About Helen Allen

My sister and I own our penthouse apartment and have owned this since 2003. As soon as we saw it we loved it and the large private roof terrace sold it to us! We have enjoyed many holidays and short breaks there. We have regularly rented it out and have been very pleased by the number of repeat bookings and great reviews.

Why Helen Allen chose Cartagena & Mar Menor

After watching A Place in the Sun we decided to go on a 3 day trip along the Costa Calida coast and found that Los Alcazares was our favourite place. Beautiful beach, bars and restaurants close by and 10 minutes drive from the airport.

What makes this apartment unique

You do not need a car to have a relaxing holiday. Everything is within walking distance. Fully fitted kitchen complements the bbq on the roof terrace and even cooking/eating in on holiday has been fun.

we had a lovely time - we were visiting my wife's father who lives there now.

The apartment was great, we loved the roof top terrace and it had everything we needed. It was good having 2 bathrooms.

What an ideal and lovely apartment. We had a great time, especially once we found the spanish eateries.

We were a bit unsure about renting a top floor apartment but having use of the sun terrace/ sun roof was so good and it helped making the holiday so enjoyable.

I would recommend your apartment to anyone wanting a safe friendly holiday environment.

Lovely stay at No 91

Stayed for 7 nights after visiting friends in Albox Almeria. a lovely 2 bed appartment with everything you could possibly need for a holiday stay. A short walk from either the 'strip' with an array of spanish and english bars and international restaurants. If you need a little more spanish just walk south and you're there. The beach is also very nice.

The gated complex is so quiet and the airport less than 10 minutes by car away.

Hoping to get back to Los Alcazares next year and hopefull in no 91.

Wonderful holiday

Terrific apartment in a 2 pool development.The communal areas and the pools are kept very clean and tidy as was the apartment. It is very well equipped and has everything you need to make your stay really comfortable, we loved the roof terrace. It is only a ten minute walk to the beach and promenade. It is a great location just minutes from some really good restaurants and bars. Helen the owner was very professional and a pleasure to deal with and even arranged our transfers. We had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely return to this apartment and will recommend to my friends and family.

Perfect Location/Perfect Accomodation

Our holiday was made much better by the ideal location of this apartment. Very close to pubs, restaurant, shops and beaches. The El Divino complex itself is clean, secure and pool areas are great.

91 El Divino had everything we needed for our stay and we will be booking again for next year.

Great apartment in great location

Property is very well well equipped , especially for families as its very big.

Lovely balcony and the roof solarium is very useful.

Its located near shops and restaurants, 5 minute walk and a further 5 minutes to the beach.

Dealing with Helen was a pleasure, very helpful and great customer service.

I paid for airport transfer which was very efficient and a fair price.

I would highly recommend renting this apartment.

Great stay close to all amenitys clean and safe

Lovely place central comfortable gated and lovely pool with lifeguard till 10 at night .only 1 drawback the barbecue not a clue what to do with it so didn't use .thankyou to hank for very punctual pick ups and Helen for all information and swift booking 😊😊

Fantastic holiday

Just returned from a week at this lovely penthouse apartment. Helen arranged for Henk the caretaker to pick us up from the airport. The apartment was spacious and very clean, the airconditioning was a must as the weather was very hot. We loved the balcony which had the sun all day long. There are a large selection of restaurants within 5mins walk. Are favourite was la patio which was at the end of the road booking is advisable. The complex has two pools with life guards. Overall a fantastic relaxing holiday would definitely recommend

Location

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful Mar Menor sandy beach is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We provide a large beach umbrella and cool bags for your use. It is an EU Blue Flag beach and is particularly safe for children.

Travel:

Murcia/San Javier airport is only 10 minutes drive away and Alicante is 45 minutes drive.

Collection/drop off can be arranged from either airport.

Car hire not necessary unless you wish to explore the wider area without using public transport.

Distances:

The old town of Los Alcazares is within walking distance.

Cartagena, a historical town with a Roman Amphitheater, is 20 minutes drive and Murcia can be reached within 40 minutes.

Further Details:

Supermarkets and shops close by.

Local markets on Saturday and Tuesdays.

Cycle hire available locally.

A bond of £100 for breakages/damage to the property is required when the balance is due and will be refunded providing no damage has occurred.
Balance to paid 8 weeks prior to departure. Please note that if you book within 8 weeks of departure balance to be paid in full at time of booking.
Please note: Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.



Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible with the arrival time at 4pm and departure time 10 am.

NOTE: for short breaks (3 nights minimum) there is a minimum charge of £225

£50 charge for extra 5th person to cover linen costs

Late Checkout - where possible we can be flexible but cannot confirm until nearer your holiday date. For same day arrival latest checkout is 1pm - however, this must be agreed with the owner prior to your holiday.
