Perched on the upper, medieval part of this Provencal town with a rich heritage and a prestigious past, it is just a walk away from the lower part and lively center of Vaison-la-Romaine, a town set in the heart of lush, fertile countryside famous for its wine-making. The house, tastefully decorated in a style combining Provencal furniture with Mediterranean touches, is as welcoming in the summer as in the winter. On the ground floor, a spacious living-room with a convertible sofa, a fire-place, a dining-room seating 6 to 8 people. Adjoining, are a half bathroom, and a separate, fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a quaint balcony. On the second floor, two bedrooms. On the top floor, an attic room, with a futon, opens onto a roof terrace with a view on the upper part of the Medieval city and the Castle ruins. From the living-room a vaulted cellar with stone walls can be accessed, reminiscent of medieval times and especially arranged for tasting the renowned wines of the region.
