Penthouse in St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, Barbados, Caribbean - The Penthouse Is Atop A Five Story Condo Set In Tropical Gardens With Swimming Pool And On The Beach

The Penthouse enjoys spectacular views of the Ocean from the privacy peace and tranquility of the balcony which has its own plunge pool, sunbathing area and shaded area for reading and dining. The balcony can be accessed by French doors from the Master Bedroom which enjoys panoramic views of the Ocean and by sliding doors from the Sitting Room. The property is set in serene relaxing tropical gardens which has its own swimming pool and relaxation area screened from but adjoining the beach which is secluded, quiet and peaceful where you can stroll a few steps to the Ocean and may be joined by the turtles. Swim or stroll around the headland to Dover beach for water sports; including jet skis, surfing, sailing, fishing, windsurfing. From the balcony at the front of the Penthouse, you can view St. Lawrence Gap and sit and watch the World go by or meander along the Gap with its bars, shops and restaurants. There is always plenty to do or just make yourself busy doing absolutely nothing.

We are British and trust you will have a marvelous time in our beautiful apartment, upon an Island which will capture your heart. The Penthouse has breathtaking views of the ocean where you can swim with the turtles. It is set in a small exclusive select building in its own private manicured gardens with access to a lovely quiet beach.

You will return we are certain.

We have arranged for our guests to be met and greeted on arrival and shown around the Penthouse and you will have a personal contact locally during your stay should you have any questions or queries.

You will always, of course, be able to contact us personally by e mail or telephone.

Why Barry Tom or Ted chose Christ Church

We have owned the property for many years. Barbados is a relatively small Island, approximately 21 miles by 14 and we have explored every Parish. All the Parishes have Saints names, save for Christchurch. Some call Barbados "Little England" because of the close ties between the Countries, particularly cricket, horse racing and polo! Barbados still has many British traits as it appears to have held on to the "Best of British" with its magnificent Police Force, Democracy and Judicial System There is much fun to be had; on the ocean - learn to swim, dive, scuba, surf, windsurf, sail, fish by catamaran or fishing boat. In the air exploring by Helicopter or Island Hopping by Plane.

Perfect for a secluded romantic Honeymoon or party with friends as the apartment easily sleeps six.

What makes this apartment unique

The Penthouse is wonderful and the view of the Ocean from the Master Bedroom, Balcony (and from the sitting room and kitchen for that matter) is truly breathtaking. To sit on the balcony for breakfast watching the world go by with the little birds coming to inquire is nothing less than paradise. The balcony has its its own plunge pool to cool off or float in the sun. Sunrise and Sunset are magnificent. The Ocean sparkles with different shades and the turtles bob their heads in acknowledgment. The tranquility is wonderful but this is St. Lawrence Gap and should one wish to party there is no end of entertainment in this fun and happy part of Barbados with beautiful restaurants pubs and bars within walking distance of the Penthouse. The very best of both worlds. Honeymoon or party!

Thank you for letting us stay at your condo, Mistle Cove, in Barbados... It was absolutely beautiful..The view of the Caribbean from the balcony was breath taking. We had a fantastic time in Barbados sightseeing, and trying to see everything we could in the week we were there...The people were very friendly and helpful. Notes on accommodation: The property is accessed off St. Lawrence Gap through electric coded gates and a coded pedestrian gate to the large drive at the front of the property. There is plenty of parking space and a gated coded entry to the building itself which enjoys both a stairwell and a lift. The Penthouse is a large airy property furnished in a Bajan style and has air conditioning but in line with eco friendly policies the air conditioning should not be switched on during the day or when vacating the property. Open plan and balcony and front door allow the breeze right through. The balcony has its own exclusive private plunge pool The telephone may be used freely and free of charge for local calls and the property enjoys a fast Internet service. There is a hairdryer and straighteners in the Master Bathroom and a safe in bedroom two Voltage: 110-120 Volts (Same as U.S./Canada, most other areas are 220-240 Volts). You will need a plug adapter for your own equipment. Outside: The Penthouse balcony has its own private plunge pool which is cleaned and serviced regularly. The balcony is equipped with a dining table and chairs and sun loungers. The tropical beautifully manicured and private gardens outside have several sun loungers, a table, chairs, umbrella and a communal swimming pool which is cleaned and serviced three times per week and heated by the tropical sun. The Penthouse is atop a beautiful exclusive small elite and private building with only fourteen condos in total. Access to the sandy beach which appears to be its very own cove is by two steps through arched palmtrees. Utility Room: The Utility room has a Belfast Washing Sink, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Storage Cupboards, Iron, Ironing Board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The is a large linen cupboard with bed linen, blankets, towels, including bath and beach towels. There is a maid service when the Penthouse will be thoroughly cleaned, beds changed and all linen and towels laundered. Additional if required but charged. Other: The large open dining room has a beautiful large wooden dining table and chairs for six with two carvers, a sideboard with drawers and storage, music stereo and telephone wireless internet. Plunge whirlpool is serviced regularly.

