Myself and My wife have been visiting La Cala de Mijas in Spain for the majority of our lives and love it hence why we have this apartment as this quaint village just simply has everything to offer the holiday maker.

Why David Grasby chose Mijas area

We have been holidaying in this village with our children who are now both grown up, since they were born and have returned every summer as we loved it so much. It simply has all amenities that you need in order to not even have to leave the village if you wish not to, however is close enough to other places and towns of interest if you require a more active holiday.

The beaches are lovely and the village has a really family vibe about it as the people who live there have been there so long there is a real sense of community

The beach is only a two minute walk away. A car is not necessary to reach the beach.

Travel:

Malaga airport is only 20 minutes away in car and all forms of public transport are on hand to and from the airport.

Distances:

It is centrally located in La Cala de Mijas itself which is full of all amenities you could need...but if you prefer a larger town Fuengirola is only 5 minutes drive in the car or the world famous Marbella/Puerto Banus is 20 minutes drive.
