The complex has an adult and children's swimming pool in a safe garden area. taxi rank and public transport are close by. The Miraflores Golf Club is close by and open to non members. The apartment is in a safe gated complex and is an ideal base for a relaxing holiday or a perfect base for touring the coast. Only a short 5 minute walk to bars, restaurants and a supermarket in Torrenueva. There are more shops restaurants, bars and supermarkets at Riviera del Sol and La Cala which are only a short distance away. Just 5 minute walk to the popular Nacho beach, with sunbeds, umbrella and a choice of several places to eat and drink. We loved Mijas Costa and the apartment being walking distance to the beach. Being also 2 hours from Africa is very exciting.

Notes on accommodation: Suitable for both families and couples. Gates are installed on all windows and doors for added security. Secure car parking available. No pets allowed and strictly no smoking in the apartment. Please note that any accident or injury, however it occurs, for what ever reason is the responsibility of the client making the booking and not the owner of the property. Outside: There is a large shared adult swimming pool and a children's pool, with a lifeguard in attendance. These are in a safe fenced off grassed area in the middle of the complex, with sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Communal poolside showers and WC are also available. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean towels and linen are supplied. Please supply own towels for beach/pool. Apartment cleaned before and after stay. Mid-stay linen change can be arranged at an extra cost. Other: Large balcony (20 m2) with table and 6 chairs. Magnificent views of the sea, the hillside and the village of Torrenueva. We provide parasols and beach toys.

Perfect stay. Fabulous overall experience.

I stayed in this apartment for just under 3 months, and was great! Gail met me at arrival & was really helpful.

Apartment is clean, bright & airy & view from terrace is just amazing! It is really well equipped & also all the condiments, bits & pieces left over I imagine from other 'rentals' was nice touch. I don't drive but there's no need. You have everything you need around & local bus (220) has stop at bottom of hill. Beach is 5 min walk & the boardwalk which runs for few miles was a great walk Morning & evening. Local supermarket, bars & restaurants within easy walking distance, & you need to go to Jacquelines!!! I stayed on my own & no time did I feel unsafe, & was also welcomed warmly wherever I went.

There is also a Lidl a short walk away & the local market held on a Wed and Sat morning is great for picking up fruit/veg & other bargains. And only short bit away from Lidl.

15 min walk and you're in La Cala de Mijas too.

The pool area is just great, & was always a sunbed available while I was there. Mouna the owner of apartment was a pleasure to deal with & communication was excellent.

Yes, the hill leading up is quite steep but great exercise ;)

Apartment easily fits 6 people, & I had a work colleague come out for a stay and they loved it.

I will definitely be looking to come back. Only moved out as there were already people booked in prior to me finding this little gem. Thank you Mouna & Gail for a fabulous stay.

Great appartment and location as expected.

We had a week in September in this large spacious apartment. The location was great except we used taxis every day to get back up the hill as we are all pensioners with dodgey hips.hahaha. The lady who welcomed us was great and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The appartment was very clean light and airy(the air con not required), the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen had all the items nessesary for a home from home. There is a lovely beach five min walk away and the stroll into La Carla along the boardwalk very pleasant. Would recommend to all.

Lovely apartment in a great location, clean, family friendly and close to beach

My partner and I plus our 4 children stayed for 10 days. I could not fault it. Nice pool and baby pool on site. Apartment was clean, everything organised with owner without any problems.

A 5 min walk to nice restaurants/supermarket and the lovely beach.

I will definitely be looking to return.

