The St Bernard self-catering apartment is in a perfect location in the resort of Les Arcs 1800. It is situated on the piste so you can ski to and from the apartment. It is a short walk in to the centre of the village, or a 2 minute ride on the pedestrian-friendly lift which operates until late evening.

The apartment sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms and features a swimming pool, underground parking, free WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, UK television channels, film and TV collection, and a private ski locker just a few steps from the piste. There is a nearby bar/café, restaurant and ski hire shop and a wider range of shopping and apres-ski entertainment in the village centre. The apartment has amazing views of the Tarentaise valley and north to Mt Blanc. The resort is easily accessible with a choice of three airports, direct train service from London and Paris, or an easy drive from any of the Channel ports. With more than 450km of pistes it is one of the premier winter destinations in the French Alps.

I am ski instructor and I teach all year round in the UK and the Alps. The apartment is our family holiday home which is rented when we are not able to use it.

The apartment was chosen because it offers ski in/out access to one of the largest and most diverse ski domains in the world. The resort offers high altitude skiing so is snow sure, but also has a lot of tree-lined pistes in case the weather is bad. During the summer there is a wide range of activities on offer, including golf (our apartment is located 2 minutes walk from the 16th tee), mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking routes and many other things. The apartment is well specified, with a shared swimming pool, underground parking space, and secure ski locker in the ski service room. The apartment is furnished as our holiday home rather than a 'bog-standard' rental property. For transport it is easy to get there by plane, rail and car.

Bourg St Maurice train station has direct service from London and Paris, with convenient transfer options to Les Arcs, including taxi, coach and mountain funicular.

Approximately 9.5 hours driving time from Calais. The apartment includes free parking in a reserved space in the underground garage at the apartment building. This saves at least €85 that you would otherwise have to pay to park in the resort.

The apartment is located a couple of minutes walk to the nearest bar & café, restaurant and ski hire shop. For a wider choice there is a short but steep walk to the village centre, with range of shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, nightclubs and ski schools. There is also a free resort shuttle if you do not wish to walk, which runs every 20 minutes until late at night.

Booking Notes:
To confirm the booking a 20% deposit is required. Final balance of payment is required approximately 12 weeks before the date of travel.

The deposit and final balance is non-refundable in the event you cancel the booking, unless a replacement booking can made, in which case a full refund will be paid.

There is a 5% discount for "early-bird bookings". Book at pay in full by 31 August for the reduced rate.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. The apartment will be available from 4.30pm on arrival day. Check-out is no later than 10am on departure day.

  • Outside: The apartment has a private balcony with views to the north. There is a shared 25m heated indoor pool with large external terrace. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Rentals includes towels and linen and end-of-stay cleaning at no extra charge. Cot and high chair available at extra charge. Other: Private ski locker available in the ski service room, giving secure storage of skis, boards and boots. There is also a ski service room with a workbench if you bring your own servicing equipment.
