Apartment in Windsor, Berkshire, England - Attractive One Bedroom Flat In The Windsor 'Golden Triangle ', 5 Minutes From The Castle

This beautifully appointed one bedroom flat comes with all amenities and a parking space, rare in Windsor center. With the town center a mere 5 minute walk, you have on your doorstep, Windsor Castle, the theater, 2 rail stations and the buzz of Royal Windsor. The contrast of Windsor Great Park, the tree lined Long Walk, great restaurants, St Georges Chapel, Eton, Savill Gardens, Legoland and immediate connections to Heathrow and motorways provide the opportunity of a wonderful holiday. Kings Road is best described by the attached photos and offers elegant living. We have one double bedroom and a further bed by arrangement. The kitchen is bright and has modern appliances. There is a lovely eating area and a refurbished bathroom/shower. No smoking zone and we prefer not to have pets.

About the Owner

My wife and I live in Kings Road, Windsor and additionally own 22 Kings Road .

We have got to know Windsor very well and love living here . We use and enjoy all the local amenities and have connections with Windsor Castle, St Georges Chapel and the Windsor Festival. We have just bought the property , have refurbished it and use it both privately and for holiday rentals . We are close at hand to advise and help holidaymakers and aim to create an opportunity for a wonderful break in this beautiful and historic location .

Exceptional stay

We couldn't have asked for a better place in Windsor!

The flat is even better than the pictures show; it is immaculate and was a perfect home away from home for our small family of 3. (We were provided a fold-up rollaway bed that was perfect for our 4-year old girl.) We were given a gracious welcome by the landlord, Chris, when we arrived, who showed us around the flat and made himself available for any questions or help. We were very appreciative for the milk and wine that he had ready for us in the fridge! There was also a healthy supply of tea and coffee, among other things, to get us going.

Shower worked great, bed was super comfortable, the WiFi was excellent. All the appliances were in perfect working order, and it was lovely to be able to use the drier after inadvertently getting drenched on a rainy day!

To boot, Chris' flat is located a few minutes walk from Windsor Castle, and the many shops and restaurants in the centre of town. Great parking space right behind the flat (parking in Windsor can be costly), and a bus stop a few steps up the road for easy access to the local area, including Legoland.

I'd highly recommend staying here while in Windsor, and we hope to return sometime soon! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Lovely flat in Windsor with parking space

We have just returned from staying in this lovely flat in Windsor. The flat was exactly as described and was in a great location within minutes from the Castle and the Long Walk, it was furnished to a very high standard and very clean and comfortable. Booking was made very easy and the owners were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The parking space was off road behind the flat which was a great bonus point. We found it easy to walk to the station and went into London by train which took 1 hour to Waterloo Station which was very central for sightseeing. I would highly recommend staying in this flat to anyone wishing to visit Windsor.

WONDERFUL apartment in great town!

I have rented quite a number of apartments/houses all over Europe, but this is one of the most delightful! It is lovingly maintained and impeccably clean--cleanest I've ever stayed in! It looks just like the photos except that the kitchen is even better--beautifully renovated, perfectly stocked, better than most of our own kitchens at home. The bedroom was beautiful...the parking spot a big plus...and the location cannot be beaten. The bathroom is lovely, the lighting throughout is modern and beautiful...it really is wonderful in every way. It is directly across from The Long Walk, a magical walk up to Windsor Castle...and if you go the other way you get to the deer park--I was caught in a "traffic jam" of 300+ deer crossing the road not 20 feet in front of me. It was unbelievable! Wonderful daily walks all through Windsor and across the bridge to Eton--an equally charming town. And nightly Evensong in the chapel in Windsor Castle is a magical must--stunningly beautiful church, most glorious singing I've ever heard--a truly British experience, and one that should not be missed! The owners were delightful to work with, helpful in every way--I truly cannot say enough about this place. If you're going to Windsor, you must stay here!!

Number 22 is just a 5 minute walk from the center of Windsor. Windsor is uniquely beautiful and full of British history . Set in the middle of Windsor Great Park living here feels like being in the country ! The town has lots of great amenities including the famous Castle, St Georges Chapel, Windsor Great Park, wonderful restaurants, a theater and over the bridge across the Thames, Eton . With Legoland , Saville Gardens, Wisley all close by the town is brilliantly served by trains to London and is close to Heathrow airport and the M4 and 25 motorways .

Great location for accessing railways and motorways.

Heathrow is 20 minutes away. M4 5 minutes drive, M25 10 minutes drive.

Transport links from Windsor are excellent by train to London (2 options / walkable stations to Paddington or Waterloo.) Buses also to London and Legoland.

Central London 25 miles.
