Free WiFi, Internet TV, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, ample storage, free off street parking, two minutes from train station (nine minutes to Victoria and London Bridge, 25 minutes to London St Pancras International), five minutes from Kings College and Maudsley Hospitals and the Institute of Psychiatry. Buses to the West End outside the property. Train station two minutes away. Outside: Free off street parking. Outstanding Apartment in London

The apartment was perfect for our family. It had everything in it that we needed or wanted, plus some lovely extras like fresh, healthy food stocked in the kitchen for us. It's an easy walk to the apartment from the train station, or there are buses right outside the front door. Stephanie was extremely helpful with directions, restaurant suggestions, and information about all aspects of London, and responded to my e-mails prior to our stay very quickly.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment in Camberwell, Southwark section of London.

This apartment is in a wonderful neighborhood in South London, just 2 blocks or so from the Denmark Hill National Rail station. The owner, who lives downstairs, welcomed us with start-up groceries including organic whole grain bread, English cheddar cheese, butter, fresh fruit, coffee, milk, juice. Not only groceries, but also food for the spirit: fresh flowers, and beautiful art work on the walls of the apartment. The beds were quite comfortable, and the efficiency kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils.

The living room, kitchen and one bathroom are on the second floor, and the two bedrooms and the other bathroom are upstairs on the 3rd floor. The apartment would not be easily accessed by someone with limited mobility.

Our hostess also helped us with local restaurant and grocery shopping recommendations as well as public transit information and options.

There's a bus stop just in front of the building, and a convenience store, two restaurants and a pub next door.

Our hostess also provided wifi internet access, and even a printer connected to a tablet so that we could print out tickets to London tourist spots, making our visit even more home-like.

We would definitely recommend this place to others, and would book again if we were to return to London.

Great location, super comfortable flat!

I stayed in the flat with my husband and our kids, high school and college. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Stephanie is a wonderful host, and even got up in the night to help us with an illness. She went ABOVE and beyond to make our stay great. She is available all the time to help you plan your day, your route, and how to make the most of every minute. The bus stops right outside the flat so it is very easy to get to all the things you want to experience in London. There is a great convenience store next door and a large grocery store just around the corner. We loved having coffee and breakfast each morning in the flat before heading out. It is a great place to stay for a family. We are so thankful to Stephanie for all the extra touches and TLC she gave us.

Well appointed flat and good connections to the Center of London and beyond

I have stayed in many flats and homes around the world and Stephanie's flat is a little jewel. She is very helpful from the onset with all kinds of information on public transportation, restaurants and tips. She welcomed us to her flat with all the ingredients for a hearty breakfast, and more. She provided us with fresh flowers every week, a very nice touch considering we are in full winter. The flat was very clean and tidy. Fresh linens were provided every week and a housekeeper came to clean on Friday. I recommend this flat wholeheartedly.

Great London location

Superb apartement, very nicely equipped, comfortable, pretty interior, two cosy bedrooms.Excellent kitchen and living room. Everything was very clean. Stephanie received us late in the evening as we had a late journey from the Dover ferry. It was very convenient to park on the premisses. Stephanie had filled up the refrigerator with milk, eggs, butter, oranges etc. There were plenty of fruits, tea and coffee, so we had everything we needed for a relaxing breakfast the next morning. Would certainly come back, and recommend this great London location with good access to the centre of London.

This was our first experience of holidaylettings. Are they all this good? We'll certainly be coming back.

Our host Stephanie was warm and met us on arrival. She took us through the very well-equipped apartment and showed us how everything worked. She also provided us with maps and Oyster cards for our stay as well as a personally prepared written guide to the area with restaurant and transport tips. Stephanie's two level/bedroom/bathroom flat was very comfortable and sunny

and contained all the facilities we needed. It is modern and beautifully decorated (white walls and white furniture coverings) including works of art by Stephanie's late father-in-law, a distinguished artist. Added to this, Stephanie herself, who lives in the flat below, makes sure you are welcome and well looked after throughout your stay. The flat is professionally cleaned weekly and sheets and towels changed. She even provides flowers and keeps them fresh! You will find yourself in a block including a general store and launderette. Transport is excellent: the flat is within a hundred meters or so from bus and train stops (one is practically at the doorstep). Buses go to three different parts of the city and the nearby Denmark Hill overground can get you to Victoria in under 10 minutes. One of the buses is a 24 hour service. A large Sainsbury's supermarket is a walk away and vibrant East Dulwich and Peckham villages can be reached on foot or by bus. We will stay again and you too will not regret staying here for your sojourn in London.

Three miles south of the Thames River and the South Bank, one mile to East Dulwich, 500 meters to Kings College Hospital, The Maudsley Hospital and The Institute of Psychiatry, 200 meters to train station with fast trains to the West End, the City and St Pancras International.

Further Details:

Huge Sainsburys supermarket a quarter of a mile away, laundrette and convenience store, restaurant and pub adjacent, plethora of dining options within half a mile. Greenwich, with it's fabulous market, The Cutty Sark, The Royal Observatory, The National Maritime Museum, Greenwich Park (Olympic Equestrian site), great historical pubs on the Thames, The 02 Arena - all only half an hour away by train. Ditto Eltham Palace where King Henry VIII played in the great medieval hall as a young prince, and where in the 1930's Sir Stephen Courtauld and his wife Virginia built a state of the art Art Deco house with glorious gardens and the surviving moat. Chic East Dulwich is just down the road with many independent shops, restaurants and bars, and a lovely Saturday street market. And central London only 10 minutes away by train, half an hour by bus which stops outside the door, and takes you across Waterloo Bridge for the best views in London.

Damages Deposit:
Will be returned in full upon departure if no mishaps. I am not concerned if the odd dish or glass gets broken, it is only in the event of a catastrophe.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
