A beautiful luxury Algarvian Farmhouse with private pool and Tennis Court set in a peaceful hamlet near Moncarapacho. Only 5 minutes drive to Golf,, restaurants and local town with beaches only 20 minutes drive away. The house is fully equipped to a very high standard with 4 bedrooms/sleeping 8 ( 2 en-suites) bathroom and guest WC. Spacious Open Plan leaving area (air-con) with patio doors leading to the pool and large covered terrace for open air dining. Large open lawn area around pool with 8 sun loungers and Fat-boys and enclosed Trampoline. BBQ area with own sink. There is also a Cottage annex housing games room and extra bathroom, table-football, table-tennis, TV, DVD, tread-mill, drinks fridge and Sofas. Farmhouse is all on one level so good for children or persons with mobility problems. Roof terrace is fantastic for adults to escape and read or simply relax, with lovely views of surrounded country side and views of the sea and mountains.

Beautiful house with lovely facilities

We had a great family holiday at this lovely house. It felt like a home from home and had pretty much everything you could need for a great holiday. The swimming pool was great and the table tennis/table football/trampoline and array of garden games kept the children (and us) happy all week.

You do need a car as the house is a couple of kilometres from the local town - but it's only a few minutes to a reasonably good local supermarket and not too far to bigger ones in Olhao. The nearest town (Moncarapacho) has a few restaurants and there are plenty of other choices in Tavira which isn't too far away.

Would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful farmhouse with private garden

This was out 2nd visit to this wonderful farmhouse, it like our second home.

It has everything you could want or need, even beach towels.

The photos don't do the house justice it's stunning and the garden is lovely. Now with the added fun of the tennis court, which the whole family enjoyed.

You will definitely need a car to get about. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Wonderful house and grounds close to great town

My wife and I stayed here with two friends in June 2016 and couldn't have been more impressed!

The house has a lot of charm but also finished with all the home comforts you could hope for and was very clean (the oven was so shiny we were scared to use it!). It is really spacious with big bedrooms and a very large communal living, dining, kitchen area.

The grounds and pool are very well maintained and feel very private and have more equipment (loungers, pool toys, garden toys) than we've had in other villas we've stayed in.

The villa requires a car, it is off a track around 2-3km from the local town. The town, whilst quite small, had a great shop and numerous restaurants. We only had three nights out so we didn't get to try all of the food options but the ones we tried were all very friendly and served great quality food (which was ridiculously cheap!)

Overall we highly recommend the house, if anything, the pictures on here don't fully do it justice. Our only tip would be to make sure you know where you're heading before you leave as it takes a little searching to find it first time round.

Travel:

Car is essential for the house. Faro airport is 25 - 30 minutes on the A22

Distances:

Moncarapacho is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive. Here you will find banks, farmers market, bakery, chemist, restaurants and Cafe's. Moncarapacho is still a typical Algarvian town, unspoilt by development with a real Portuguese country flavour. Nearest big city is Olhao, with it's fish restaurants and ferries to the various Algarvian beach islands.

The roof terrace is an adults paradise with wonderful views of the surrounded orange groves and the sea to the south and mountains to the north. Outside: Large 1/2 acre fully fenced garden with lawn area and orchard makes the property ideal for families with children. Private pool 11 x 4.5 with slide. 8 sun loungers and Fat-boys for lazy days, with an out-door shower to wash-away sandy feet or just to cool down. Enclosed trampoline in lawn area. Covered terrace for dining and BBQ with built in sink - hot/cold running water. Pool towels are supplied. Cottage annex acts has games room with extra TV and DVD, en-suite for children/adults to play during mid-day sun. Utility Room: Cottage annex games room, houses the washing machine and Tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly cleaning, with 2 towel changes per week and 1 linen change per week. All bed-linen and bathroom towels are provided as well as pool and beach towels. Kitchen tea-towels also provided.
