A stunning, well equipped villa
We had a wonderful holiday in Albufeira, our first time here for 31 years.
We weren't so lucky with the weather but the villa was so cosy and well equipped we were able to pass the stormy spells in comfort and style.
The villa has everything you could need, (it's massive!) and it's a great location, central to most things, not far to go to get to old town or the strip, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby (taxis are reasonable and its close to a tourist train stop and bus stop). It's within a quiet gated community, the pool and garden are beautiful too.
Branca gave us the warmest welcome, showed us how things worked and pointed out a few things on the map for us (including the best coffee/cake shop- Pastelaria Riviera Inn). It was really clean throughout. Excellent communication with the friendly owners throughout our stay, they were quick to get back to us with any queries.
We do like to cook and found some of the utensils a little blunt/tricky to use (scissors, fiddly grater and peeler), but this is minor. The master bed is also a little hard but thats down to personal taste. I still slept well.
The villa is so spacious, comfortable sofas, sun loungers, the garden is a little sun trap and plenty of privacy, the bedroom had a balcony, and big tables to dine inside and out. It was much fancier than expected and so reasonably priced. We loved it and would definitely recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
