Linen provided. Sun terrace on upper floor. Air-conditioning throughout- heating and cooling. New modern kitchen fully fitted with all appliances. TV (British and French channels) and wi-fi. Covered terrace with dining area. Situated within village. 10 minutes drive to the beaches of St Maxime and 25 minutes from St. Tropez. The village offers many shops and sport activities such as tennis courts, petanque courts, riding school. In Sainte Maxime you can enjoy a water park, a zip slide park and a multiplex cinema.

About the Owner

We are a family of four, living in Edinburgh. We are Chris (Scottish, property professional) and Elodie ( French, teacher)-our children are thirteen and fiftteen years old.

Plan de la Tour was a location of many childhood holidays for Elodie. We have had a house here now for ten years and very much fallen in love with it!

We hope the house is a home, it is furnished that way and generally set up very well for families.

We have numerous friends in the village and are always happy to provide advice and recommendations- from tennis lessons to best restaurants!

We had a lovely time in PDLT - it's a village with everything. We ate out at the various restaurants - loved the Crêperie and Le Temps des Copains where the Friday night music was particularly entertaining. We loved the fact that we didn't have to drive to shops, restaurants etc. The house was ideal, so well equipped that we could have opened a small restaurant of our own! We swam every day - what a good size pool and beautifully clean.. We made a few forays to the coast but loved coming back to the peace and quiet of the house and lovely garden. Michelle is a delightful person to deal with and obviously is keen that renters have a really good holiday. Thank you for the wine - it was so nice too to have such an extensive range of glasses. In short it was all we expected and more - nothing about it was disappointing.

Many thanks - we would certainly rent it again.

A secluded slice of paradise

From start to finish this holiday has exceeded expectations.

Chris has gone above and beyond to make the entire process of organising the holiday as easy and enjoyable as possible, which I can't thank him enough for.

The photos available are beautiful but they don't do this place justice. Tucked away at the edge of the village the villa benefits from total privacy yet easy access to shops and restaurants; which are all a short walk away.

The villa itself was immaculately clean and was better equipped than most homes. The layout of the house offers privacy for several sets of adults which was ideal for our party of 5.

The outside area is perfectly equipped with outside dining, comfy sitting area, plenty of sun loungers and table tennis. The gardens are beautiful and far bigger than the pictures depict.

All in all a fabulous holiday and we'll most definitely be back.

a little slice of heaven !

We've just returned from a glorious week in this stunning house !

From the first instance Chris the owner has been very helpful and easy to deal with and then Michelle was just a pleasure, nothing is too much trouble and she made our stay very enjoyable.

The house itself is extremely well equipped - better than my own !! The layout has also been very well thought out and was brilliant for two families sharing. My husband and I had the upstairs with the children and my parents and brother had the downstairs - this worked very well indeed.

The house has some stunning views and is beautifully decorated.

The pool was clean, and although a little chilly on first entering you soon got acclimatised and my children literally spent every waking hour playing in the pool !!

The house is situated is the most charming little village - Plan De La Tour. All the locals are very welcoming and friendly and its packed with restaurants and little shops - the market is also lovely.

Just a short drive from Ste Maxime, where you can park for free and get a little boat ride to St Tropez. There is also a CarreFour supermarket just 5-10mins away.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to any one wishing to visit the area.

Fabulous

We (family of four with two young boys) had a fantastic time. The house was perfect - it is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a few toys, DVDs etc for children, and beautifully presented. The garden and pool are lovely as well. Great location, easy walk into Plan de la Tour with lots of restaurants and only a short drive to some great beaches and St Tropez.

Idyllic French holiday for relaxation & gastronomy

Our stay in this villa was the most relaxing and enjoyable holiday we have experienced in France. It's set in an idyllic location, within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants and shops. This really is a foodies paradise. The market is fantastic and takes you straight into a Peter Mayle novel. Do not hesitate to book this villa as Plan de la tour is a hidden gem. Only to be out shined by Michelle who made us very welcome on arrival, and continued to entertain us with her genuine warm nature.

Plan de la Tour is special- it remains an authentic French village! Whilst the glamour of St Tropez is at hand we find the village perfect as a base and with the range of local shops and restaurants it is very easy to not get in the car!

The house is very handily located for the village- literally a two minute walk from the village centre. However, even with such a central location, the house is private, quiet, discrete and secure. The large garden is mature and beautiful- and perfect for children to play in!
