Private villa, sleeps 6, 2 doubles with en-suite, and a/c, 2 singles, pool
Casa Blanca is a beautiful and charming rustic villa located in the Bixquert valley behind Xativa Castle. The villa is reached by paved single track road in less than 10 minutes from Xativa. An electric gate allows access to the fully fenced plot of around 1600 m2, which features garden areas, a private filtered pool (5 x 9m) and an extensive sun terrace. The villa has several living and dining areas, including a first floor terrace, and features an outside laundry area. Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge-dining area with sofas and tv/video area. There are two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite toilet and bath/shower room, and each with full air conditioning. There are two single bedrooms with fans, and an additional bathroom with toilet, basin and shower.
Throughout, the villa features original Spanish style wooden windows and doors with traditional wooden shutters and external metalwork.

A peaceful holiday in an authentic Spanish villa
My husband and I have recently returned from Casa Blanca. We have not rented a holiday home previously and therefore did not know what to expect, what to bring or what to ask! Fortunately, when planning the visit, we felt reassured by Nigel (the owner) who answered our preliminary questions very promptly and honestly. Importantly, we felt that the description of the villa was accurate and fully agreed with the positive comments provided by previous visitors. On arrival in the town, we were met by an extremely helpful and informative lady (Annette) who guided us to the villa from a pre-arranged meeting point (McDonalds). This was very useful, as although the villa is nearby Xativa centre, it would be tricky to find the villa without help initially. The villa was very clean and well equipped/furnished. Every door and window has beautiful wood panelled shutters…which are charming and authentic. Although we did not need to use any heating, we also admired the wood burner as this is housed in a round/traditional Spanish fireplace. The pool was immaculate and has a lovely terrace surrounding it. Nigel has a large collection of DVDs (to suit every age) and an even larger collection of books. There are two supermarkets nearby and we discovered that a local garage is open on a Sunday. To celebrate a special occasion, we visited a restaurant for lunch in a nearby hotel (Mont-Sont) which is situated in a lovely setting below a Castle. Although we expected (and hoped) the local residents would be primarily Spanish speaking, we forgot to take a phrase book on holiday (or download a translation app) and discovered just before leaving that there were a few books of this type in the villa (a clear indication of the care that Nigel gives to the items that visitors might need!)
Best place we have stayed in the last 10 years
Fantastic villa and pool with everything we could need for our holiday Nigel was so helpful when booking and all the way up to our arrival, then Annette helped us with anything else that we may of needed, xativa is a lovely town and the market was amazing we loved it so much were hoping to book again soon I really can't express how nice this villa is the pictures just don't do it justice we would recommend it to anyone who wants a great relaxing holiday
Casa Blanca was the perfect holiday villa for our family (2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 10). It really felt like a home from home and provided the perfect base for exploring Xativa and the surrounding area. Annette met us in Xativa to guide us up to the villa and was extremely helpful and informative. The villa is spacious and cool inside, with a lovely patio and beautiful plants in the garden. The pool was amazing, large and clean and we swam everyday. We also enjoyed watching a couple of DVDs from the extensive film collection. Xativa is a pretty town with an interesting history - we visited the castle and museum and enjoyed both. Casa Blanca is very highly recommended and we hope to visit again one day.
Great villa in great place simple as that !
Met and was guided to the villa by a very helpful and informative Annette who showed us around and explained the layout of the villa and how things worked etc.
Very spacious inside with a very large ensuite master bedroom and a further 3 good sized bedrooms.
kitchen area whilst a bit on the small side compared to the rest of the house has all the equipment needed for your stay.
Large pool and terrace area great for swimming and relaxing.Would recommend villa to all and being near Xativa was a bonus.Owner Nigel also very helpful throughout the booking process.
This is our SECOND year to stay at Nigel's fantastic Casa Blanca. Our only regret this year is that we couldn't stay longer.
If you are like us (three adults and two children), I couldn't recommend this wonderful villa with greater enthusiasm. Casa Blanca is perfect, the surrounding area is endless distracting with its beauty and history, and the locals are charming. It is just a short drive to gorgeous beaches and the fabulous city of Valencia.
Thank you Nigel, Annette and Debora for another excellent vacation!

We had a fantastic holiday here. The villa was very well equipped and beautifully clean. Nigel helped us all the way through from our booking to transfer and Annette was very helpful once we arrived. We travelled easily to the coast several times, just forty minutes away. Valencia is amazing as ever ,forty
minutes again and so easy to park just outside and walk in. Make sure you go to the art museums! Great cheap food, 14 euros for two courses including traditional Valencian paella!! All in all a lovely location ,beautiful views and definately among the locals , feeling the real Spanish way of life! Would definitely recommend it.
Activity and Interests
The Villa is located in the residential area of Bixquert, which is very close to Xativa, an historic Spanish town with its own landmark castle dating back to the 15th century. Xativa is an ideal holiday location in its own right but is also well situated for access to Valencia city, inland nature reserves and areas of natural beauty, and the beaches around Gandia (all are around 30-40 minutes by car). Xativa offers the ideal blend of authentic historic Spain and modern shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants. Major fiestas in the area are the 'Fallas' in March and the Xativa Fair in mid August.
