The Logs is a detached Norwegian log house, sleeping 10 in 6 bedrooms. It is situated 3 miles north of Fort William in a quiet rural setting. The visual tranquility, feeling of spaciousness, warmth and comfort associated with this type of building are certain to enhance any holiday. It offers self-catering accommodation of a high standard. The accommodation also consists of a spacious lounge with gallery sitting room over, dining room with large table seating 10, and breakfast kitchen with all the facilities to make you feel at home. There is gas central heating and a wood burning stove in the lounge. There is a no smoking policy.

Great location - plenty of space for our party of 10

Really enjoyed our time at the property and were able to use this as a base to explore the western highlands and islands. We had a party of 10, three generations, and had plenty of room for all. Kids enjoyed using the bikes and other outdoor games available on site, and but for the midges might have played around outside the entire time. Lots to do in the area then back to the log house to enjoy captivating views of the Nevis range from the living room - it was like watching a kaleidoscope with the constantly changing cloud cover and light effects.

on the outside abeautiful lodge and location, Inside in need of refurbishment.

Scotland and area Fantastic!

Shame about the Lodge, kitchen was well equipped,

Everywhere else was very poor,

Dusty, Damp, furniture held together with duck tape, very very uncomfortable, tumble dryer hose left hanging not connected to the outside, bedding very worn, electrics in very poor condition, windows not able to lock, curtains have never been washed.bathrooms all black and damp showers un exceptable for cleanliness, vents and dehumidifies blocked with dust. Cleaned what we could, and made the most of it.

Very very disappointed, view of Ben Nevis was Fantastic and five of us climbed it to the top.

This lodge in my view needs a revamp with white linen and towels and clutter free , making it a lot brighter.

Outside a beautiful lodge in a fantastic location.

Was very sad to bring this to your attention this lodge needs some T L C badly.

Owner's Response: We are sorry that the clients were unhappy with the accommodation and we are disappointed with the score. The comfort of our clients is of paramount importance Had they chosen to discuss matters with us, when we visited them, we might have been able to address some of their complaints, at the time. We were inspected by VisitScotland regional manager, this year, and no issues were highlighted and we maintained our four star rating. At the time, she remarked on the quality of furnishings, stating that it was a pleasure to find a property which hadn’t been furnished from a mass produced modernism shop All electrics, including appliances have passed inspection and we hold the current NICEIC accreditation Windows are Snip and can only be opened from the inside In addition to ourselves, we employ 2 cleaners to effect changeovers. Bathrooms are steam cleaned and all hard surfaces are washed & sterilised. All soft furnishings e.g. carpets, mattresses, upholstery, CURTAINS etc., are professionally cleaned annually. Linen colour is a matter of taste and style and it is always replaced on a regular basis. The extractor hose is located between the central heating boiler and the hot tank. It is not visible and there is no reason to vent it outside. If there is any damp we definitely would wish to know about it so we could deal with it. We are grateful for the advice about the dust in the extractors. We shall endeavor to remedy this, in the future

More spacious than I expected with fantastic views.

A lovely holiday cottage with bags of character and personal touches. The architect of the property really made the most of the Ben Nevis views. For the reasonable price it exceeded my expectations.

There is a leisure centre plus many, many outdoor activities including climbing, walking, sea kayaking, white water rafting, quad biking, biking, golf etc.
