We live in West Oxfordshire close to the Cotswold town of Witney. I am a site manager with a construction company specialising in Carehome builds. My wife works part time. She is a keen watercolour artist and has an interest in interior design. I play bass guitar in a local rock band. We have grown up children.

We had a lovely week thank you. Your apartment is absolutely gorgeous, my husband has got the right hump, I’ve come home with ideas on new bathroom, kitchen…………



We packed so much in, we went to westward ho beach 3 times, had two glorious days of sunshine. I swam for the first time in british waters for 20 years!



We went to the Milky Way & the big sheep and had far too many cream teas & fish & chip suppers (back to gym for me!)



But the thing the kids loved the most was crabbing! We spent hours perched over the waters edge with our bucket & bait!



Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven, we had a lovely week, my faith in a British holiday is back!

We had a lovely week in this beautiful apartment. It is modern and clean yet still has its own character. The apartment has everything we needed, very well equipped. We fell in love with Appledore itself, a quaint, little town with lots of little streets to explore. Would love to return, to Appledore and this accommodation!

An excellent holiday property well equiped and beautifully furnished in the delightful village of Appledore. The second floor apartment (no lift) is within a short walk to shops and restaurants. No available parking space outside the property but a there is a car park close by charging ?3 for 24hours.

We love Appledore with its relaxed atmosphere,friendly locals,good pubs,all offering great food and above all the fantastic live bands who can be seen every night in several of the pubs. There are also excellent restaurants along the quay and several nearby catering for all tastes. There really is something for everyone here with many attractions including Tarka Trail,The Big Sheep, Lundy Island boat trips and picturesque walks across The Burrows to Westward Ho!, all within easy reach. Appledore is 3 miles from Bideford and the A39 trunk road which access Cornwall to the west and Barnstable and M5 to the east.

Contemporary, impeccably presented 2 bedroom apartment in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore. Estuary views, just a short walk from the quayside and amenities including local deli and post office,newsagent,various pubs, cafés and art galleries. Top Sails is a superb 2 bedroom apartment with a light,airy and modern feel. It has high quality finishes including controlled mood lighting,luxurious kitchen and bathroom. On the opposite side of the river is the renowned village of Instow which has a further range of amenities and beautiful beaches. In the summer months a small ferry boat will take you across or else it is a short drive. Children will love crabbing or fishing off the quay or slipways.
