A wonderful location, fantastic pool and clean, stylish accommodation.

We had a fabulous holiday, with lots to see and do, including a trip to nearby St Tropez by boat from Ste Maxime. The villa had everything we needed, and the infinity pool was an absolute delight. We spent most of our time lazing by the pool looking out over the olive groves with nothing but the sound of cicadas for company. We did drag ourselves away to visit the market at Plan de la Tour, which was charming, and to eat at the welcoming restaurants in the village. All in all, a wonderful place to stay which we would recommend to anyone looking for peace and quiet within easy reach of the glamorous Cotes D'Azure.

Delightful and secluded holiday location

We had a perfect stay in this wonderful garden apartment. Equipped with everything we needed and one of the most comfy holiday beds we have ever encountered! The pool and terraces are lovely with plenty of sunny and shady spots to choose from. A great location, close to the village of Le Plan de la Tour where there is a variety of friendly restaurants and great weekly market. Ste Maxim is just a short drive, giving access to its nearby beaches and the most enjoyable ferry over to St Tropez. We will be back.

Absolutely amazing setting in the hills

Amazing setting in the hills. The decor of the apartment is clean and modern and chic. Would definatley recommend to anyone. What's lovely are the little welcoming touches like his and her gowns and his and her sun hats. Complimentary baguette and biscuits and has some immenities for you to use like tea coffee olive oil salt pepper washing up bits etc. The wifi only seems to work in the apartment on tp link. Password is on the tp link box plugged into the wall next to the Bifolds for anyone struggling. Lovely

Paradise found. A dream holiday location!

We have stayed in Jilly's apartment over 2 summers now and have been hard pressed to find a more peaceful relaxing and beautiful setting in all of Provence.

If you are looking for tranquil surroundings, beautiful landscaped gardens and a breathtaking infinity pool then this apartment is truly the one for you. The apartment is lovely with a contemporary, clean and chic style. It has every comfort you could need and a wonderful private terrace and barbeque area. For us the pool and stunning terrace area is where we spent most of the hot summer days though. The views of the surrounding mountains are divine as you laze about in the enormous pool. To have this all to yourself is pure heaven. The village of Plan de la Tour is about 5 mins drive down the hill and has a lovely produce market and several great cafes. We cant wait to come back!

Idyllic setting

This was our third stay - and it still didnt disappoint.

A chic secluded apartment just a few minutes from the village and a few more to the coast.

The pool and view from it are amazing. Highly recommend.

St Tropez is a 20-30minute drive from the property, or a very pleasant 12 minute ferry trip from nearby Ste Maxime where beach bars and restaurants abound. You can also catch ferries from here to some of the nearby islands and Cote d'Azur resorts. This is an area to explore and there are tucked-away beaches and coastal walks to be found as well as the well-known beaches of Pampelonne.


A car is essential for enjoying all that is on offer in the area as well as for daily trips to the boulangerie.

Nice, Marseilles and Hyeres/St Tropez airports are all about one and a quarter hours drive away.


Plan de la Tour village is 1km from the house. It is an unspoilt friendly Provencal village. Nearby you will find the ancient hill top villages of Grimaud, Ramatuelle and Gassin.

Heading inland you can discover 'Provence profonde' - the lavender fields, canyons and lakes around The Gorge du Verdon (Europe's deepest canyon) where you can kayak, pedallo or fish.

One of the joys of this location is that you can be as active or lazy as you like!

Life can just revolve around the house and pool and the local village where you will find boulangeries, restaurants, a bank and a pharmacy, an excellent butcher, boutiques, an office de tourism and garage. Just a little further away you'll find the local theme park 'Aqualand'.

Or you can go a little further afield for the razamatazz of the Cote d'Azur and its glamourous people, music, night clubs, bars and restaurants.

Aix en Provence is just over an hour away by car.

  • Notes on accommodation: Recently refurbished, this architect-designed apartment is decorated in boutique hotel style in contemporary greys and whites. Folding glass doors open right back creating an inside/outside room with direct access onto a private south facing terrace. Steps from the terrace lead up to the infinity pool which is shared with the owners when they are there. Much thought has been given to providing a clean, calm, modern and pleasant environment in this peaceful setting. Within minutes however, one can be at the coast with all the activities and fun associated with beach life on the Cote d'Azur. Outside: The gardens extend to about one acre and surround the house on all sides. They are part formal, part informal with olives and oaks , oleanders, lavender, fig and almond trees, agave and mimosa. The saline swimming pool is approx 11m x 5m and shared between the owners and the apartment. There are various different outside areas for al fresco dining. Loungers and a hammock are available at the pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property is cleaned at the beginning and end of your stay. Towels and linen are included.
