Apartment in Denia, Costa Blanca, Spain - 5 Minutes' Walk To Long Sandy Beaches, Set Amongst Shops And Restaurants

The apartment is situated right at the heart of things on the first floor of a picturesque refurbished fisherman's cottage, in the lively town of Denia. Bags of character and very close to all amenities so no car required. If you do have a car, there is free parking in the street outside. There are 2 bedrooms both with double beds. The apartment has air-conditioning. There is a small balcony off the living room and a roof terrace with a barbecue. Denia is a sophisticated yet friendly town with beautiful shops and restaurants and miles of lovely beaches. Montgo National Park and Denia's castle both provide lovely backdrops to the town and are interesting places to visit. There is a fascinating historic centre packed with great restaurants. The ferry leaves daily for Ibiza from opposite the apartment.

"We had a great stay here, the apartment definitely is a gem - good facilities,

clean and comfortable. The location is very good, close to the city centre,

restaurants and shops, and it was nice to walk along the jetty when the fishing

boats returned in the afternoon. This was our second

time there and we hope to return - when we do we'll know where to stay!"

Very good location with harbour views, busy market stalls and restaurants on the promenade below. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats returning at the end of the day, unloading their catch to the fish market which has a shop open to the public. Fantastic beaches are just a leisurely stroll away. The really well equipped flat is compact with good sized bedrooms, a lovely kitchen and living area and original 'steepish' stairs to the roof terrace/utility room. All in all we had a very enjoyable holiday in Denia and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.

Excellent location.Outstanding views

Clean and very well maintained. The flat was thoughtfully designed and furnished.The view from the terrace over the harbour was fascinating. We would recommend the flat to our friends. The nearby restaurants were of a high standard and reasonably priced. Denia is an interesting and friendly place.

a little gem in fabulous Denia

If you are thinking about holidaying in Denia this Appartment has everything you need ideally located for fabulous restaurants shops beach

Once you are in Denia no need for a car On this visit we didn't hire a car we got the C6 bus from the airport into alicante then the tram to bennidorn then change tram to Denia this only cost 10e this takes a couple of hours but why rush your on holiday !! If you book this Appartment you wont be disappointed we will definitely be back soon 😊 Stephen and Caroline

Location

We bought a property in Denia as we knew and loved the Valencian region. Denia is a vibrant seaside town with year-round fiestas, an impressive castle on a hill and an extensive cultural life. It is much more than just a seaside town. It has wonderful beaches and a fascinating fishing port. It has a fantastic range of day and night life with bars and restaurants, including 2 with Michelin stars, as well as cheaper and more rustic places. The shops are excellent.

Coast/Beach:

Denia is a coastal town. The apartment overlooks the harbour. It is a five minute stroll to two beautiful long, sandy beaches. In 15 minutes you can walk to picturesque rocky coves for diving and snorkeling.

Travel:

Alicante airport, one hour's drive

Valencia airport, one hour's drive

Car not required for everyday activities but recommended for trips into the beautiful mountains behind the town with their quaint villages and wonderful scenic walks.

There is a narrow-gauge railway running from Denia to Alicante which takes you through beautiful coastal and mountain scenery.

Further Details:

Many wonderful shops and restaurants on doorstep. Numerous banks and supermarkets very close. Closest bank and supermarket 2 minutes' walk.

The apartment is situated overlooking the fishing port. Watch the boats come in and then buy your fish from that day's catch! Everything is within easy walking distance. No car required! Sandy, safe beaches are 5 minutes' walk away. Snorkeling, caves etc 10 minutes away. Shops and restaurants are on the doorstep. Summer fiestas include 'Bulls in the sea', Moors and Christians and lots of fireworks. Visit the historic center, home to some of the best restaurants in the Valencian region. Two championship golf courses are within 15 minutes drive.
