Why Peter Birkert chose Pyla

This apartment, completed in 2010, was chosen by us because of its excellent location to just about every activity available in Cyprus. This coupled with the wealth of local attractions, close to the sea yet in a relatively quiet rural setting influenced our choice of the Pyla/Oroklini area. Pyla stands out as the quieter option.

Even so, close by are numerous, some excellent, restaurants offering widely varied cuisine.

Swimming is wonderful wherever you go; warm clear water, and most beaches in this part of Cyprus are sandy and proudly fly the Blue Flag.

There's plenty for walkers and bird lovers too.

All this just 20 minutes away from Larnaca city and the airport!

What makes this apartment unique

.Though not quite unique, our roof top terrace has to be seen to be believed. To stand or sit there in the early mornings or late evenings, transports you to another world of relative peace and tranquility where you can look forward to the days ahead or reflect on the past. Walking into a lovely clean apartment with every amenity needed catered for really helps set your holiday on a good stand. One big shop at the supermarket and we were set for our two weeks here in Pyla. The location gave us perfect access to local blue flag beach and easy drive to visit family around Larnaca and eastwards to Ayia Napa. The highlight of this apartment is without a doubt the roof terrace, excellent views and lovely place to unwind once kiddies are asleep.

Lovely apartment in a very peaceful environment

A very nice, clean apartment that is just right for a relaxing break away from it all! The rooms were of good size and the beds comfortable.

The kitchen was very well equipped. Air conditioning was excellent and the wi-fi worked well for us.

The swimming pool was good and on most occasions we had it to ourselves. There was a bus service, approximately 5 minutes walk away, throughout the day and into the evening. Good, once you get used to the timing of it, €1.50 any distance and took about 40 minutes to get into Larnaca. Taxi service also good and would cost app. €15 to Larnaca.

There are no Tavernas within walking distance, nearest being on the Dhekalia strip, we liked Vlachos and Chistalo’s! Good offers, food and service. €10 for taxi to these.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the only criticism is that only one set of linen and towels were provided. As we stayed for 2 weeks and being so warm it was necessary to wash them having to dry them and then remake beds on return from trips out, the last thing we wanted to do on holiday! Also on two of the days that we did this we had downpours and were lucky that we returned in time to get it in! How unlucky was that?

Communication and financial dealings with the owner was excellent, fast and efficient.

If we were to return, and it might happen, we would hire a car for the full period of our holiday!

Perfect destination ))

We - three adults and a kid - had an outstanding vacation in Blue Serenity at the end of May 2014. The appartment was equipped with everything we needed and beyond. Since we were traveling with 2-years old Tima we even had free brand-new highchair from the owners )) as for the roof terrace - we fall in love with it immediately on arrival. BBQ every night and sun bath during the day - that was exactly what we needed. 5-minutes drive to the beach fit us also: there is a UK Royal Fusiliers military base with sandy beach and zero-tourist coverage. Also we strongly recommend taverna at the base just near the beach - cheap and tasty! Need an crowd - Aya Napa and Larnaca are also close: within 20-minutes drive. That was true perfect. Pyla is great location and Blue Serenity is just what we need. Will certainly do again!

great time

What can we say? We had a great time at this apartment, it is fully furnished with everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We found the blue guide book invaluable in fact we dubbed it the bible. All of it's suggestions were excellent. The roof top terrace was a lovely place to enjoy a bbq and a game of cards on an evening and the balcony terrace was great to sit on when the afternoon sun became to much. The pool was great and we mostly had it to ourselves. The communication from the owners prior to arriving is easy and we had all of the details that we needed before we left. Even after our early arrival the rep meet us at the apartment with a smile. A lovely complex, a lovely Village and a fantastic apartment.Nothing seems too much trouble. The location means a car is a must but as we like to explore we had already hired a car anyway.
