'We have had such a wonderful time. The cottage is lovely - it feels very comfortable and homely. The kids have had a great time enjoying the outdoors, paddling in the streams and generally having fun. Thank you Michael & Fiona for being such wonderful hosts.'

Paul & Nicci, April 2014

'We had a lovely stay at the cottage. We found it to be clean and well equipped for our short break. The location is very tranquil with lots of lovely places to visit nearby and there was so much for the children to do. It really was a special family holiday.'

Beautyful, very cosy place to stay; well equipped; lots of comfort even when the weather is not thàt fine. Walkers paradise straight from the doorstep; very kind owners next door; lots of privacy. Pretty places to visit nearby as lovely beaches as wel.

Lovely "Little Orchard"

  • 5 of 5

Again we had a wonderful time in this little cottage with enough space for our three children and us. The landscape is really great, our trips to Honiton or to the dartmoor were phantastic, and it was very nice to talk to our hosts, Fiona an Michael! The children loved the friendly animals, and even the weather was fine! We will come back! Uli & Angelika

Great cottage, good size and layout, tastefully furnished, idyllic spot.

  • 5 of 5

Photos on website don't do justice to the cottage, which is very lovely. Great layout, nice big kitchen, cosy living room overlooking the ponies, comfy beds, beautifully green spot - river walk lovely in both directions just out of the gate, graat beaches at Beer and Branscombe nearby.

Charming and peaceful countryside Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is spacious and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need. But above all, there is plenty of rest. The owners are very nice and helpful. We loved sitting in front of the fireplace or having breakfast outside in the Garden while watching the horses and ducks. We would love to come back!

Perfect cottage in an idyllic location, great for a relaxing break

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a relaxing long weekend away and we weren't at all disappointed, our two dogs visited with us and had a ball.

We had a lovely warm welcome from everyone including the horses and chickens.

The location is excellent to visit numerous coastal areas in not too much time at all, we really enjoyed our strolls around Lyme Regis and Sidmouth.

Definitely planning a return trip one day.
