You also have in two minutes all boats with which you can make excursions of a few hours or spend all day. If you are interested in concerts, ballets, opera and music in general the Auditorium is right next. If you love tennis or golf, you have two tennis clubs nearby and three golf courses. Beautifully designed & furnished property!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - the apartment is stunning the only problem I had was that the sun was only on the balcony from 1pm - unlike the penthouse where we stayed before! I am happy to be in the sun all day from breakfast on so rather disappointed- my husband prefer's the shade so no problems there - very quiet area & Rosa Maria more than helpful.

Owner's Response: Dear Monty&Sue, I am glad that the apartment has you wonderful looking and I regret that the terrace is not covered your time sun expectations, if this was a priority for you and you'd asked me, I would not have had difficulty in clarifying the strip time of sun. The terrace has sun always early (sunrise) until 10:00 am, then two, maximum three hours without sun (depending on the season) and then sun all the day given its south-west orientation. I understand that you like more the Penthouse, because it has two private terraces and sun 24 hours, but since it was already booked, as I already informed you, I could not give you. I am sorry! Lovely spacious, clean apartment in a great area of Palma. Our host Rosa Maria was really helpful and couldn't have done more for us. Nice easy walk to a whole array of bars and really good restaurants. Will definitely re-visit!

Christmas 2015

We stayed in Rosa Maria's two bedroom apartment for one week over Christmas. It is modern, immaculately furnished and very clean. A welcome pack of wine, chocolates and fruit was left which was a nice touch. We had wonderful weather and sat out on the spacious balcony for late afternoon sunshine on a few days. The apartment is in a good spot, minutes away from good restaurants and the Paseo Maritimo. It probably takes about 30 minutes to walk along the Paseo Maritimo into central Palma with all the delights of the old town, sophisticated shops, restaurants, bars etc. Frequent buses into the centre take about ten minutes.Rosa María is very helpful and friendly and will give advice on places to go if necessary. All in all a great apartment and we look forward to returning soon.

Great Apartment and Welcoming Owner

Stayed here for 10 days with my family. The apartment is exactly as you see it in the photos, very clean and modern interior, very well equipped kitchen, air-conditioning very effective, good WiFi Internet connection, it exceeded our expectations. The Spanish owner was very welcoming and helpful, arranging early check-in times for us and telling us about the nearby attractions and facilities, speaking fluent English (and probably other languages). A good location about 1 mile from the centre of Palma, lots of on-street parking for your hire car, a quiet residential street, with a good supermarket nearby. There are bus stops nearby into town and beach if you don't want to walk or drive there. Nice outside balcony/terrace with table & chairs and sun-shade. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

Stayed at the apartment with my husband and daughter. Rosa Maria is a wonderful host and made the booking/arrival/departure process easy. She is very helpful with advice about the local area and places of interest. The apartment is fantastic, modern, clean and with everything you need - and the welcome pack is a lovely addition! The location is ideal - quiet, safe area with shops, restaurants, markets all in walking distance.

Great Time

Just returned from a week at Rosa Maria's apartment. Let's just start with the very lovely Rosa Maria. She is a lively spirited lady with a great personality. She met us on arrival and made sure that we had all the information we needed regarding the 2 bed apartment. She also gave us information regarding bus routes, places to eat etc. etc. As other reviewers have stated she kindly left us a basic but very much welcomed grocery pack just to let us settle in before we stocked up ourselves from local shops including the Mercado located just a few minutes walk from the apartment. The property was very secure and the facilities were first class and very clean on our arrival. The Son Armadams area is a fine residential district next to Santa Catalina with a large choice of small restaurants and bars. The Paseo Maritimo is within a few minutes walk with the Passeig de Mallorca and the old Palma town centre within an easy 15/20 minute walk. Placa Espana was about 30minutes walk. If that doesn't suit just ask Rosa M about the bus service - it's simple! For food we tried breakfast at a small restaurant Capritxo (top of street turn left and it faces you on main road). Very nice staff and very clean. There are so many choices for places to eat, however, our top three places are TAST, Bar Espana and best of all Patxi. Check them out on Trip Advisor or other review sites.

We tried a day trip with the small train from Placa Espana to Port Soller. Our experience was that you shouldn't take any notice of descriptions like It's so quaint, it's so magical, it's so enchanting etc. - we would never do it again!

If you want to spend 30 euros per person being dug in the ribs, being pushed out of the way by ill mannered boorish fellow tourists trying to get in and out of a a rickety, shoogly wooden box that spends much of the time in pitch black tunnels then this is the trip for you. Remember it's up to you!!!

Finally back to the lovely RosaM. Our dealings with her from the start of the booking process until its end both by email and personally was first class. We encountered no difficulty whatsoever and would be very confident in future should we choose to return

15 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the harbor.


10 minutes drive from Palma airport. 5 minutes drive from the ferry port with ferries leaving to Ibiza and Barcelona. 2 minute walk from bus stop with quick bus service that takes you all around the city. The apartment is centrally located in Palma and to get around town, a car is not necessary.

Bus and taxis are cheap. If you would like to rent a car for a day trip the closest car rental office is a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Further Details:

The apartment is located next to the famous fresh food market of Santa Catalina, where you find all the fresh products that you could possible wish for. The area is full of good restaurants, tapas bars and cafes. In short walking distance you have the Paseo Maritimo, the Bellver Castle, La Lonja, Museums, the Cathedral ,The Historic City center and some of the best shopping streets in town. Located 2 min walk from the tourist office.
