About the property

Exclusive area 150 metres from, beautiful setting with 5 shared pools, free Wifi, UK TV channels

El Rio is a 3 bedroom house which covers an area of approximately 1150 square feet, which is double the size of a good-sized two bedroom apartment. It is on an exclusive secure gated community and is in the most amazing location close to the sea, yet walking distance to the very upmarket Puerto Banus and San Pedro beach, which has wonderful beachside restaurants, Buddha beach and Mistral beach and also close to 5 star hotel Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus. This area of is known as the exclusive "Golden Mile" which is in Marbella and surrounding areas.

The 3 bedrooms and lounge have efficient air conditioning units, which also produce heat if needed during the colder months. We have Internet television which has a huge range of channels including all UK stations, which can all be viewed on the 60" LG HD Plasma Home Cinema TV! We also offer an efficient free wifi service.

There are 5 large shared swimming pools and it is totally secure and has amazing tranquillity. The garden has a lovely new dining table and chairs on the terrace to seat 4-6 people, barbecue and sun loungers. The master bedroom also has 2 terraces. There are beautifully maintained communal tropical gardens on this estate, along with the many swimming pools. Very easy to park directly outside the house and it is a very quiet, tranquil location, although only minutes walk from all the high life and many activities, restaurants and shops that you could ever wish for. There is a Tesco type supermarket nearby. Cot/High chair available upon request.

The accommodation will be cleaned prior to your stay. Towels (except beach towels) and linen are provided.

Malaga and Gibraltar airports are both 38 miles from the property and a 40 min drive on the motorway. We can recommend independent taxi drivers, including a 7-seater taxi service for your journeys to/from the airport. We do recommend you hire a car for your stay. It costs no more to hire a car, than it will for taxis to/from the airport. It is very easy to park directly outside the house and it is a very quiet, tranquil location, although only minutes walk from all the high life and many activities, restaurants and shops that you could ever wish for.

Marbella - 10 min drive, Puerto Banus - 10 min walk and San Pedro - 4 min walk. 150 metres walk to the beautiful San Pedro beach, which has beach bars and restaurants including where Princess Diana and her two sons used to eat regularly. Also James Hewitt, her former boyfriend, has a lovely restaurant within 5 minutes from the house. You will also be very close to the beautiful Buddha and Mistral beaches too. Puerto Banus is an exclusive marina often visited by the rich and famous. There are designer shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and beautiful yachts in the marina. In addition to the exclusive restaurants and shops, there are also more affordable shops and places to eat and drink. Las Brisas, Guadalmina and Aloha Golf Courses are all within a 10 min drive.

The Costa del Sol is one of the most beautiful areas on the Spanish coast, including the lovely Marbella, San Pedro and Puerto Banus There are lovely places to visit and shop, in addition to some beautiful beaches such as Buddha and Mistral. If you hire a car, there are beautiful mountain villages such as Ronda and Mijas, which are well worth visiting. You could also take a drive to Gibraltar (about 40 mins by car) which is very good for shopping (don't forget your passports). Tarifa, just past Gibraltar, has the finest beaches in Europe. There are many historical sights to visit and Seville is only just over a 2 hour drive away and is spectacular. You also have the Sierra Nevada ski resport, which is approx 2 hour drive and is worth visiting there in the summer as well. It is 11,500 feet high and has amazing scenery. The Costa del Sol, Marbella area, was voted one of the top 3 places in the world to go on holiday to, by the New York Herald.

We can offer excursions in an air conditioned 8-seater minibus to Ronda, Gibraltar, Malaga, Granada, Seville and Jerez de la Frontera, to name but a few. pre booking us advised. Please enquire for details.

During the winter months, it will probably be too cold to swim in the pools as they are not heated. However, we will provide you with details of heated indoor swimming pools in the area. Depending on the climate, the pools will be closed each winter from October/November and will reopen the following March/April.

