Apartment in Quinta da Barracuda, nr. Albufeira Town, Central Algarve, Portugal A23 - Just a 2 Minute Walk to the Beach and 5 Minute Walk to 'The Strip'

Exceptional location 100metres from the beach at Forte Sao Joao. A leisurely 15 minute walk across the beach will take you into The Old Town.

Guests have use of two swimming pools as well as a tennis court. In the

evenings enjoying a meal or drink on the balcony you will experience the most spectacular evening sun sets. The perfect location for couples, families, and golfers who are looking for a fun relaxing holiday.

Both our apartments are situated on the same floor therefore making it ideal for family and friends who are holidaying together.

Albufeira is regarded as the tourist capital of the Algarve offering good cuisine, shopping, local markets, night-life and relaxation. The town itself offers an interesting contrast with its two distinct areas known as The Old Town with Marina, cobbled streets and newly refurbished square, and the well known 'Strip' with its many shops, restaurants, bars, bull ring and vibrant night-life.

Anne and I are from County Tyrone in N. Ireland. We first came to Portugal over 25 years ago and fell in love with this beautiful sunny part of the world. We like to spend as much time as possible here enjoying the lifestyle and playing golf.

We have put a lot of thought and effort into making these apartments very comfortable for the enjoyment of our guests - a 'home from home in the sunshine' (whatever the season). We hope you agree!

The most beautiful location and apartment we stayed in so close to every thing and so so peaceful and private yet in five minutes walk we were on the "Strip" we will be back.


We stayed in Barracuda in October 2011 with 2 children ages 10 & 12, & from the time of booking until our departure it has to rate as one of the most stress free holidays we've ever had as a family. The apartment is beautiful, tastefully decorated and spotless, with all the mod cons & high standards you'd expect at home, but rarely get as part of a package holiday. The complex very secure and the location is excellent - close to the beach, near enough to walk to local restaurants, etc, The kids loved the pool area, & would have been happy to spend the entire holiday there. Having had such a great time we are definitely thinking of going back in the near future. It was made all the more easier with the great help from the owner and would highly recommend it to anyone.

A lovely apartment kept to a high standard with a great view from the balcony! Everything is like new and has a great location. Great to sit out on the balcony with a drink prior to taking the tourist train down in to the Old Town for some wonderful food!

Check in time 2pm check out 10am Beautiful white marble tiles throughout. This apartment is fully air-conditioned with heating. Good selection of DVDs and CDs for everyone. Cot and high chair can be provided, if requested. (small charge) Sorry smoking and pets not permitted. Outside: The complex is set in beautifully landscaped grounds and has 2 swimming pools including children's pools. The balcony enjoy a sunny disposition and is furnished with rattan terrace furniture for 4 people. Relaxing over a cool drink or enjoying something to eat you can soak up the sun and take in the fantastic panoramic views of the beach, sea and Old town.
