Apartment in Sidmouth, South Devon, England - All essential shops and amenities are within a short walk.

Sidview apartment, recently refurbished, is set back 50 metres from the seafront. Its main asset is its position, with a balcony providing views over the rooftops of Sidmouth to the cliffs beyond. The delightful town centre is also 50 metres away, along Chapel Street into Church Street. The small town centre is unique with fascinating shops, some traffic free cobbled streets and a peaceful unspoilt atmosphere. There are many restaurants and pubs in the town, most within easy walking distance. The seafront is little changed from a century ago and remains uncommercialised.

About Ann Cole

The owners were born and brought up in Sidmouth and have recently moved back after several decades away. Now that we are (mostly) retired, we have time to really focus on the lettings and take great satisfaction in giving our guests the best holiday let experience that we can provide.

Why Ann Cole chose East Devon

The apartment was purchased in 2010 as a personal holiday home. As soon as we moved in we realised what a fantastic location it was for a Holiday Let so started letting in 2011.

What makes this apartment unique

As well as benefiting from having secure parking (with lift from the car park level) and great views from the balcony and lounge, the apartment is within close proximity to: shops, restaurants and bars in the unspoilt regency town of Sidmouth. Also to beaches and walks with a backdrop of fantastic scenery.

We endeavour to ensure that our apartment is always in perfect condition for our guests. We offer a well stocked kitchen and try to provide our guests with the best possible service.

Our guests feedback reassures us that we are achieving our aims in this respect.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 childremsleeps 2 with an additional 2 on the King size sofa bed. There is an additional charge of £10/day/person for use of the sofa bed, (Well Behaved) Dogs are welcomed at £20/week. No smoking Outside: The balcony outside the lounge overlooks rooftops to Salcombe Hill to the East with a glimpse of the sea to the south. To the north is a 50 metre walk to 'The Triangle' the bus terminus with buses to other parts of the Sid valley, and surrounding villages and towns, including Exeter. The local 'Hoppa' bus runs between the hills on either side of Sidmouth. Another 30-50 meters afield is the Church, Cricket pitch, Croquet, Tennis and Bowls Lawns together with Sidmouth Rugby Club. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels, bedding, etc provided. Flat cleaned prior to arrival Other: Large Hallway leading to all other rooms

Perfect

This is our second stay in this lovely flat and if we return to Sidmouth it will be here.

The flat is ideally situated with the shops, restaurants and main beach just a few minutes walk away. The accommodation is spacious, very tastefully decorated and was just perfect for the two of us. It was also very handy having a reserved car park space in the underground car park. We will certainly return. Thank you Steve and Ann.

Apartment had everything we needed. A good place from which to explore the Devon coast

The property was well equipped and comfortable. Close to shops, cafes, restaurants and the seafront so everything was there should you wish to stay in Sidmouth. The owners of the apartment gave us helpful information. We would certainly recommend this property.

A lovely flat in an ideal situation, comfortable, well equipped, very clean & cosy.

Our Spring stay was very enjoyable. The apartment is comfortable, clean, well equiped & cosy. It is ideally situated for exploring Sidmouth town, coastal walks & countryside. No need to get the car out! Helpful information supplied by owners. Secure parking is a bonus.

It was our second stay at the apartment . It is in an ideal location for town , seafront and of course the pub. We come down at least once a year and find the apartment comfortable and well equipped .

A very light and comfortable apartment

This was our second visit to this apartment and will try to book it again next year.

It is centrally located and has the advantage of underground private parking. The bus

Stop is 2 minutes walk and the shops and seafront are also just minutes away.

The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped.

There are many restaurants and coffee shops in Sidmouth and we found a Sunday

Carvery at the Blue Ball in Sidford is a good reward for a leisurely 2 km walk through

The Byes and local footpaths.
