Beautiful home and views, and awesome owner!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this villa for five days in April 2017, in the one bedroom top floor suite. We cannot say enough good things about it!

The view was absolutely stunning, we were pinching ourselves every day. It was lovely being able to sit out on the huge deck, with a glass of wine, and listening to the waves below. There is 180 ish steps up to the villa from the road , however it is well worth every step! There are a number of restaurants a short walk away (5-7 minutes) that we really enjoyed eating at. If you want to go into "town center" it is a 10-15 minute walk.

The villa its self is clean with an up to date small kitchen (no oven, but dopes have a two burner gas stove top, and a microwave). The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of closet space. There is also a couch that folds down into a nice sized bed, where my sister slept for a couple of nights.

Giovanni was great to deal with! He was helpful, attentive, and even had a beer waiting for us in the fridge. He helped us answer questions that we had about the town and transportation around the Amalfi coast.

We would highly recommend this villa, and we would definitely return.

Perfect week in Positano

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on our break on the Almafi Coast. From the initial contact, Giovanni was helpful and even more so in person; he met us at a convenient point to guide us through the myriad of stairways to reach the apartment. Be warned there is no left or right in Positano, only up and down. However, the view from the generous balcony down to the picturesque town more than made up for the effort.

The penthouse apartment came equipped with everything we needed for the stay and judging by the comments from previous guests, we were not alone in enjoying the charms of Positano.

Our stay was during the end of the low season which suited us as I imagine the height of summer would be unbearable in terms of traffic and tourists. Instead we were able to enjoy the excellent restaurants at leisure; a particular favourite was to enjoy an Aperol by the beach before dinner.

Overall, a very enjoyable stay at a lovely apartment and Giovanni was a considerate host.

Even more beautiful than the photos!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at Giovanni's 1 bedroom penthouse villa. The deck is huge and sun drenched until about 3 PM. The views are even more beautiful than the photos. Truly spectacular. Giovanni was an absolute delightful person to work with, he is very responsive to emails and texts, helped us organize rides and taxis when needed and did everything he could to make our stay fantastic. We loved the location, the stairs really aren't such a big deal and unless you have mobility problems should not stop you from staying at this wonderful place. We really liked the location, a little out of main town but within a nice walking distance to the bus stop up the hill (not with luggage however). Totally recommend this villa to anyone making a trip to Amalfi Coast (and the last week of March was an awesome time to be there before all the crowds come). Thanks Giovanni!

Nice property, convenient location

  • 5 of 5

My family (husband and 12 year old daughter) spent 5 nights in the end of February at this property. I would chose the same property if we ever go back in a heart beat.

It is well maintained, clean and with breath-taking views. Bus stop for Amalfi and Sorrento is only 10 mins walk, food stores are at about the same distance. Positano downtown area is at about 20 mins walk which i recommend as a walk not a drive - you will experience the beauty of the small streets and the beautiful houses. Yes, there are stairs, but what are you doing at Amalfi coast if you are not willing to walk up and down ? :)

There is a small beach at about 15 mins walk down the stairs which is also very nice. The balcony from our part of the apartment had lounge chairs and table to enjoy time outside, which we did even in the cool weather of early spring.

Stairs are not exposed so i think this property is also good for small children.

There are plenty of restaurants around too.

The most beautiful view and friendly host!!

  • 5 of 5

Giovanni was exceptional...met us at the parking area. Walked us up to the house...called the porter to carry our luggage up the 230 stairs for us!! Explained the entire house to us. Let us check in a day earlier than our reservation. Left us a beer and a bottle of wine in the frig. Was prompt in answering us if we had any questions. This is a fantastic place in positano..great location and the view is absolutely stunning. We would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to Giovanni for making our stay easy, comfortable and beautiful!!

Perfect Amalfi Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This villa is amazing!! My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our Italian vacation. The owner, Giovanni, was incredibly gracious, welcoming, spoke excellent English, and helped with the long ascent up to the villa. The villa has some of the best views of the Positano seaside, and the expansive patio is a wonderful place to relax with a meal and drink, enjoy the scenery and to relax. The villa is extremely comfortable, quiet, and a perfect place to take a relaxing holiday. Highly highly recommended!!!
