Hi we are Eddy and Gill the owners of Fistral Beach View, we live in the midlands have children, grand children and a dog, and love getting down to the coast as often as we can. We have designed the layout of the house to suit our needs whilst giving considerable thought to the needs of our guests and have made the house particulary child and dog friendly.

Home from home, friendly neighbours and very child friendly. Great to be able to park the car for free and forget about it for the week. Fantastic to be so close to the beach. Lovely wood burner in the winter.

Great location for exploring Newquay for us being first time visitors. Less than a 5min walk to the beach. House was clean & comfortable. Being dog friendly a bonus. Rebooked for next year, cant wait. Keep up the good standard.

Lovely location and house

We stayed in Aug 16 and had a lovely time, it's in a great location and the house is ideal for a family looking for a great beaches etc. We were also able to bring our dog which was great. We would recommend this place to others.

Excellent location

Excellent location for the beach. Only a 10 minute stroll. The house provided all the amenities that you would need for a holiday.Plenty of bedroom space. We took our 4 year old daughter and so the stair gates provided were ideal. Also fairly close to the town centre. Would definately recommend for a holiday.

Lovely well equipped property. Very homely everything there that is needed and more. Very clean and comfortable, close to all amenities. Excellent location for beach and the town. Very dog friendly. Would defiantly stop again.

Location

We bought the property in October 2011, and have completely renovated it from top to bottom, so new bathroom, new kitchen and appliances and decorated throughout to a high standard. Location: Some of the local activities and attractions on offer around Newquay. Pub / Restaurant -60 metres. Shop - 40 metres. Beach - 300 metres. Golf - 500 metres. Fishing/river/sea- 5min walk. There is a pub / restaurant 60 metres away. Local shop is only 40 metres away. (Great pasties). Fistral beach is only 300 metres from the front door! It takes 10 minutes to walk to Salisbury's and a 15 minute walk into the town centre. Bed linen and towels included.

Use of indoor swimming pool and facilities at the Esplanade Hotel or the Pentire Hotel from £4.50 per adult.

Fantastic surfing! at Fistral beach 300 metres from the front door, fishing on the river Gannel 5 minute walk from the back door. Beautiful coastal walks, as well as all the moors to explore.

Jet ski safaris at Lusty Glaze. kite surfing, sand boarding( you must try it)

Coast/Beach:

300 metres to the countrys best surfing beach and a great place to sunbathe,

also access to a further seven beaches all within a 5 minute drive.

Great for dog walking straight from the door step.

Travel:

Newquay airport is located 6-7 miles away, a car is not really a necessity once you are at the property everything you need is within walking distance.

The train station is a 15 minute walk away.

Distances:

Newquay is a ten minute walk. The Eden project is twenty miles away and Lands End about forty miles, also close by is Perenporth, Watergate Bay and St Ives.

Further Details:

The town centre is a 10 minute walk away with Sainsburys also 10 minutes away, all the bars and restuarants are within easy reach and a short wobble home
