Apartment in Antibes, Provence-Alpes-Cote DAzur, France - Fantastic Holiday Area

As soon as you arrive at the property, you will be in holiday mode, the floor is a lovely parquet and sets the mood for the whole place. Located on the first floor the view is magnificent. The feel is almost country but with city infrastructure. There is a warm homely feeling and great furnishings to help you relax after a beach day or a walk around the cap on the coast track. The location is great for having a relaxing holiday at one of the best beaches and areas. There is also space and tranquility while at the same time offering the option of walking a few meters to a choice of famous restaurants. There are Ferrari's and Bentley's driving past. Both bedrooms are double size, 1 has a queen size bed the other 2 singles, both rooms have their own bathroom, 1 with a large bath/shower the other has a very large shower. All the floors are a lovely parquet and the whole place has modern quality fittings and furnishings. There is aircon throughout and some handy beach toys/accessories.

We bought the place in 2005 and have extensively renovated. We have 3 young boys and just love the area and views. The whole cap is a paradise for people that like the outdoors.

Pleased with the property, fantastic view.

Had a lovely holiday, the property was fine for our needs and just what we wanted for this holiday. The only downside was that we had to clean the place when we got there, we had to sweep throughout and the fridge still had bits of food on the shelves and needed a thorough clean before it could be used, also the glasses all needed washing and so we just put them and all the cutlery in the dishwasher. Everything else i.e. bed linen towels etc. were fine. Not the best start to the holiday but all went fine after that.

The bathrooms and bedrooms were a nice size with plenty of cupboard space and the lounge / kitchen area was fine but a little Spartan.

Perfect for the beaches only 5 minutes walk and there are also two mini supermarkets within walking distance.

Left 8.00am local time 27th August now 5.00pm 1st Sept not yet had my deposit back, all left clean and tidy and no breakages.

I would definitely recommend this property as good value for money and would definitely stay there again should it still be available.

great location by Garroupe sandy beach

We stayed at the apartment for a month. We were very impressed with the all and particularly the location. The views were better than in the photos.

We found all was very clean when we arrived and very comfortable. All accessories we needed were provided as being at home. The appliances are much higher quality than we had expected, the washing machine and the drier in particular. Internet worked well. Lots of cleaning products were in place. The appartment provided even the umbrella, small chair and beach towels.

The Garroupe sand beach is a few steps from the apartment. We really enjoyed it and we also enjoyed the famous Keller Plage Bar/Restaurant for drinks. there are also 3 other bars at the beach. The walk around the Cap D'Antibes starts from there and we found it really enjoyable. As well as walking the lovely back roads in the area.

The 2 supermarkets walking distance were well stocked with most we needed.

It was very easy to drive from the appartment to Juan les Pins, Antibes or Cannes for more shopping or bars and the view on the way is fantastic. All is very close by.

We will definitely be going again and will recommend to our friends!

This area really is for Billionaires (and some lucky people), most properties have large gardens and great views, there's lots of trees, and even the trees have a special look. The weather is fantastic, the Cap blocks most of the strong summer winds if there are any. Not far away are the botanical gardens, there is a great walk around the coast starting at the end of the beach. Cap d Antibes is between Cannes and Nice, near to so many places to go, yet away from it all just a tiny bit so you have some space.

The beach is across the road and along another 150 meters, it is a lovely sandy calm spot. There is a choice of public or pay beach spots, reasonable restaurants or high end right on the beach.


Nice airport is 22 km away, Antibes train station 4 km or Juan les Pins 3 km.

There is a ferry to the islands off Cannes in Juan les Pins. A car is recommended for visiting some lovely villages etc.


The property is located on Cap D' Antibes, the Cap is a billionaires holiday area.

Eden Roc is 500m up the road, a well known Russian has a very large property in view from the window.

Antibes town offers history while Juan Les Pins is the modern party spot, both are about 3km away.

Antibes is a historical town dating back to the Romans, there are many remains of their presence in the area, from the old walls in the town to the small ports on the other side of the cap.

Further Details:

There are some small shops 5 minutes walk up the road, a post office and other shops are up the road in another direction. There are restaurants on the beach and in the nearby hotels a short walk away. For more variety there are many restaurants and shops in both Antibes and Juan les Pins.

A security fee for keys etc of 500 Euros is required as part of the final payment, this will be returned within 14 days of departure less any loss/damage charges. A cleaning fee of 70 Euros will be due with final payment for cleaning at the end of stay.

Changeover Day:
We prefer Saturday to Saturday bookings but are flexible. Times can also be flexible.

Notes on prices:
We would prefer people to stay for longer times and offer a discount for 1 month or more.

You are on the French Riviera, it's busy but not mad. The beach is a nice fine white sand with a gentle slope so it's kid friendly. My favorite is the little beach cafe in the corner, the setting is sublime.
