by an English couple who live locally, they will be able to help you with any information or resolve any problems you may have during your stay. There is a cot and high chair provided at the villa, along with hair dryers in both bedrooms. Outside: The villa has its own private electrically heated (to 29 degrees) swimming pool set in a lovely tiled sun terrace with high privacy walls. The 8m x 4m pool is around 1.7m deep in the centre, access to the pool is via Roman steps. There is a solar pool cover which helps to warm the swimming pool. The pool is serviced twice a week to ensure that the water is always in peak condition and it has the benefit of underwater lighting to enhance your alfresco evening meal from the BBQ. The villa has 3 outside lights along with 2 more on the white section of garden wall. The covered part of the terrace, just outside the lounge, has an extending sunshade to provide shade for those long midday lunches. A wind break can also be lowered to provide a cosy corner for daytime or evening alfesco enjoyment. Sunbeds are provided along with high quality cushions. Car parking space is also provided. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron/ironing board, clothes dryer, cot and high chair. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, tea towels and bed linen are changed weekly. The pool is cleaned twice weekly. Other: Sun Room/Dining Room has a large table that can seat up to 8, in addition there is a leather sofa for day time relaxing. This room has sliding doors that lead out onto the patio area where the barbecue can be found.
