Detached Luxury Villa With Private Pool

Spacious 5 bedroom/4 bathroom villa, with private pool, furnished sun terraces, WIFI & satellite TV situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains and National Park. Our villa is located in a private residential area 2 km outside the unspoilt Spanish town of Padul and 15 minutes from the beautiful historic City of Granada. Santa Clara golf course is just 5 minutes away and the surrounding area also gives access to the beaches of the Costa Tropical, the mountain villages of the Alpujarras and the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada (35 minutes drive). The house has 3 floors plus underground car parking. On the ground floor: spacious lounge with access to the terrace and outdoor dining, a modern fully fitted kitchen and laundry room, twin bedroom and full bathroom. On the first floor: 3 double bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one en-suite). Access to the third floor via a spiral staircase: large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, also includes a double futon bed/settee.

What a Villa! Worth every penny

Wow, where to begin. We were a party of 5, meant to be 6 but that changed last minute. We booked the larger villa this trip to give everyone enough space if needed. This Villa is huge, the rooms are spacious and can easily sleep 12 people, maybe more. The villa was spotless when we arrived, Ruth the property manager met us there as arranged, what a lovely lady, so helpful, answered all our questions and when a family member took ill on holiday, Ruth was on hand to help also. The pool cleaners and the Gardner were also really nice. The Gardner knew so much local knowledge, gave great recommendations of places to visit and local areas. The pool was ample and plenty sunbeds. The garage equipt with games, table-tennis, football and darts was fantastic for our older kids, especially when it got a bit windy up on the varander. Very very comfy beds, great nights sleep all round. The villa is in a gated community and there is always someone in the entrance to let you in or out. We would 100% stay here again and we have stayed in many villas in the Granada region, this was by far the best. The owners should be proud of their gorgeous home and we thank them for allowing us to enjoy it. We hope to be back again soon.

Really nice property with not much to say in terms of any negativity. The house and pool were really clean and the location was as described. Not much in the immediate area and everything is a car drive away. Only a couple of snags that some of the loungers are in need of some tlc, the umbrella stand needs replacing as finding some shade was difficult without it and the fridge needs a bit of persuading to get it fully closed which is why we presume there was a bit of a smell to it. Definitely child friendly but not toddler friendly, especially with the water feature in the living room dropping down a flight of stairs. We would definitely recommend this villa, so many more positives than negatives!

Amazing Villa!

We are a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. We had a great time here. The villa is well designed with plenty of space indoors and balconies to eat on. We loved the swimming pool, table tennis and table football. The BBQ was great. It was 38 degrees this week and the air conditioning was appreciated. The WiFi is good and can be accessed throughout the property.....and by the pool! Great views of the mountains and sunsets! There are good shops in the next town for food shopping. We travelled to Cordoba, Granada, Seville and into the mountains. We would highly recommend. One of the best villas we have rented!!

Great little find

We are a family of 11 from 14 upwards, the villa was very big and accommodated us all comfortably. The pool area was brilliant lots of sun beds for our relaxing days round the pool. The teenagers and dads loved the table tennis and dart board and spent hours playing tournaments against each other. The villa was very well equipped and all rooms were comfortable the only problem we had was not enough hot water for everyone to shower in the evening before going out, so a couple of chilly showers which wasn’t great. Lots of lovely eating areas which are shady which we really appreciated at lunch time. We hired cars which is a must and visited two water parks which was brilliant fun for all the family. Granada is a great place to visit especially in the evenings with plenty of places to eat, we also visited Sierra nervada shopping centre which is pretty impressive with free parking, lots of shops and great restaurants. The supermarkets are just 10mins down the road and had everything we needed ( Lidl was the best ) Polly the pool lady and the gardener was really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about the area. Overall the villa was amazing and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Rob & Becky for renting out your stunning villa we all had a great holiday 🌞

Beautiful home in the best location

Dear Rob and Becky We really appreciate your efforts in making our stay at your home a real pleasure This place is safe and secure as has a gated entrance with security on entry and exit of the estate which has play areas for kids and some nice walks Was well presented and we’re greeted by the staff who speak English which was a bonus A perfect location as near to all motorways and only 15 miniutes from Granada and a mere 45 miniutes from Sierra Nevada and for this side of Spain was lovely to come home to a peaceful home We were 2 families of 6 and the kids kept themselves busy running around like kids do and had adequate entertainment with no issues at all The house itself is well laid out and had a underground car park as well We would certainly stat again and would recommend anyone who was planning to visit Andalusia is a far better alternative than the Albanian ( Arabian Quarter ) as vehicles are a no go for those areas which makes having a car difficult to say the least as we realised on visiting The Grand Alhambra Palace was sublime and only 20 miniutes away Once again Rob and Becky we thank you for your efforts and would certainly stay again should the opportunity arise Left it nice and clean for you :) Best Regards for the future Shahid and Co’

We purchased our villa from new and were drawn to this area because it feels typically Spanish, is situated in beautiful countryside and yet is still just 10 minutes from Granada with it's wealth of history.
Also as a golf lover I can play 18 holes at Santa Clara in the morning and be back relaxing by the pool in time for lunch!
