About the Owner

We were both lucky enough to retire early and love to spend a lot of time relaxing in the sunshine and what better place to do so than a spanish villa on the outskirts of Nerja. We look upon Los Olivos as our second home and spend about twelve weeks a year there.

We have had property in Nerja for about fourteen years and bought Los Olivos in 2008

The beauty of nerja is that is still a spanish town with spanish traditions, but also has everything one needs for a great holiday. The villa itself is only ten minutes drive to the town and beaches, yet is so tranquil.

Nerja has a number of beaches all of which are a ten minute drive away, the most popular being the blue flag Burriana Beach where you will find a large selection of bars and restaurants.


Malaga is the nearest airport being approximately 45 minutes drive away.

A car is required to access the villa and the access road comprises about 100 metres of an unmade track. I may be able to arrange car hire discount at Malaga airport.


Approximately 2km from Nerja town centre and beaches and 4km from the beautiful whitewashed village of Frigiliana.

Further Details:

Nerja is an outstanding holiday destination which caters for all ages. The focal point is the palm tree lined Balcon de Europa which overlooks the mediterrean where you can relax and watch the world go by. At the last count there were about 300 bars /restaurants ranging from free tapas to exclusive gourmet food. There are many banks, supermarkets and shops to cater for all the family

Booking Notes:
A non refundable deposit of 25% ( credit card ) is required when booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure and if not paid we reserve the right to re- let the villa. For those booking within 8 weeks of departure payment in full is required on booking. Credit card details are held for the holiday duration as a deposit for breakages and then destroyed.

Notes on prices:
Bookings made within two weeks of departure will benefit from a discount of 20%. WIFI is available at price of twenty pounds per week

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

From the Owner

We have terraces surrounding all of the villa so from dawn to dusk there is always sunshine on one of the terraces. The location is so peaceful and most of the time the only noise you hear is the sound of birds singing!

  • Outside: The property enjoys all round terraces affording all day sunshine. The covered patio has a dining table and six chairs with a large rattan settee and two large chairs. The private pool measures approximately 6x3 metres and there is also a calor gas barbecue, a roof terrace and a large garden with olive and various other fruit trees.Six sun beds are also available. Utility Room: Washing machine, large fridge freezer, iron, ironing board, clothes dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided for the duration of the stay and the villa is professionally cleaned before guests arrive.
