Just returned from a very relaxing holiday in this comfortable and well equipped apartment .The booking process was easy and the owners instructions on how to get there ,excellent. We loved relaxing in the spacious outside terrace and hardly used the lounge! The quiet complex is very well maintained, and the swimming pool great. Lots of info about local places to visit. Very handy to excellent local shops, and various restaurants, several of which are authentic Cypriot Tavernas.The beaches at Coral Bay and Corallia are within a 10 min drive.We hope to return and will certainly recommend it to our friends. J.Hobbs: Fantastic apartment-had everything you could want for your stay- so you have the choice of staying in as well as going out to eat. Really peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views from the balcony. Local shops only a few minutes walk away- great bakers! The beach is only a few minutes drive too. Would highly recommend it and would definately go again!!

Notes on accommodation: Furnished with style and quality this luxury penthouse apartment has a light airy feel as both master bedroom and living room open onto a huge private balcony overlooking the beautiful open countryside. Both bedrooms and living area are fully air-conditioned by remote control. In cooler months heating is also available. Water heating by solar power or by immersion means that hot water is available all year round.For your security and peace of mind a safe has been fitted into the property. Cot and highchair are available please ask. Guest information folder available in the apartment to help you get your bearings quickly and start enjoying your holiday immediately when you arrive. Outside: The huge (7m x 4.5m) balcony enjoys direct sun from early morning until afternoon but also provides shade during the hottest part of the day. The balcony is comfortably furnished with twin cushioned rattan armchairs,a sofa and coffee table ,twin sun loungers with accompanying side table, a dining table, 4 chairs and a parasol to keep you cool in the shade! You can read, sunbathe and dine alfresco whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Cypriot countryside. A perfect place to relax and unwind. The communal areas are beautifully landscaped with well maintained gardens. The large pool and 0.5m children's pool are immaculately clean and open onto the open country-side. There are poolside changing rooms, showers and wc. A sauna and gym with running machine, bicycle and weights is also available for use. Utility Room: Equipment such as iron,ironing board, 2 clothes dryers, mop and bucket, brush and dustpan, fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are all provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and all bath, hand and tea towels are included. Cleaning and change of towels and linen can be arranged during your stay at a small additional cost.

Well equipped top floor apartment - great base for the region

Pretty spacious apartment with excellent terrace overlooking countryside.Situated well off Coral Beach (3km) and 1km from Pegia. It was very quiet in October - only perhaps three other groups there in whole apartment block. Pegia's great - Cypriot food, bakeries, small supermarket - but the bars and restaurants around the apartment area are nothing to write home about - very British. Can't say that Cyprus is really picturesque but some great views as you drive (or run) up into the hills behind Pegia.

Fantastic apartment

This is our second year in a row visiting this apartment and it was as good as last year. The apartment inside has everything you could need and the outside area and view is fantastic. We had such a lovely relaxing holiday. The village peyia is nice as well and within walking distance. The bakery is fantastic and such good value. We would certainly want to return here. Karen the owner is also excellent on answering any questions you may have and to sort any concerns you may have at the apartment.

The villa is needing some up dates with outside furniture and air conditioning

The weather was fantastic it was a great pity that the air conditioning was not working when we got there. When the representative came the next day she was no help and said we had to phone Lisa we did this. Then the day after it was fixed, until the last two days when the same thing happened only this time no one got in touch after it was reported so no air conditioning not very comfortable in that kind of heat. The sun beds on the rooftop terrace were both broken two of the dining chairs on the terrace were also broken. You couldn't lie around the pool area as there were no beds for our villa two foldable beds to carry down would have been great. The villa inside has everything in you could possibly need and plenty of towels for your use. Just a shame about the rooftop balcony and the air conditioning. If this was sorted it would be great ills for a holiday but not as it is.

I understand that has been now fixed . Regarding the broken sun beds and outside chairs. We as owners were not aware there had been a problem with them and will be asking our property manager to address these problems immediately . Nice apartment, conveniently placed

A nice apartment in Peyia, fully equipped and conveniently placed for local shops (a wonderful bakery), Coral bay, the spectacular Akamas peninsula, the local wine villages and the city of Paphos. Breakfast with a wonderful view from the balcony in the morning. As this was a winter break, the holiday complex was rather deserted and temperatures were lower that the BBC predictions, with snow in the hills nearby. We appreciated the blown air heating in the flat, but unfortunately we could not use the pool as it was not heated. Good WiFi connection. The satellite TV had hundreds of Arabic language channels, so apart from CNN and BBC world not much use maybe tune it to a European satellite?

lovely flat with large balcony overlooking pool and beautiful Cyprus countryside

the 2 bed flat is situated in a quiet location in SE Pegeia, overlooking a small valley and the countryside beyond. it is only a short walk to the shops and restaurants / bars. A Bakery and a health centre. It is a clean and well arranged flat with WiFi, and there is always someone on call if there is a small problem.