Great value, loads of space

We stayed in the Mistle Cove penthouse for one week, March 24-31/17. We loved every minute and found this spacious accommodation to feel like home right away. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of closet space, fantastic spacious balcony, etc....the list goes on...Can't say enough good things about this property and our stay there. Carolina had arranged a shuttle at the airport and met us at the condo to show us everything and explain all the important stuff. The private plunge pool was a wonderful treat whenever the urge struck! The beach was lovely but strong waves made it a bit tricky getting out after a swim sometimes. lol The location was great as none of us had any desire to rent a car. We were able to walk to a large selection of restaurants(our favourite was Sharkey's), shops, the big grocery store and one of the most beautiful calm beaches you could imagine, Worthing Beach.

Carolina was readily available to answer any and all questions and helped arrange the island tour we wanted to go on. She also came to see us off on our last day which was a nice send-off.

The only thing even remotely close to a negative is that we only visited for one week instead of 2! As 5 women together for a week, we knew we had more than enough space when the week's end arrived and we hadn't gotten on each other's nerves yet! lol

Spacious and convenient

We had a lovely stay at the penthouse. It was quite lovely to walk out on the deck every morning with your coffee and enjoy the Caribbean, what a great view and a lovely way to start the day. We were a party of five women and having the 3 bathrooms was a great bonus. The condo is convenient for walking to many venues and also to get the buses and the ZR transportation... We enjoyed the plunge pool, the swimming pool area and the beach in front. The only thing we suggest is that it could use a little freshening up. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would certainly book again if we went back to Barbados. Thanks M. King

Beautiful Barbados

Penthouse apartment located on the beachfront in St Lawrence Gap. Apartment was well equipped , spacious with great views overlooking the caribbean.

We were welcomed by Jobi who gave us a grand tour of the apartment and explained how to use the appliances etc. A lovely touch on arrival was a small welcome pack which was greatfully received, even a small bottle of rum to get us in the holiday spirit.

The only downside was the noise from Sharkey's bar opposite plus a night club close by which went on until 3am, then the noise of drunken customers leaving these bars to make their way home. Such a shame as we are early risers and like to make the most of our holiday. The bedroom overlooking the beach was less affected but unfortunately the 2 bedrooms overlooking the Gap were affected by the noise.

The gardener was lovely, he helped us store our luggage when we vacated the apartment until it was time to leave. Cleaner also a lovely lady , she came twice a week but her cleaning left a bit to be desired, bedding and towels changed, not all bathroom sinks cleaned and certainly the floor wasn't mopped.

Visited several places along the coast, Bridgetown, Oistins, Speightstown, Flower Forest , Bathsheba, Dover beach and Miami beach. Meant to include the rum tour but ran out of time.Maybe do that on our next visit.

The people are very friendly always a good morning and have a great day.

You must use the little mini buses that run along the coastline, there's an experience if there ever was one, they squash as many people in as they possibly can , such characters, but only 2 bd wherever you travelled.

We found eating out very expensive as were the supermarkets, they could do with a Lidle or an Aldi's. It would probably pay you to go all inclusive as we went through our money very quickly and had to draw out more funds.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return at a later date.

Stunning Penthouse Apartment

We stayed at this Beautiful Penthouse Apartment last January. If I could give it 10 stars I would. It met all our expectations.

Clean, modern, very spacious with lots of amenities.

Views were simply breath-taking, it has its own beach and a communal pool which was fantastic. I miss sitting out on the Balcony listening the ocean waves or relaxing with a glass of bubbly in the private spa. The location is excellent...St Lawrence Gap is right on the doorstep literally. We also used Dover Beach which was 5 minute walk away. We Hired a mini moke for travelling around the island to visit the stunning beaches. Worthing Beach was another favourite which was only a short walk away. Regular buses run to Oistins on a Friday Evening so that's not to be missed. All I can say is it was an experience we will never forget & Mistle Cove Penthouse absolutely made our Holiday second to none. So thankyou for letting your excellent Penthouse Apt to us & I hope we will return one day.

Great location but

Great location right on the gap everything on hand

we have been to Barbados about 6 times so I know about locations

now the apartment is great value considering it does sleep 6

you do get noise late at night from the gap but we was ok in the master suite but the other bedrooms you could hear it quite clearly it could go on till aprrox 3am

The apartment is spacious lovely views over the sea great balcony but the sun loungers definitely need replacing we would not lie on them looked grotty also the living room settees was also a little grotty did not help they were made of a velour material so people had sat on them in wet costumes and sun lotion they would be better with something with covers that could be washed and replace also the apaetment was just a little tired everywhere and needed a lick of paint and a good clean

Sorry for the negatives but this did not spoil our holiday we did enjoy our stay in the apartment loads of room as we normally book room only hope this helps
