This 4 star apartment in Isola is newly built and tastefully decorated within a Spa and pool complex, perfect after a hard day's skiing in winter or following alpine pursuits in summer. It sleeps 4/6 with 1 double bedroom, a separate, bunk bed area and a sofa bed in the lounge. There are 2 bathrooms, additional loo and an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. There is a balcony, south facing, with stunning views of the mountains. The apartment is just 2 minutes walk to the centre of Isola 2000, a beautiful, southern Alps resort, boasting 300+ days a year of blue skies and sunshine plus 120km of high altitude skiing. During summer, the fresh mountain air and in-resort activities are a relief to the high temperatures and crowds at the coast. The apartment is on the 5th floor, corner plot of the building. The reception area is equipped with wireless broadband internet access and a laundry room. The ground floor also gives access to the indoor pool and Spa.
We have 2 properties in the Core D'Azur, one in Mandelieu, a coastal retreat and the other in Isola 2000 for skiing and summer alpine activities. We advertise both on Owners Direct and can also offer fabulous 2 centre holidays. As sisters, we bought apartment in Mandelieu 10 years ago in the pre-children, reckless era.
I live in Bath and my sister, Julia, in Weybridge. We used to sit together for days in the car, when in the early 80s, our parents used to tow the caravan from Huddersfield to the Cote D'Azur every summer, a form of slow torture for children until we were released into glorious sunshine. So, given the ease of now being able to jump on Easyjet to Nice, we did not look back.
The Isola 2000 property, I bought with my husband in 2009 as we love the resort and mountain air
Mrs Gillian Pears purchased this apartment in 2009
We've been skiing in Isola since 2002 and love the fact that it's pretty difficult to find Isola 2000 in the UK travel/ski brochures. The skiing, we think, is just as good as it is in many of the better known ski resorts we've been to in France and Italy over the years. But, we have found that in Isola, the quality of skiing, quieter slopes, 120km of pistes, lack of queuing at the lifts, sunshine, cheaper ski passes and lessons and good snow record, is unbeatable!
As well as being a fabulous place to ski in the winter, Isola 2000 is equally beautiful in the summer: there are walks, cycling and activities for children and adults, including an outdoor pool, resort run Crèche and Kids club which we have found to be excellent. We also think it's a bonus that in a day trip you can visit Nice
Fantastic views, modern facilities in a well equipped apartment and an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa, payable on use at reception.
We have found Isola to be a truly multinational resort. Plenty of Brits who live on the coast come to the resort regularly, as do Italians so ski instructors usually have very good language skills. It does however retain a French charm and feel.
"Fantastic weather and conditions here and enjoying very much your lovely apartment. By booking directly, we escaped a long and tedious wait at Reception. (I saw some people there for well over an hour and the queueing, which started before 16h00 was not absorbed until well after 19h00) and the apartment lived up to the photos."
Gaye Joyeau-Bourgeois: December 2012
"Je voulais vous remercier car nous avons passé un très bon week-end dans votre appartement qui était très agréable et très beau. Nous ne manquerons pas de vous recontacter si nous revenons sur Isola."

Owners were very helpful when booking and answered all our questions. On arrival their agent was helpful and suggested place to visit.
The property was well maintain, clean, safe and in excellent condition with plenty of room for a family of five. It was an excellent base to explore the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We would definitely recommend this property, we went in summer and there was plenty to do, however, if you are a winter sports fanatic then the property would be an ideal location for you as there are plenty of winter sports on offer for you.
Special interest holidays:
Cycling - our apartment is located at 2,200m altitude and has been rented by Professional Cyclists in Spring and Summer to successfully sleep and train at altitude. Mountain biking is also popular in Isola in the summer.

- The nearest airport is Cuneo in Italy where Ryanair fly.
- Nice airport is a 80 minute drive by car where many airlines including Easyjet, Jet2 and British Airways fly.

- A car isn't essential in the resort as the main facilities are within easy walking distance of the apartment.
Distances:
It is a 2 minute walk to the Resort complex for shops, bars, restaurants etc. The Italian border is a 5/10min drive away during the summer season, with the Italian market town of Cuneo only 50km away. 16km down from Isola 2000 is the pretty village of Isola, which has a large indoor swimming pool complex with chutes and slides. There are many small market towns to visit locally and explore the region.

There are plenty of restaurants at Isola 2000 which serve traditional Alpine food as well as international cuisine.