The location of this beautiful townhouse was superb, walk out the security gate, turn right and you can see the sea within a 2 minute walking distance straight ahead. It's also ideal for the nightlife in Peurto Banus, a 10 minute walk via the sea front or few minutes in a taxi which cost apprx 8 Euros so if your sharing the cost with friends its even better



The house was absolutely beautiful. The pictures are fantastic but do not do this little gem the justice it deserves until you are physically in the house. Spacious, private, secure, modern, spotlessly clean and the 60 inch plasma with the available Wifi was excellent



The facilities were top class, there was nothing we needed that this house didn't provide. Had way more than what we expected. Great Hairdryer!.

The owner of this property was fantastic the whole way through since booking to arriving home. Always answered my calls or if unavailable returned my call very promptly. Really informative with the emails sent before we travelled with the maps and every possible thing you would need to know about the apartment and much more. Te "Welcome Pack" is also pack with information, detailed which is what you need but very easy to understand.

Beautiful place

We stayed with our family in February.

The house exceeded our expectations and met all our needs. Very close to the beach and Marbella town.

Our Brilliant Holiday Town House Stay in San Pedro / Puerto Banus. I would recommend this Villa.

We have just got back from a brilliant holiday in a Town House in San Pedro. / Puerto Banus. The Town House made the holiday, its in a good location, and is very easy to find. There are 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms upstairs. Down stairs there is a wash room and toilet, a large living room / dining area. A well equipped kitchen which had all the equipment we needed. We had a problem with the lack of Hot Water, there was not enough to bathe 2 people. We sent a text to Stacey and she had an English speaking heating engineer there that same evening and when we came back from a trip to Gibraltar the next evening the Boiler had been completely re-newed. We really enjoyed our time in this Town House, and will be returning for longer next year. All windows have shutters making it feel very safe. Parking is very easy and convenient on the road outside, but there is also a dedicated parking bay inside the complex. There are swimming pools but we did not use so cannot comment. Stacey is at the other end of the phone ready and willing to sort out any problems that arise. We highly recommend this Town House and with Stacey at the other end of phone make for a very carefree vacation.

Great property, peaceful setting, good location.

Great property, peaceful location, close to beach and good selection of restaurants. Excellent golf location, spoilt for choice for good courses. The house has everything you could need including a choice of pools within the complex, all in all a great stay.

Lovely accommodation and great location for families

Stacey was very helpful from the moment we booked, and answered all my questions promptly. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was more than spacious enough for four adults and two small children. The location was perfect for us with the grandchildren. They loved the playground, which was less than a five minute walk away, and was cool and shady by late afternoon. They also liked the children's tv channels, which they don't have at home! The pools were great with plenty of sunbeds round them, and it was wonderful to have them just a few seconds walk away. They were warm enough to swim in comfortably and made the holiday for the children. It was also a very quiet location and there was no noise from neighbours at night, so it was a peaceful and relaxing week.

The nearest beaches were rocky but the one we particularly liked was a few minutes walk in the direction of Puerto Banus, which was less rocky and shelved very gently into the water -although it was 24 euros to hire two sunbeds and an umbrella, so you need to be planning to spend the day there to make it worth it. There are lots of cafes and restaurants along the beaches which weren't cheap but were good. We can recommend getting the ferry from Puerto Banus to Marbella - more fun than a taxi. I would definitely highly recommend it, especially for families.

Great Apartment

This was a great apartment, very well looked after, walking distance to where we needed to be. Surrounding area, pool etc was nice and quiet.

Stacey was an absolute great help, all information we needed was in the apartment in a folder. So much information was provided for us. I would definitely stay here again.

We require 25% of the rental as a holding deposit (non refundable), the balance 56 days before the rental starts together with £250 damages deposit.

Approx 1 week before departure, we will send you a full set of keys by secure post. On your return home we would ask you to send the keys to us. Damages deposit will be returned once property has been checked (within 1 week) and we receive return of the keys.

Changeover Day:

Changeover days are flexible. Cleaning is between 10.00 and 15.00. Check out by 10.00. Check in from 15.00, but luggage can be dropped off earlier. Times can be flexible, but only by prior arrangement.