There are a/c in every room which provide warmth in the winter season mornings aswell as cooling as they were originally meant to.

Plenty of spare sheets and towels are provided

the balcony is large and partially shaded, and is bathed in morning sunshine. just right for a relaxing breakfast.

the pool is a flight of stairs away, but in November i didn't opt to try it.....

The centre of Pegeia itself is a little further uphill - probably a 10 minute walk, but who's counting time in such lovely surroundings?

buses to / from Coral bay run occasionally, but at 3km distance is not an arduous one. And from Coral Bay to Paphos there is a very regular bus service which runs until late in the evening. Coral Bay, of course, is probably the best beach in Cyprus and clean and well kept.

If you have a vehicle, then other delights of the Akamas peninsular are available as are the tavernas and wineries further inland. And you can soon discover the enchanting Troodos Mountains. A word of advice about sat navs though, they can lead you up tracks for which standard cars are not really designed for. F-class roads can sometimes be reasonable or sometimes unsurfaced. And the sat nav we had could not cope with the new roads being put in around the centre of Paphos. Generally the main roads are very good, and the drivers polite and helpful.

Location

Coast/Beach:

The blue flag beach of Coral Bay is only 5 minutes drive away. It has a gentle gradient and is very sandy, ideal for paddling or leisurely swimming. Many water sports can be enjoyed here from pedalos to jet skis. Several beach bars are on site which provide both shower and toilet facilities. Sun bed hire is also available.

Travel:

Paphos airport is a 30 minute drive from the apartment.Transfer from Paphos airport to our apartment can be arranged for 30 Euros. Larnaca airport is 1.5 hours drive. The journey is longer but easy (mostly motorway). We recommend you hire a car to get the most out of your stay i.e sightseeing etc although amenities are only 5 minutes away. Please note it is easy to drive in Cyprus as you drive on the same side of the road as in the UK and all road signs are in English as well as Greek.

Distances:

5 min walk - Bakery, supermarket, chemist, post-office, bank, bar, restaurant, newsagents. 2 min drive- Peyia, A traditional village, perched upon the hillside overlooking Coral Bay. At its center sits an old church in a cobbled square, its narrow streets are filled with old and interesting stone houses. A relaxed and friendly feel permeates from many local tavernas, bars and cosmopolitan restaurants. With a wide range of shops and amenities even a quiet night in with a takeaway can be arranged.

Coral Bay- 5 min. A safe and sandy blue flag beach where all kinds of water sports are available. Other resort amenities include crazy golf, pitch and putt, go-carting, quad bikes, sand buggies and horse riding.

Paphos Animal Park-10 min. Boasts an array of exotic birds, animals, touch farm, restaurant, parrot and owl show.

Agios Georgios-10 min. An enchanting fishing harbor overlooked by a classical Cypriot church and open air restaurant. Have a delicious meal and enjoy one of the most spectacular views on the island. Just beyond it is a lovely secluded beach.

Akamas National Park-15 min. An area of great natural beauty which encompasses Lara Beach home to hundreds of Loggerhead turtles who return each year to lay and hatch their eggs. It has spectacular sea views.

Adonis Baths and Waterfalls-20 min. A beautiful location steeped in history. According to Greek mythology Adonis and Aphrodite spent much of their time here.

Tomb of the Kings-20 min. A system of Roman caves and rock-tomb complexes.

Paphos-20 min. A UNESCO World Heritage Site with many places of historical/archaeological interest e.g the roman mosaics, the catacombs, a majestic medieval castle. A vibrant shopping town with a picturesque harbor lined with bars and restaurants.

Aphrodite's Water Park-25 min. On the eastern side of Paphos, a fun place for the whole family with a large selection of rides, slides and pools.

Latchi/Polis area- 35mins. A picturesque seaside town on the northern coast overlooked by mountains. Dine out in one of the many wonderful restaurants overlooking the marina.

Rock of Aphrodite-35mins. Just beyond Paphos to the east. A beauty spot where Aphrodite the goddess of love came ashore.

Troodos Mountains-60mins. Snow-capped in winter and early spring .The waterfalls, mountain villages and monasteries hidden in the forests of pine and cedar provide a oasis of coolness, calmness and utter tranquility.

Changeover Day:
Flexible changeover day. Earliest arrival time is 2pm and latest departure time is 10am. (It may be possible to extend check out time if apartment is not being used by new guests but there may be a charge for this depending on time).

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discount for booking exceeding 2 week duration. A quote will be given on request. Long term winter lets will be considered.