Nice and clean

Property was clean. Location is very good, keeps you fit if you're walking! Had to park car outside community gates and up the hill but if you don't mind walking 5 min then it's not too bad. Secure car parking space was not available to use, contrary to what the description said. You get to drive in to drop off bagage or shopping which helps a little. The complex is very well looked after. A lot of spanish residents which was lovely...much nicer crowd than other places we've been before. There were a lot of families and everyone seemed very respectful of their surroundings, of other people and of the community rules. The view from the balcony is very nice. It's also very quiet at night which helps with sleeping. The air conditioning units didn't seem to be working well but once we decided to switch it on to fan-only it made a big difference and we were able to sleep. There are 2 bedrooms without air-con. One of them had a fan to plug in which was a life saver. The other twin bedroom had nothing. The TV wasn't straight forward to use which due to the Euro 2016 was a bit disappointing. We finally got some channels working on the last day of our holiday, but it didn't merit satelite and cable TV description in its profile for the amount of channels that were available...It just so happens we were happy to have a TV and Internet free holiday and we all enjoyed it very much. There are plenty of beach toys and gadgets available at the apartment, including a plastic chair and a parasol which were very handy to take along to the beach. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday. The apartment was good enough for our family of 5 and I would consider staying there again if I ever returned to Malaga. I was also pleased we got our damage deposit back promptly, as in our experience that's not always been the case in many places. I would recommend your apartment to friends and family.

Great Holiday

Had a great time here very neat and tidy apartment plenty of room and the en-suite a god send as there was 6 of us.

The lady (Gail) who met us was fantastic even at 1 am she was very good. Pool was great and the lifeguard great fun.

Local area was very nice plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance especially La Cala (very nice with a great market on wed/sat)

kids liked Raquets Bar as it had free WiFi. alll in all a great holiday!!

Special interest holidays:

Tennis, bowls badminton gymnasium and mini golf are available at The Aztec Country Club which is open to non residents and is in the heart of Riviera del Sol. Tennis (with plexi-cushion courts) and excellent squash courts are also available at The Club Del Sol. The Miraflores Bowls Club is open all year round to non members and is situated in the Miraflores complex. Also available is wind surfing, diving, paragliding, surfing water skiing and horse riding.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful Nacho Sandy beach is a short 5 minute walk away, with plenty of bars and restaurants. With water sports and facilities for children. There are also other beautiful sandy beaches only a short drive away, Calahonda, La Cala, Riviera Del Sol, Cabopino, Marbella, Fuengirola and Puerto Banus.

Travel:

Malaga International Airport is the nearest airport to the apartment, which is a 25 minute drive away approx 35km. A car is recommended, but is not essential, cars may be hired from the airport or a local agent. Transport can be arranged to and from the airport if desired. Public transport is about a 6 minute walk away and is very regular and reliable. It runs all along the coast from Fuengirola to Marbella, and links up with other destinations. Trains run from Fuengirola to Malaga.

Distances:

Torrenueva is within walking distance to La Cala, Calahonda and Riviera del Sol. Only a short drive away is Cabopino, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola. These places are also accessible by public transport, the bus passes the bottom of the road. Also within driving distance of Nerja, Mijas, Cordoba, Estepona, Gibraltar, Seville, Granada, Malaga, Ronda and Jerez. Day trips to these places can be arranged through local agents, as can a visit to Tangier in Morocco. (Africa)

Further Details:

It is only an 8 min walk from Angel de Miraflores to a variety of different restaurants in Torrenueva, including Chinese, English, Italian, French, and Indian. Most of these restaurants have al fresco eating areas. Amongst the restaurants is the very popular 'Steve’s Bar' with regular entertainments.

Also situated in this area is the local supermarket always stocked with a very good selection of fresh meat, bread, vegetables and all general provisions. There are larger supermarkets based in la Cala, Riviera Del Sol, Calahonda, also many bars, restaurants and banks. The Commercial Centre's at Marbella (La Canada) Fuengirola (Miramar) are well worth a visit. The nearest market is at La Cala held on Wednesday and Saturday. Markets are held every day of the week, details can be found in the local free newspapers.

Puerto Banus with its impressive yachts, world famous fashion shops, Casino, shopping centre, top beaches and spectacular views, makes this place special. The nightlife is buzzing with numerous bars and restaurants.

Gibraltar has many attractions,St Michales Cave,Cable cars,Wild Dolphins and Barbary apes. A passport is required when visiting Gibraltar. Mijas is one of the prettiest villages in Spain, this traditional village has breath taking views. Tour this village on the famous Donkey taxis.

Ronda is truly a spectacular village, famous throughout Spain for the plunging river gorge which divides this enchanting village. Ronda also has the oldest and most beautiful bullring in the whole of Spain.
