Our marina harbour apartment has been carefully and attractively equipped and amongst the home touches includes a flat screen TV and DVD player. French windows open out to the flowered walkway letting in the warm sunshine and there is also a small back private seating area with table and chairs to enjoy a morning coffee or a quiet bottle of wine. The location could not be more convenient as we are within strolling distance of the harbour and beach. Puerto Mogan, often referred to as "Little Venice", has been carefully designed with a maximum of three levels to maintain its unique and very pretty ambiance. Yachts from the world over are moored in its marina harbour behind which is the marina village, a charming network of walkways and canals overhung with colorful tropical flowers and plants. The resort is blessed with a glorious year round climate and is perfect for those seeking a peaceful sunny holiday at any time of the year.

Outside: There is a small outdoor seating area off the bedroom with a table and two chairs overlooking one of the leafy marina village courtyards where guests can enjoy a quiet drink or a coffee. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is once a week when there is also a full change of towels and linen.

Nice Location

The room was advertised with a balcony albeit shady - which we understood from the location. The balcony was, however, tiny and pretty much unusable - which could have been made clearer. The rooms themselves were well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. The front side Juliet window partially made up for the loss of balcony space - which wasn't mentioned in great detail from memory but was a plus. The rooms were clean, but cleaning is not daily. This I assume is one reason why we were asked to vacate by 10.00 am on the final day. Gratefully, we could negotiate to a normal leaving time of 12.00am which was appreciated - but really should come standard - or else cleaning should be arranged mid week as well as the end of each staying guest - in order to allow guests time to leave for flights etc. without rush.

In Puerto Mogan - accommodation in the older part of the town is difficult to come by - so that should be appreciated too.. The location of the room in terms of Puerto is in this respect ideal.

Great location-close to beach, harbour, and shops

Homely apartment, clean, with comfortable twin bedroom. Sofa bed in the lounge. No AC but ceiling fans in both rooms. Andrea arranged airport transfers and the driver kindly stopped at the supermarket for us on the way in. Books, games compendium, cards and dominoes provided, which was thoughtful. Suitable for older people as only 6 stairs to main entrance. Close to all amenities with some of the best rated restaurants just a few minutes away. Great market every Friday. Would recommend.

Very nice and comfortable holiday home

We loved this apartment. Excellent location, comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen was practical for making breakfast and snack, but the tools (knives, kettles, frying pans) could have been better value. The terrace was small, no sun at all, but it was suitable for two drinking wine and reading. Anyway we enjoyed our stay and recommend this lovely apartment for other travelers, too. Thanks, Andrea.

We must thank andrea for looking after us so well from collecting us at the airport to making sure we got collected for our return journey! The appartment was everything we hoped and in a great location for us. We had a fantastic holiday there and would certainly go back.

Puerto Mogan beach is less than two minutes walk away. It is a golden sandy beach with numerous sun loungers and sun umbrellas for hire and is perfect for year-round swimming and sunbathing and very safe for children of all ages. The promenade beside the beach has a number of excellent restaurants where visitors can enjoy tapas or main meals overlooking the water and soak up the relaxed atmosphere of this perfect holiday setting.


Gran Canaria's only airport is Las Palmas which is a 40 minute drive away. Car hire is not necessary when staying in Puerto Mogan as everything is within very easy walking distance. We would be delighted to arrange private direct airport transfers on behalf of our guests with one of our fully licensed drivers based in Las Palmas airport (cheaper and more convenient than taking a taxi)


Our apartment is right in the centre of the resort of Puerto Mogan. The town of Mogan is a fifteen minute taxi ride inland. Along the coast is Puerto Rico which is a twenty minute drive followed by Arguineguin about five minutes further on. The glass-bottomed ferry leaves Puerto Mogan harbour every half an hour and provides a very pleasant way of getting to the last mentioned resorts.

Further Details:

Puerto Mogan has a very good range of shops and boutiques. The main supermarkets are Spar and Hiperdino with fresh meat and charcuterie counters and freshly baked bread daily. There are a number of banks and cash points all around and approximately 80 restaurants to choose from, many with waterside locations. Numerous restaurants show UK sporting events and there are bars and cafés with occasional live music. For those who wish to bring their laptops there are a variety of venues with wifi access for the price of a beer or coffee. Leisure activities revolve around the water and include snorkeling, fishing, diving and boat trips including to areas where dolphins can be spotted. The yellow submarine is another attraction for lovers of marine life below the water.
