Westwood House is a very beautiful family home set in the spectacular residential setting of Tehidy Park. It is surrounded by the 250 acres of Tehidy Woods with plenty of walking and cycling routes. The stunning views of St Ives can be seen from North Cliffs which is a 15 minute walk for the house through the woods. Within the property you will find 5 large bedrooms, a large conservatory and a games room for the family to enjoy. Outside in the rear garden is the spacious patio with BBQ and private hot tub.The lifeguard patrolled beach at Portreath is perfect for families and is a mere 10 minutes drive and 15 minutes away are the 3 miles of golden sands at Godrevy / Gwithian in St Ives Bay, where you can expect to see seals in their natural environment and also the possibility of seeing dolphins in the bay. The historic town of St Ives and the cathedral city of Truro are 20 minutes away offering variety of options.

An amazing house in a gorgeous location

We enjoyed a long weekend here with our extended family in April 2017, the accommodation perfectly suited our needs.. there is plenty of space to seat everyone to share meals and also lots of room for people to spread out which meant that the children could play and the baby could rest and the grown ups could relax 😊

The location is beautiful, very peaceful but close enough to walk into the woods and we even strolled out to the Terace restaurant at Gwel an Mor for an evening meal one night.

Beaches are close by and we managed some bodyboarding at Gwithian and Portreath. Thanks to Mark for the loan of the house, we made some amazing memories to treasure forever.

Lovely house!

We had a lovely stay at Westwood house for my dad's 50th. Communication with Mark before hand was great and made sure everything ran smoothly when we were there. The hot tub and pool room are brilliant added extras and provided lots of entertainment.

The location of the house is great, we have always loved Portreath! It was also fully equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Homely and spacious

Westwood House provided the perfect accommodation for our reunion with friends (4 adults and 5 children), there was plenty of space and the house was very well equipped, the games room and hot tub were much enjoyed.

The house was also well located for us to explore Cornwall and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making everything so easy and the welcome pack was much appreciated.

Brilliant place

We had a great time at Westwood House. The house is marvellous, the owners provide everything you could need, and we found it to be wonderfully spacious. The facilities were basically second to none. And the location suited us very well - an easy drive to lots of good places, and a lovely short walk through the woodland to the cliffs and the coastal path. Highly recommended.

Perfect house in beautiful location for family holiday

Westwood House was perfect in every way for our family holiday. Mark ,the owner, was very patient and prompt to answer my questions before our visit. Westwood House is very clean and comfortable;very well equipped for a family holiday with special attention to the needs of our 9 month and 16 month old grandchildren with safety sockets and new cot sheets.

There is plenty of space for guests of all ages;hot tub , pool table , games DVD room and conservatory.We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children.

Westwood House is set in a beautiful location with many woodland walks from the house without the use of a car.The house is also within easy reach of a very good Tesco for provisions.We would recommend a home delivery for arrival.

Places to visit:Paradise Park was a hit to see the penguins being fed and a train ride. Although you can take picnics the, cafe was very good.Park and train ride to St Ives is a must. St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre arewell worth a visit.

Westwood House is conveniently situated to visit both north and south Cornwall.

A mention must be made of the welcome pack. It is AMAZING! I will not spoil the surprise.

I would recommend the Westwood House to my friends and family and we hope to return.

Thank you to Mark and Debbie for letting us stay there.
